I ended up buying a bunch of blank cards and such and am working on custom monsters. I cant wait for new content. Its sooooooooooooo good.
Most OP characters in my mind are:
1) Rancher (he just doesnt shop shooting and has no low defenses. I have a level 4 who gets 3 shots, three rerolls per turn with a +4 to +5 dmg most of the time with his starter gun. Its sort of dumb)
2) Gunslinger (shooting before combat starts is OP. Someone playing this got the agility number of shots pistol like immediately and was level 5 before some people were lvl 3.)
3) Marshal (his defense values are OP and the auto healing make him about impossible to down)
4) Saloon Girl (high defense and move through figures is really powerful.)
On the flip side... the Law Man seems to be really terrible and the Indian Scout feels like he is lacking on his level up chart. I like the feel of the bandito but his slow initiative ends up meaning that he all too often misses most of combat.
EDIT: Shadows of Brimstone has made me its *****...
I built a mono-green edh. I felt like I needed a shower after a game where I EoT'd into something like 200+ Eldrazi Mounment Insect tokens.
Also, on a side note: Anyone have a dirty EDH stax list? I need to really punish one of my friends who is getting a but cocky about how he can always combo out.
I feel your pain. I just got a Goblin Chieftain for this Grenzo deck and its turning full tribal. It feels wrong, both playing a tribal deck and worse, goblins.
Tribal is a great way to go. However I will give you that it is goblins so it fits into the like 5 tribes I abvoid as tribal (elves, golbins, zombies, merfolk, and soldiers) Try building off the reservation tribal such as 1cmc Tribal or in my case I did spirits tribal and griffin tribal.
... When you guys talked about "drinking monster", I first thought for few seconds was that you guys were drinking blood and wanted to ask if it was good-tasting blood.
Then I realised you are probably talking about energy-drinks and was disappointed.

Also modgaming Bur setups is kind of treading down a dark path
What better way to get energy then by drinking the blood of monsters?
MTG Stuff: I have an Oloro pillow fort deck that plays something like 30 enchentments, but I can never find a good win condition that my play group will tolerate. I used to have Opalescence and Enchanted Evening, they hated that their lands died. Then I tried Aura Thief with EE and they hated that too. Now, I don't have either of those and instead have Enduring Ideal for Dovescape, Humility, and Dictate of Heliod and they still hate it.
Know any interesting wincons for an Esper pillowfort deck? I'd like to avoid "you win" cards like Test of Endurance.
So I played Grenzo last night, and enjoyed it enough to tweak it for next week. Thing is, I got crushed by enchantments (big surprise, I'm r/g). Other than Chaos Warp and Karn PW, any suggestions that won't wreck my board as well?
I ate Chipolte for dinner. This is important because it is off topic.

You know if you post that a third time we close the thread and it's a draw.
Edit: I bought a Tibalt and everyone laughed at me. Help me defend my $2 and prove them wrong. I'm thinking a Jund creature-heavy deck would be the best for him.

Tibalt is bad and no one should ever attempt to defend him.
I will keep trying. Can't you just play a terrible card that doesn't punish you for playing it!?! Why do you make our love so difficult! Why Cryo!?!?!
I think I'll build a Kresh deck. I'd go for Adun Oakenshield for bonus hipster points, but I'm not going to spend $45 in order to redeem a $2 card. I'm dumb, but I'm not an idiot.

Wait...
At least in a feldon deck you can keep reanimating the stuff Tibalt forces you to discard.
Since I'm one of a very few native English speakers around here, the Koreans occasionally bring me a phrase or idiom to explain. This week's was particularly... awkward.
I was brought a piece of paper with "I was so drunk that when I got home, I blew chunks" written on it. That's easy, right? I told him it means vomit. He smiles and nods, then goes back to his seat.
A few minutes later, he comes over, obviously still confused, and shows me the rest of the context. Apparently, it's a joke he printed off the internet to which the punchline is "My dog's name is Chunks."
"What mean blew chunks? What mean he blew dog?"

"[Screw] you and the green you ramped in on." - My EDH battle cry. If I had one. Which I don't.
Guy How have I played magic for 4 years and not known about the card: the brute. Can we talk about the art on this card. I kinda want to throw it into everything. That's all.
Oooh. Europe. Do you already know where you'll be going?
Not yet! I'm not one to plan ahead. Much less fun that way.
In related news - looks like I'll be in Houston on Sunday night. Depending on how transport works out I may be able to run around and play some games, if anyone has a store recommendation...

Yeah, the ranger quickly turns into a one man army.
I wish the Bandido had a higher Init., I have one who is a melee monster with a Void Sword, going down the punching tree, and lucky rolls on level up (Basically LOTS of extra Combat). Last adventure I played with him I mowed down a harbinger and like 5 other things by myself in one turn...I also got the +Armor mutation which helps.
I think a Resolve Marshall that focuses on mutating sounds really fun. I think the Marshall I will make will take Rolling Thunder for the extra Grit though. One shot is brutal in the beginning, but should get better with better weapons. Or you never know, he may end up with two tentacle arms or something.

My Saloon Girl is lvl 6 now. Her current setup is:
Mutation: Bite (extra attack each turn but bad vs void)
Mutation: Extra Limb Tail (allows a third hand essentially)
Weapons:
Dark Stone Blade (crits on 5s / 6s)
Void Blade (+1 Combat / use Peril Dice for dmg)
Tools of Science (Combat = Cunning (I have 5 cunning) with a Dark Stone Grip +1 combat
All in all, it lets me attack 7 times a turn (plus bite) which is fairly good. I have 7 initiative, I move through figures, +3 move, automatic escape.
We actually had to start moving up the difficulty of our encounters. We actually draw from one threat lvl higher than we are now. When we have 5+ people we draw red + green threats together. We once drew our epic threat which cascaded into like 7 cards being drawn and we filled up two map tiles with opponents. The sad part is that two map tiles of opponents really did not pose an issue for us.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I'll be battling today for the first time in some weeks. Considered taking pen and paper with me to record a game or two, then said screw it, I just want to enjoy myself. Since I'll be getting a massage and then eating a Ghost Pepper Philly beforehand, seems likely.

That all sounds like fun. The super spicy Philly intrigues and yet scares me a bit.
