I have Birthing Pod in one deck, Karador. Because I make regular changes and probably play the deck at most a dozen times a year (the hazards of having so many decks), I only vaguely remember what CMC creatures are in the deck (I certainly remember some which will never leave, like Duplicant, Angel of Despair and Ashen Rider). In the interest of time, would you allow me a small cheat sheet with my creature list on it sorted by CMC? What slippery slope argument would you make against such an allowance?

I probably would allow it because from a time sake as soon as you activate it you can tell us what it is you are retrieving and you can finish your turn before actually fishing it out which allows the game to progress faster. Its always awkward when someone casts a Chord of Calling over the top for like 10 and then has no idea what they are getting.
Really its just a shortcut. If I play a list a lot I know what most of my targets are going to be for a given mana cost but if you haven't played a deck for a while or made a lot of changes it might slow things down for no reason. If it was a competitive event I wouldn't allow it but given the nature of commander I would probably allow it.

I'd think, unless you were planning on using such a sheet in tournament play, that it's totally cool. As ISB implied, the nature of the format is pretty chill. I don't think anyone would mind if they had the interests of time in mind. Efficient turns means more plays. More plays means more games. More games means more Norin. Who could say no to that slope?
On the downside - it could be construed as "cheating" by some less savory elements. I can easily imagine folks getting truly upset about this and might, out of some pettiness, declare a need for a similar list. In before everyone has an organized decklist on hand at all times.

In the interest of time, would you allow me a small cheat sheet with my creature list on it sorted by CMC? What slippery slope argument would you make against such an allowance?
On the one hand, since once you activate it and sac a creature you aren't technically searching for a specific creature (any more than popping a Terramorphic Expanse forces you to name the land you intend to find), so having the list doesn't accomplish much more than the searching for your deck that you're already doing. On the other hand, it can be argued that having a list of the cards in your deck gives you a strategic advantage during the game because you can make or not make an action knowing that you have/don't have a good target when your opponents must rely on their own memory of their decks.
Overall, I don't think many people would care, especially in your group, but there is an advantage gained. But ultimately, like we commonly tell other users who ask questions which affect their playgroups, you're better off asking them and not random internet folks.
How is that even a question to MaRo???? He is a designer. I am just surprised he answered it considering it doesn't really sound like a question in the first place.
He responds to commentary like that pretty often actually. He is a designer as well as being one of the public relations guys so he should know the more popular variants that spring up or have longevity.

I'm reasonably sure my local group will let me pretty much do anything that's not shady (and would never consider that I'd resort to shadiness). I'm more curious about the broader perspective.

They did let you staple someones cards together after all
The advantage gained is sort of minor as a whole. Its not anything that you wouldn't have if you were familiar with your list. I would be more hesitant if someone else asked me to provide them a list so they could determine beforehand if they want to Bribery me. That.... is not something I would give.

Well of course they will, because otherwise you'll just ban them from EDH. On the broader perspective, I guess then the slippery slope is cheat sheets in general. What if I wanted to play a difficult combo deck but didn't really know how to pilot it? Is writing down the combo acceptable? Or to go into other gaming, they allow you to have a reference sheet for blackjack and other players can some times be glad you use it rather than make noob mistakes which can affect their chances of doing well. Put back into our context, using a reference which makes the game more enjoyable to everyone involved.
For me, if it helps someone who's either new to their deck or recently made a lot of changes to their list speed up their turns, I'm happy to let them do it. If someone borrows a deck from me, I give them the link to the deck list here, which is sorted by CMC so that they'll have an easier time figuring out how to pilot it.
But we run larger games, so speeding up turns helps us get more games in.
I spent the day tattooing my best friend's wife. I've tattooed her arms a few times before but this was right leg under her ass cheek down her thigh to just above her knee. So yeah, I was grabbing onto her ass and hips all day moving her around to get the design in there... sorta awkward
That would seem a bit uncomfortable. At least you weren't on her chest
I'd be more comfortable on her chest. Although it really wasn't that awkward at the time... Just thinking about my head and hands were an inch from business... Oh well, it actually was a lot of fun and I love the girl to death. I think we've known each other for 15ish years.
Across the street from the shop is an American Apparel that gets hit by shoplifters like crazy - it's a massive problem and they can't really do anything since they won't get cameras and can't pursue the thieves. Luckily I can spot the girls doing all the stealing and I just caught them on my cellphone loading their purses, parking illegally, and running a red light. Video has been mailed to AAs corporate office and I'll upload it to YouTube when I get home. So satisfying.

I didn't really have a good sense of physical boundaries as a kid and would be very touchy feely with anyone who would physically interact with me... Not like sexual but just human contact. I got destroyed by people later in life because that desperate need for any physical contact was deemed creepy by other kids. So instead of being comfortable with physical contact I sort of just assume that people will think I'm a creep. Easy solution is to live in a totally defensive stance and avoid touching or looking at people. It's why the Internet is so natural to my being.
Or I just fear being labeled a perv or accused of sexual inappropriateness since that will kill my marriage and career. Easier to be defensive

I am so sorry. This is quite unfortunate. I totally understand, however. Being a man is a challenge. Especially a Caucasian man. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. I think we can all agree that a woman would not have this burden. And as for Chester the Molester stereotypes, despite anyone's ability to violate someone else, how many black folks do we know named "Chester"?
