MTG Salvation

After the success of the Land Destruction one, I wanted to get your opinions on the best looters and diggers in R/G. R/G combo has a hard time tutoring for pieces, so this is really the only option. The obvious ones are obvious, so try to think outside the box.

I've been loving Rummaging Goblin in my Krenko build very solid if you have Squee, Goblin Nabob or Pyrewild Shaman to keep pitching to it.

I'm always a fan of the howling mine group of cards for political reasons.

Abundance is a good way to filter your draws every turn to find your combo pieces its even better with Sylvan Library in play

Of the cards with "draw" and "discard" in their text, these are the best that I saw which haven't been mentioned yet:



Geth's Grimoire works well with a lot of the "everybody discards/draws" cards.

Well aside from all the wheel effects, red needs to rely on the obvious artifacts.

The really slow card draw I used was Masked Admirers with sac/discard outlet

Fecundity can be abused with tokens.
Silverglade Pathfinder - pitch cards for Rampant Growth each turn.

Hibernation's End is basically a slower pseudo-Birthing Pod


EDIT: OP said not to mention the obvious ones. And Tin Street/Tibalt are just deplorable.

I actually didn't consider how busted Sylvan Library is with Abundance. The only down side is the later is a primary combo piece in my deck and anything that makes it look abuse-able doesn't help it stick around long enough to be used later.

Primitive etchings is similar to Rowen

Because the deck is a Borborgymos Enraged deck, Rowen is a better fit, but I don't think it's good enough.
