Maybe if you're running something like Prophet of Kruphix you can just ignore the turn skipping (since you're basically taking an extra turn all the time) and then just enjoy the actual extra turn when you decide to use it.
But that's really a stretch and I don't know why you would need it if you have a live Prophet.
Good point and then good point again
I would assume it's useful for multiple attack steps though
I had a completely epic game involving Magosi once. My opponent had attempted to get a quick win by playing Show and Tell, he dropped a Hive Mind and then proceeded to cast Pact of the Titan. Hive Mind made everyone copy it and given that it was only turn 3 no one could actually pay the 5 mana(the only person who did have 5 mana, wasn't playing red funnily enough). Before it gets to my turn, where I most certainly would have lost, I activated Magosi and put an eon counter on it to skip my next turn. It completely skips over me and gets back to the original guy who couldn't pay for his own pact. Needless to say he was pretty upset when he it backfired on him.
Unfortunately every try hard from Sacramento to Shanghai preaches from the top of their 27 lands + Mana Reflection that Tooth and Nail and Time Stretch are fine to play in the same turn but Armageddon is unfair.

That's a really awesome story! One thing that might make this land slightly less clunky is elder druid, but that takes green as well. I can add this land to near the top of the list of things I want to Zealous conscripts!
