They work in almost any color combination. I tun Tymna the Weaver Apostles. Would surely be better with Teysa at the helm, but on turn three she really helps with the draw.
I was thinking of going BW, but I haven't fully convinced myself yet...I already own Marrow-Gnawer due to my 1st commander deck being rats

Remembrance is the only reason why I'd go with BW, but the biggest issue I have with going BW is getting the extra W cards that i'd need to make it worthwhile.
I've tried it in my Alesha, Who Smiles at Death deck for less than 2 weeks (~5 game nights), realizing my meta is so token heavy, that most of the times there will be 1/1 tokens of some sort.
Is there going to be a Brawl subforum for the new standard-legal, 60-card format?

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
I recently rebuilt Doran, and this was the first card I added. Played it last night, and it's an absolute riot. Attacking for 5 is great, attacking for 11 with Slagwurm Armor is better.
Played A25 sealed last night to open up my box. Hit the best mythic in the set (Jace) as well as the two worst (in terms of value - Prossh can still steamroll a limited game). Solid box overall. Jace, Blood Moon, Rishadan Port, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Fetid Heath on top of a bunch of smaller stuff.
Masters set sealed is kind of weird. At various points my deck felt like either a prerelease deck, like with Dragon's Eye Savants/Ruthless Ripper openings, or a legacy deck, with Jace, Swords, Brainstorm, and Disfigure in hand.
edit: Dominaria is going to cause my wallet a lot of pain.
Hooray for more bland UG generals that are utterly broken in EDH.
Eventually there's enough that new busted UG generals don't even get played because we already have so many of them. You only need so many ways to draw cards in the command zone.
so, as I'm pulling out cards from my rare binder to flip for store credit, I realized I need to organize it..right now there's no set way in which the cards are in the binder.
I sort my rares by color, and that's it...I truly don't care enough to do more. I have had to add/remove pages due to what I have, though...so that's a hassle as well. And I try to put legendaries and planeswalkers(both the same now, I know) at the front of every color...
Ugh...thanks for reminding me I have to do the same, Hermes.
My binder is currently like 30% full because I never bother putting things back in after I build and destroy decks, but that's a good opportunity to empty it and alphabetize!

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
You can solve all these problems by not trading and stick everything in unmarked boxes instead.
edit: Drafted my IMA box last night. Had some solid pulls - foil and nonfoil Thoughtseize, BUG praetors, Cryptic Command, and a bunch of little stuff. Ended up with a UW control list full of Fog Bank and Dissipate that tried to stall until Yosei or Serra Angel, then won more games with it than I should have. I really like the masters limited environments. It's a shame that they're too expensive to play.
Also, first world magic problems: I want to try out a legacy deck running 3-4 Sylvan Library, but I only own 2 legends copies, don't want mismatched ones, and really don't want to pay a bunch of money for more of them.

I used to do the same..... then I got too many and now my surplus cards are sorted via long boxes. I got wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many things to put them in binders as I got to the point where I started needing more than one binder per color and I just said to hell with this nothing is actually for trade anyways lol.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I just use boxes. We've got a closet shelf full. There's no way I'm resorting a binder every time I misjudge how much room I needed for a particular color.

Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest or Reyhan, Last of the Abzan could be more recent commanders to fit that theme.
In BW i'd try to try to utilize and tutor for Remembrance, especially with Shadowborn Apostles.

Xenagos, the God of Stompy
The Gitrog Monster: Oppressive Value.

I bought one of those draft packs and a foil blood moon was the best pull
That's my current favorite Blood Moon printing. It's a great looking foil. I'm replacing my 9E foil in Jaya with one of those.
Planning on showing up to their Commander night on Tuesday. Never been to a Commander night before.
