I was introduced to an awesome bit of independent cinema yesterday: Kung Fury. If you like puns, kung-fu B-flicks, or anything about the 80's in general, you owe it to yourself to watch it. It's on Youtube for free.

My 22nd birthday on tuesday, what do I do? Conspiracy draft then drink all night. Lol
My 23rd's in a couple days and I'm having a medical issue that makes me unable to drink. I'll have to make up for it with more Magic.
Gals is right about the order, btw.
I'm a moron so I'm not sure there's much you can do. My list is still on the first multiplayer page if you want to look but really it just felt so at odds with what I wanted to do that... I don't know. I still want to make a fun UG deck that's not just lame ramp, draw, combo,
Vorel... stax? I don't know, Tangle Wire is a hell of a card.

This isn't really a problem, but it depends on what you want to to do with. My play group isn't entirely too competitive (different players are at different levels) so I can afford to make UGx decks that are not just draw ramp and combo. You might be stuck with that depending on who you play with. Otherwise, you can afford to lower the power level with weaker themes. Apparent power level is also different than actual power level depending on play style.
You said you wanted something that works around the commander, right?

Also, I saw some really sweet Vorel Hydra Tribal Tiny Leaders deck and thought that might be a direction to go too. Really I'm looking for something that builds around +1/+1 and graft.
Well I'm an idiot. I was at a comic store earlier and I went thumbing through random singles since my purchase was under $5. Grabbed a couple of cheap cards and Gate to Phyrexia since I don't actually have one. When I got to the counter the guy said it was $5, and since I didn't actually need one, I put it back. I just checked SCG out of curiosity, and they list it for $10.

So you saved $5 on a card that, while unique, is pretty bad and you don't need.
Actually I've found Gate to be a pretty solid card for EDH, since you can often easily sac a creature and there's not many great ways to deal with enchantments in black.

Rest in RIP My Signature, I guess. 2015-2016, we hardly knew ye.
Total side note but I like how people are discussing running this over itself.
Well, it has to be said that Kolaghan is clearly better than Kolaghan. Considering what BR decks usually want and how stiff the competition in this guild is, there is no way that I would run Kolaghan over Kolaghan! Kolaghan might make it in as the sixth guild card or so. Kolaghan on the other hand ranks several places below that.
It was so funny to me when they described this as a downgrade to the original Zurgo during the Pax East panel. I was thinking if this is a downgrade, they should really "downgrade" all legendary creatures. Haha.
My deck designing is quite concise at this point:
1. Come up with deck idea
2. Realize this idea is somehow fundamentally similar to another deck I have or that is commonly played in my group
3. Decide I don't want to disassemble one of my existing decks
4. Give up and do nothing
I don't see the point of this new shroud mechanic. It's strictly worse than Hexproof. Threshold is pretty bad too, Delirium is a much better mechanic and probably easier to activate.
Otherwise this card is a pretty neat guy. Dodges removal and grows into a Primal Huntbeast. 3/5
So you saved $5 on a card that, while unique, is pretty bad and you don't need.
You won dude.
Mono black artifact hate, yo. Plus the fun of playing an old "what's that card?" card.
I went back to get it, but because my daughter went with me and wanted a comic book, it still cost me $10. Oh well, it was NM so I can always flip it if I want.

Since graft works on you opponent's creatures. You use this to control the board. Then you don't care if it gets wiped, and don't need to over extend.
You can use Rafiq as a wincon, since he becomes lethal really quickly, and as soon as he hits the board with lots of Graft creatures on the field. Roon works as a way to reset the Graft creatures. Derevi could work if you take a theme of "lower power creatures":
I finally start my new job tomorrow and as much I am excited to start a new job I forgot how nerve racking a new job is. oh well lets see how much sleep I get tonight.

Don't forget to wear pants. They frown on that sort of thing when you're new.
Haha yea know I don't think I can forget those but what Im more worried about forgetting is my badge... kinda need it to access my wing of the hospital and to train all my pokemon.
Gals, I thought of you on Saturday when I saw a chick who had a tramp stamp designed around the B symbol. I guess it was supposed to be Liliana's tramp stamp or something.
I thought about getting the esper mana symbols tattooed going down my arm, but then I thought about how stupid it would look if later down the road they hold little meaning to me. Kind of like two of the tattoos I have right now.

Right. I want the deck to be strong but also a very Krajy deck - not just some random UG.Goodstuff.Bull*****.dec. The decks I play against would probably be considered competitive by most people but definitely not 100/100 decks. We are pretty happy in that 80% range. Here's where it was at last night:

I plan on using it just to spite Gals.

This is fairly janky, as it is creature based, but:
Make a Bant colored deck. Include as much graft as you can, and any of these cards:
Since graft works on you opponent's creatures. You use this to control the board. Then you don't care if it gets wiped, and don't need to over extend.

This idea is so janky it's gross. I don't recommend it, but it'd be my take.
They prefer to fight in the shade, but in a pinch snow will work indeed.

Thankfully I closed the tab.
I would be interested to have seen what that 45 minutes would have made. That would have been an impressive post.
