Just make sure it's in this subforum. A girl's gotta pay for her prerelease, after all.
That was supposed to remain in the mod lounge. You weren't supposed to tell anyone that the mod who originally issued the ban gets a commission if the user buys an unban.

Sorry Cryo. /shame In my defense, I thought we had gone public with it, as Teia mentioned it in the Community Discussion thread.
I will always say that Cromat is a good defacto 5c commander. Maybe the baby if you want a wrath in the command zone. Cromat can pump himself though and actually be a wincon.
Went 5-0 at yesterday's prerelease. I'm going to another tonight with a friend for 2HG in a different store.
Sadly, the store I went to yesterday (the one my roommate owns) is still small enough that wizards doesn't send out much product so I had to take my prize packs as a SOI BFZ split. But it's still nice.
I went 5-1-1 in my prerelease yesterday and won a box for top 8. My store doesn't pay out prizes until next week so I have to wait until next Friday to get ahold of it.
Second pool was much better. This pack held Olivia, Mobilized for War as its promo, and also had Archangel Avacyn, Tamiyo's Journal, Goldnight Castigator, Scourge Wolf, and Ever After as playable rares. Decided to try Mardu Goodstuff (I mean, those opens demanded it) Unfortunately, as my opponent pool was much larger than the previous event, I ended up going 2-2 drop (6 Rounds) so that I could try again.
Third pool was middling between the two pools, because the promo, Silverfur Partisan, ended up leading into a G/R Werewolf deck that was lucky enough to open Arlinn Kord, TWO Sin Prodders, and another Scourge Wolf. I went 2-1 and got four packs, but I kept a bad hand in Match 2 that ended in a match loss because I got blown out by Biting Rain in game 3.
Prizes yielded another Arlinn Kord, a Jace, a Declaration in Stone, and a bunch of jank. Surprisingly, I managed NOT to bag a single Ulvenwald Hydra or Traverse the Ulvenwald (my two major hype cards) out of the 40 packs I opened this weekend.
Closing thoughts for Limited: Delirium is harder to hit than most people realize. Madness is awesome and pretty easy to do in the colors it's in. Clues are...neat, and some of their synergy cards are cool. Werewolves seems interesting as a lot of their dudes are low drops, meaning you have to try and balance getting new ones out, and letting your old ones flip over. I didn't see a single Humans or Spirits deck over the weekend, so I have no idea how good either of those are. Hatedraft Elusive Tormentor, because the only thing in this set that kills it is Biting Rain.

I used to go to prereleases just to signup and pick my kit. Never had the mood to sit through with all the kids. Now that I think of it i've never drafted on a LGS. Wow, when it comes to magic I am quite reluctant to play with complete strangers. If everyone concludes that SoI is a fun draft environment I'll have to step out my comfort zone
It was rather fun sealed pool, but not quite the level I remember from Theros sealed. But then, I had low expectations going into Theros and went "Wow! This is actually awesome!" whereas here I went into SoI expecting it to be really good, and I went "Wow! It's really good, just like I expected!"
The only thing is that werewolves seem really polarizing. Either they don't flip, and they suck, or you stick one early on a dead turn for your opponent, they flip, and they wreck face. Or, you go late, and then stick a werewolf when people are on top-deck mode, and they eat face. But it's a very small early window, suck mid-game, and then if you make it to endgame they become good again. And so it really depends on what archetype your opponent builds.
Bought two Time Sieve. Seller contacted me saying that one was a "ghost in their system" and asked if I still wanted the one or if I wanted a full refund. I won't explicitly say they're lying, but the timing is incredibly convenient.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I'm obviously going to the wrong store, I didn't lose a game and got 7 packs which is an upgrade from last prerelease where I was undefeated and got 4 or 5. This was with 100+ people.

I opened jank. Promo Harness the Storm, best card was Ulvenwald Hydra, which, while I wanted one... Not exactly the chase mythic of the set.

Sliver Queen is still my favorite and plays well with having lots of mana.

First pool had...*sigh* Eerie Interlude as my promo and opening Devil's Playground, Flameblade Angel, Geier Reach Bandit, and Elusive Tormentor as playable rares (got TWO rare dual lands and Nephalia Drownyard...) Ended up playing R/B Madness Vampires, and for the worst pool in the weekend, had the best performance as I went 3-0 split for 18 packs.
