it's a very tough deck to win with, you need a lot of card draw, as well as cards like explore or even exploration to play more land.
get cards like sylvian scrying to fetch maze's end
You could go the somewhat circuitous route of making one of the gates into a creature through one of green's many such effects, then copying it with Sakashima the Impostor. Not very effective, but still.
Has to be different names, as the card says. *EDIT* Whoops forgot Sakashima has a different name. Still way too clunky for my liking.
Ugh I hate that card so much. So trolly. But effective. Sacred Ground is enough to beat it, however. And also the reason to play small-but-efficient spells like Ray of Revelation.
What commander would you use to get all 5 colors for this?
Sliver Overlord or Scion of the Ur-Dragon, to make tutoring a big thing? Reaper King, for the sake of control? (You've got 52 options for scarecrows if you include changelings. More if you add clones.)

If i'm not mistaken, don't you have to use Maze's End on the 10th land to win the game via that process given its wording? If so that could cause some serious complications when it comes to sealing the game away.

You have to activate Maze's End in order to win. If there are 10 differently named Gates in play on resolution of Maze's End's ability, you win. It doesn't matter if the resolution of the ability put the 10th Gate into play or not.

Um... yes? So?
No matter how you achieve you win with Maze's End, it will be in your hand when you win. You win as part of the resolution of Maze's End's ability, and part of the cost of activating that ability is to bounce Maze's End.
I suppose you could respond to Maze's ability with something like Budoka Gardener to end the game with a Maze's End in play, but that's unnecessary.
Am I correct in understanding that to win with Maze's End, I need 10 differently named Gates?
Are there any other cards in the game that could turn a permanent into a Gate?
Thanks,

Best options to include are...
And any other nonbasic land tutors I might have missed.

Totally playing Sacred Ground and Terra Eternal to keep my lands safe, in addition to the standard Crucible of Worlds and Life from the Loam. I don't own an Exploration or Burgeoning, but I will play Azusa, Lost But Seeking and Oracle of Mul Daya too (with [c]Volrath's Stronghold to protect them!).
Totally agree'd on Knight of the Reliquary, and all the nonbasic land tutours (watch out for Price of Progress with this deck! Terravore is a strong enough beater for this deck too!

Ya, I was already planning on Amulet of Vigor. Planning to also run Trinket Mage to search for it and/or Expedition Map.
Also playing Thiespian's Stage and Vesuva to copy Maze's End and "accelerate" and/or mana fix.

I'd imagine Child of Alara being the best for this.
