Doom Blade, Go for the Throat, Diabolic Edict... Decisions, decisions, decisions! Which is the removal spell you think is the most powerful? Which one will you never build a deck without? I'm reffering to cards of all colours but especially Black, Red and Blue.
There was a thread called Spot Removal not too long ago. If you did a search for it you could probably find it. They talked about a number of removal cards.
Also they're at instant speed, which is nice. Only things like Krosan Grip, Sudden Death, and Wipe Away are faster, sacrificing the exile effect for speed, when you really need to halt a combo (and killing creatures like Kiki-Jiki at Split Second speed feels so good).
lol, i love how almost everything so far has been white or green when he asked for UBR. but beast within would probably be my vote if we were talking any color. instant speed + flexibility = amazing. although stp is very very strong too.
since you didn't specify targeted or not, my vote is for o-stone.
if you did mean targeted, my personal favorite is probably either go for the throat or tragic slip. although capsize certainly has to be considered as well.

Well, the two colors do have some of the best removal for both creatures and noncreatures.
In his colors there's at least Spin Into Myth which removes all but hexproof/shrouded generals, Murder (which I just love using because of the name), Boomerang which is Isochron Scepter-able, and of course counters. Into the Core is instant-speed and exiles, and there is almost always at least 2 artifacts on the board.
Black has surprisingly meh spot removal, mostly because it's unable to deal with multiple types or permanents.
Blue has Rapid Hybridization and Pongify, which are awesome for being 1-mana removal. Red has Chaos Warp, which IMO is one of the best red spells for multicolored decks.

Capsize, and bounce in general, is more of a tempo thing than actual removal. Unless you're playing my Niv-Mizzet deck with Teferi's Puzzle Box.

One of my favorite creature removal spells is Devouring Light. Instantly exiling a guy for 0 mana feels good! I rank it up there with the more commonly discussed Swords & Path.
In red my default targeted removal suite is Chaos Warp, Lightning Bolt and Flametongue Kavu. Even in EDH there is typically a toughness 3 or less creature around that has to die, and Bolt is so cheap and versatile. And the Kavu is simply good value.
For just killing things... Swords to plowshares is the best. Except it isn't even that good in EDH, just a necessary inefficiency. For the most part board wipes are best. you want your spot removal spells to be as versatile as possible.
as For Black blue and red.
Black: A simple murder is pretty good, no conditions things just die. I was using it until I got my hands on the more versatile Putrefy. I am running Sever the bloodline because its hard to get your hands on an Ashes to Ashes.
Grixis Removal? Here are some good ones that haven't been mentioned.
Counterspells! Dissipate/Hinder solve 99% of your problems. They are one of the first things I tutor in Bolas Capsize is probably one of the best. (needed to be mentioned again!) Fissure. Instant speed creature or Land. Honestly, what's not to love? It's a little pricy, but it's worth it. Cinder Cloud. Serra Avatar? Boom!
There are others, but I don't remember the at the moment.

Personally, I would rather go with an exile effect due to how prevalent graveyard strategies are, like Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile, and for non creatures, Return to Dust.
Also they're at instant speed, which is nice. Only things like Krosan Grip, Sudden Death, and Wipe Away are faster, sacrificing the exile effect for speed, when you really need to halt a combo (and killing creatures like Kiki-Jiki at Split Second speed feels so good).
