I currently have a few EDH decks in paper form, but sometimes do to lack of time or wanting a few late night matches I'd like to build a deck on MTGO. Is it easier to search around for hours finding the cheapest cards, or buying a deck straight out on a site like mtgotraders? Or just buy the cheaper ones and price shop for the more expensive ones?
The good thing with MODO is that you only need to buy one of each card and it goes in every deck you make. I'd say the best is to buy singles from established bot chains.
I'd say you're better off in the long run buy in singles, as you'll still have to buy singles to tweak the pre-purchased deck, and you won't end up with chaff cards that you didn't want. Depends mostly on if you'd rather spend time to save money or spend money to save time.
You can build goodstuff decks like Riku of Two Reflections with loads of unique fun creatures and a fun mix spells for about 10 tix or less. Considering creatures are only 0.05 for EDH staple fatties. Woodfall Primus is only 0.12 on mtgotraders for the Modern Masters version for example.
Thanks for the help!
