I'm originally from the midwest and I'll agree that 100+ degree heat is nowhere near as bad at 80s and 90s with high humidity. Dry heat is uncomfortable, but hot and humid is really miserable.

Agreed.
I dislike the humidity of the American Midwest in summer. I appreciate winters there, however, and the large amounts of freshwater.
I think a water war is coming. Makes me glad I didn't emigrate to Canada.

100% agreed.
Heat Index is useful for humid environments. I've studied ED visits and deaths due to heat, and at a 105 heat index (which is like, 90 degrees with high humidity) people drop at twice the rate of any other time.
Wars fought specifically for control of fresh water.
Between the States and Canada? I know a lot of Canadians are mad that they basically handed their balls over to the states (cause of the conservative government).
Selling freshwater to the states at the price of ~$2.35 per million litters.
Hell, I'd send them a $10 bill and send the water somewhere with a drought and save so many lives.
My 4 years in Iowa were the most ball soggiest 4 years of my life.
A few years back I got the fun of patrolling on foot wearing Kevlar in the midwest summer. Nothing like a heavy duty shirt over Kevlar over an undershirt to make you drench yourself in the AC. Step outside and it felt like you were in your own swimming pool. I do not regret my change in occupation lol.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.

A lot of actors in the movie looked pretty good. I wonder how they made Furiosa look like she was missing an arm, without digitally erasing it all the time (which is probably what they did).

I recall reading that editing out her arm was one of only a few cgi effects in the movie.

I loved the chrome paint they would spray on their mouths. I found it really amusing.
The first time they did it I was really confused, I assumed it was a drug or something. And then "Shiny and Chrome" and I was like.. holy crap.
I really like the way how they just let the world work and didn't try to explain why things were the way they were. Made you actually want to care about the world of Max.
Shoutout to Guitar Guy.

To make up for it though, our weather doesn't make much sense, thanks to the high altitudes.
