I mean I want a deck that just 1v3 consistently pulling no punches to the face and groin. I want people to rage quit left and right while playing this deck and I want everyone to refuse to play me while I'm using this deck.
I would have to say either Zedruu Stax, Ghave Stax or Combo, or Jenara/Derevi Combo/midrange. I've heard Maralen of the MornsongAd Nauseam combo is also pretty backbreaking, lemme see if I can find the article about it...
U/B ad nausuam the core list my take. sorry for formatting just used export from mtgo so it looks funny but it has the correct cards. use a timetwister if you have one.
Nothing. If your group is doing multiplayer right, then no one deck should be overpowering the board. If it is, you can expect to get gang up on and sit out most of the night.

I don't think there's a strategy that can't be answered. Sure, you may have to might some adjustments to your play and deck, but nothing too drastic.

I've seen Azusa go 3v1 many times, including against decks already mentioned. Sometimes it's too fast for disruption, or with fast resources and land destruction is able to overwhelm the answers.

Maralen is terrible. She lets your opponents tutor for an answer before you get to tutor for AN. I've never actually seen Zedruu stax, so I can't really comment on that, but it can't be worse than Sharuum combo decks.

Quoted for truth. There is no always auto win the 3v1 deck. No deck so degenerate that it's going to consistently do what you're asking. Super fast combo decks tend to be fragile and generally fall apart with 1 or 2 pieces of well placed removal. Slower combo decks are much more resilient but offer the opponent time to adjust. Stax is generally very inconsistent, sometimes locking down the board as early as turn 2 and sometimes not doing anything relevant until turn 4. Everything has a counter, there is no auto-win strategy.
Unfortunately every try hard from Sacramento to Shanghai preaches from the top of their 27 lands + Mana Reflection that Tooth and Nail and Time Stretch are fine to play in the same turn but Armageddon is unfair.
I agree with some of the others. There isnt really a deck that can consistently win 3v1. The element of surprise helps a lot of decks take the win (sandbagging and playing the politics). Decks like stax just exploit somewhat one-sided drawbacks to achieve small gains which add up over time.
I suggest playing a strong deck that you enjoy playing. After all, this is a game for fun If what you want is rage quitting, hard core stax may be the way to go bbut 3v1 = rough.
Then you have decks that can win off T&N, but it's not a resilliant combo
And RUB decks packing Kiki-mite varients.
Oona can power out some wins but is a fragile deck.
Then you have mimeo decks that I'm partial to which I consider degenerate in disguise.
Hermit Druid is most certainly the most degenerate deck in EDH, its blisteringly fast, consistent and surprisingly resilient. It is most certainly beatable but it absolutely rolls over unprepared opponents and its still at least as good as any of the other mentioned decks against prepared opponents. It can actually beat a lot of the things people think are good against it and can often times manually kill people with Survival of the Fittest.

Yea if he didn't say "other than hermit Druid" that would be my suggestion. After that it's just a bunch of ad Nausuam decks doesn't matter a whole lot what brand either. Unless you opponents are all U I still think u/b Nausuam is best since it doesn't care about removal just counters. It's not as fast a Druid or doomsday but harder to interrupt and just as resilant to most kinds of control as Druid.
1. Tolsimir Wolfblood, Wolf Tribal
2. The Ghave precon, unaltered
3. Sivitri Scarzam UB dragons
then, yes, you can find a deck that can consistently ruin their fun.
If on the other hand it's like:
1. Sharuum Combo
2. Zur the Enchanter
3. Hermit Druid
Then no, you're not going to be able to win more than MAYBE 1/3 of your games no matter what you do.
Short answer: there are lots of tuned tier 1 decks that can 3v1 casual decks. But there are, obviously, no tuned tier 1 decks that can 3v1 other tuned tier 1 decks.
