Also 18 lands in my graveyard, which I had sacrificed the previous turn to Squandered Resources, and some number of Plant tokens (from Avenger and Turntimber) and Elemental tokens (from Omnath).
Untap, draw, return 18 lands to play. One of the lands was a fetchland, activate it in response to the Avenger triggers. Two of the lands were Karoos, float 6 mana from City of Traitors and Ancient Tomb (and Regal Behemoth triggers) then bounce them.
Play City of Traitors, float an additional 3 mana, sacrifice to Squandered resources for a 4th. Play Ancient Tomb.
Tap lands for 6 more mana, sacrifice 7 clues (1 floating).
Play Mina and Denn, Wildborn, play 2 Forests. -3 Lord Windgrace to return fetchland and City of Traitors, fetch again.
Finally, cast Pox. At this point I've got a total of 98 creatures, 32 of which are Omnath tokens. I have to sacrifice 33 creatures and 7 lands for 40 permanents total, and I can make all 40 permanents I sacrifice be elementals. For 40 Angry Omnath triggers, after makying each opponent lose 1/3 of their life rounded up. :3
Had some early pitches with Ancient Excavation, putting Consecrated Sphinx and Tidespout Tyrant in yard. Flashbacked Ancient Excavation for 4, got threshold for Stitch Together and reanimated Sphinx. Next turn did the same with Tyrant, with no repercussions. I had permission in hand and mana open anyway. Clocked away a couple of turns keeping threats off the board, and then Kaalia has a big turn, playing Rune-Scarred Demon, searching up Lord of the Void, swings with Kaalia, Lord, Utvara Hellkite and associated tokens and Aegis Angel - some at me, some at Mizzix. I take 22, but I Cyclonic Rift his Lord, and Tyrant his Kaalia to hand. He chooses it to stay there.
On Mizzix's turn I draw into Archfiend of Ifnir and Whispering Madness, wait the turn out then play Archfiend followed by Madness for 7. It shreds the board, and Kaalia goes to graveyard. I Cipher Madness to Tyrant, go to combat phase, everyone sweeps immediately. It felt mean, but sometimes it all just comes together. I could've kept getting meaner anyway, as it was at the point that Tyrant was going to start bouncing lands, and I also had Tendrils of Agony in hand.
Game goes along, I'm durdling because all of my decks are upgraded vs budget/what's available, and I want to see how it handles in a long multiplayer game. Game's going around in circles a bit, until my wife hits Genesis Wave for X = 8. I know, not impressive...except I point out to her(she's still learning the deck) that she has a Regrowth in hand, and she can take back Genesis Wave to her hand...which she does gleefully.
Next turn, she casts G-Wave again for X = 14. Did I mention both times, she didn't miss more than two cards? Worst part was, this last G-Wave netted her Oran-Rief Hydra and seven lands...five of which were Forests.
Luckily, she held some stuff back, because Varina cast a boardwipe on his turn. Unfortunately, to his chagrin and scooping, she had enough mana to save four of her elves, thanks to Ezuri, Renegade Leader. So, now it's down to me and her.
She goes nuts now, and casts a bunch of guys, even adding insult to injury by having Nissa bring in a 4/4. My turn, I cast Merciless Eviction, obviously naming creatures. So, the board consists of me with lands, the Solemnity/Decree of Silence lock and a few artifacts that combo with Merieke, and her with lands...and Lifeforce and Nissa at 2 loyalty.
Five turns later, she got Nissa to ult, and I did not have enough to do anything about it. >.<
My biggest clue should have been when she won that GP playmat in the LGS raffle today. lol
% player game with extra rule sin place (Can only attack players directly next to you. You may attack other players by paying one extra mana for each creature attacking that player.
Same goes for spells (Universal effects everyone, Target can only target players next to you (or spells they play or permanents they control) unless you pay 1 extra)
If you eliminate a player, you have hexproof and cannot be attacked until your next upkeep (Kind of a grace period type thing)
Everything else is the same.
So We are going for a while, i manage to mill out a player next to me with oona, queen of the fae. I have about 50 creatures now. (No one has a board wipe which is making me feel very comfortable. (Also since the fifth player is eliminated, so i am safe, and we are now down to 4 (So the altered rules (Aside form the cannot be attacked, but that rule leaves once it is my upkeep again) are gone, no more extra mana to attack the guy not next to you.)
So, they go around and it's a Lands deck player's turn (He was using Genju of the realm. (He also has Cromat just in case there is a problem with Genju)
Anyway he has Gaea's cradle, (this will be my key to winning). He also has Nature's revolt and then equips cradle with Helm of the Host, that was his mistake. Thanks to the token, he now has a NON LEGENDARY cradle. He cannot attack me and the other two are not threats, end of turn a guy Beast withins Nature's revolt (i do not know why) But it helps. I then pay 2 to turn my thespian's stage into a non legendary gaea's cradle.
I draw Vesuva. I already have Amulet of vigor out, so play vesuva and copy cradle. I mill out one player with my 50 creatures and one cradle. I then mill out Lands player with my other cradle and now like 100 creatures. One player left.
He draws Supreme Verdict. i tell him to scoop, he says no and Plays verdict.
I again tell him to scoop and he starts laughing thinking because he got an uncounterable board wipe he will neutralize me. While i managed to mill two players in one turn, i still have a LOT of blue mana open.
I flash in Vendilion Clique, he does not respond, I put the ability on the stack. I tell him to once again scoop, he says no.
I play Venser, Shaper Savant I get yelled at as I begin laughing.
he scoops.
The next game the tell me not to play because they hate combo decks. I calmly explain it was not combo. I managed to mill a player out and then lands deck guy gave me the key to victory by making a gaea's cradle clone.
But i agree to change decks. I play My Battlecruiser dragons and wipe them out quickly. (Good opening hand and kept drawing into cards I needed. They get angry again for combo, (Dragons has literally no combo, it is literally dragons turning sideways.
So i am a little tired of them whining about combo when i am not playing combo. So Since i do not plan to play with these crybabies again. I decide to pull out my combo deck. Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain. the abolish the cannot attack player X rule. They want to go 4v1. fine, i know their plan, i have seen it before. I have been on the receiving end of people going 3v1 against me many times in the past, and we have a player i play against often who goes 3v1 as well (and still wins.)
so since they abolished that rule, I know what is about to happen. 4v1
I have first two turn not so eventful, i do play my general and get a few rocks and lands out. Nothing special. Draw into Mana severance and i proceed to win. i then smile and say
"THAT, is a combo deck."
they left the store, i don't expect to see them again. (and none of this oh my decks were much stronger than theirs bullcrap (their decks were more expensive than mine (Well dragons has all 10 original duals so that is the money, but doesn't make the deck CEDH by any means.. While oona can combo, i did not combo with her. Dragons cannot combo and i decided to show them what combo is.
If i see them again, I will avoid playing with them if I can. But chances are they will never allow me to join them again anyway.
One final note, while lands deck was not the best tuned deck there and yes, he probably was the least threatening player there. His deck was foiled out. I think he even built it so if he was unable to get a foil copy of the card, he did not run it. i have to give him credit for that.
A for power, i say the decks were all optimized. i was just lucky.
I played Chaos Wand, and a bit later cast Planar Bridge, with enough mana open to activate both. Elenda tries to Anguished Unmaking my Bridge, so I Bridge in Paradox Engine and Chaos Wand Elenda. The Engine trigger untaps enough mana to activate Bridge again, and activating Bridge lets me get a mana rock to give me enough to activate Wand again. I go off, Chaos Wanding both of my opponents over and over, generating stupid amounts of mana (and at one point hitting Imp's Mischief from Elenda to redirect his Anguished Unmaking), gaining life (one of my mana rocks is Pristine Talisman), and getting all my permanents I care to have in play (including more mana rocks so the amount of mana I'm generating per loop increases). Eventually, I permit Elenda to pass the turn to me.
I've got every single one of my creatures in play, all without summoning sickness except Baleful Strix and Solemn Simulacrum (reanimated on my upkeep by Gonti's Rescue from the Underworld). Gonti and Elenda have no creatures, thanks to the various spells I cast while going off on Elenda's turn. Gonti is at 26, Elenda is at 33. I swing at Gonti with Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Oloro for exactly lethal, and I swing at Elenda with everything else to set him to 2. I tap Pristine Talisman to make him go down to 1, drawing Debt to the Deathless. Cast Debt for X=1.
My opponents are a Dralnu mill deck and a Teferi(creature) chaos deck.
The game continues from there and I lose both commanders and my Viscera Seer now has 16 counters on it and I have recast Reyhan who has 3.
The Teferi player plays a Forced Fruition and goes to end turn (Teferi is not in play) the Dralnu player casts a Mystical Tutor and draws 7 Cards, I respond to that by activating Survival pitching a Master Biomancer and then reanimating it with Atzal to remove the Forced Fruition
I Survival the Image into a Walking Ballista and cast it for free, the Dralnu player goes to Rewind it, I respond by Sacrificing the Seer to move all the counters to the Biomancer and then I flash in a Snapcaster Mage using the Mindbreak Trap to stop the rewind. The Ballista resolves with 18 counters on it
Opponent B has just played Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Then he passes the turn. On my turn, I decide I'll take advantage of the doubled damage and attack Opponent A with a 7/7 for 14 damage, then deal with Gisela postcombat. (I only have sorcery speed removal for her at the time.)
Go to attack. Opponent A plays Deflecting Palm, preventing the damage then throwing it back in my face, redoubled to 28.
Three times last night I tapped out to cast a spell, the mono-blue player used a "counter target spell unless its controller pays 1" effect (Daze, etc.) on me thinking it would hard-counter the spell, and I sacrificed a land to Squandered Resources to pay the additional cost. On-board tricks, too strong.
He rationalized it by joking he was playing mono-blue land destruction, but every single land I sacrificed (including the five I sacrificed to Keldon Firebombers and the four I sacrificed to Pox) up until the end of the game got back into play. Almost as though I built my deck to break the symmetry of those effects.
The big one was the game end, though. Tuvasa and I are both sitting on mana doublers (Mirari's Wake and Caged Sun, respectively). Roon was getting low on cards and tapped out so I decided to go for the mill kill by chaining wheels together. Cast Wheel of Fortune, which forces Tuvasa to fire off Open the Vaults and packs both mine and her board with artifacts and enchantments, including a Memory Jar to go along with my Rings of Brighthearth. I pop the Jar and copy the activation. First resolves and draws Tuvasa into Approach of the Second Sun. She casts that, then the second Jar activation resolves and puts it right back into her hand to win the game.
Perfectly bizarre EDH win to cap off a very long (but entertaining) game.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I have an endgame route ready to go with Havengul Lich, a fewof myzombie anthems, Grimace and Thrax against my opponents(plan was to attack with Grim and Thrax, sac Thrax after combat to Grim to untap him, use Lich to bring Thrax back, etc). In a fit of derpiness, I attack Windgrace with the Lich, who promptly takes advantage to kill him. Nissa is able to hold me off because of a bootedTajuru Preserver and ways to keep elves coming in.
Windgrace and Nissa are building, while I'm trying to hold on to what I have while I can; thankfully, all of us are in defense mode at the moment. Windgrace decides to cast Xantcha to stall me out some more.
My turn, I topdeck mini-Lili, laugh, cast her, sac Xantcha to Grimgrin, and flip Lili. A few turns later, I use her -X to get Lich out of the graveyard, and start swinging for the fences to win.
Really, it was primarily funny because Windgrace was watching me build Grim with the sacs, and he somehow completely forgot when casting Xantcha. Getting Liliana from the topdeck was just icing.
Should I do something about it? Naah, just pass turn.
Opponent predictably attacks with Gilder Bairn then activates the ability to double Venser's counters. My response: flash in In Bolas's Clutches to steal Venser, who still gets the counters but on my side of the field instead.
I took my Ramos Spellslinger deck out for a spin against my friends Tasigur deck. He was able to ult Kiora, the Crashing Wave and he hit me once with a Kraken then got a second one. I had Ramos in play at 4 +1/+1 counters, but I couldn't attack as he used Kiora's +1 to stop his damage. I had Increasing Ambition in my graveyard, Arcane Melee and Primal Wellspring in play. I flashback the Ambition to go get Rude Awakening and Rite of Replication. I use the Wellspring to help cast Rude Awakening entwined and get a copy of it, netting me a lot of mana, two of which is the Wellspring mana. I use both to help cast the Rite kicked, targeting my temporary creature Primal Wellspring, getting a total of 15 of them. Use two of that mana to help cast Rishkar's Expertise drawing 42 cards from my deck and casting two creatures that make tokens when casting instant and sorcery spells. I had drawn Doubling Season and Tamiyo, Field Researcher, then used Ramos to cast them and ult Tamiyo. From here I used Conflux to find Regrowth, Mastermind's Acquisition, Thousand-Year Storm, and one other card that didn't matter at the time. I played the Storm, cast the Acquisition to get a bunch of cards from my sideboard, which people are fine with, mostly grabbing Opalescence and Comet Storm. I then used Regrowth to basically get my graveyard back to my hand, Rite of Replication included. I cast Opalescence, then Rite of Replication kicked on my Thousand-Year Storm, for 75 copies of it, 76 total. I cast Comet Storm with the rest of my mana, which was X equaling 8, 6 of which was Primal Wellspring mana. This gave me a grand total of 756 Comet Storms at his face, which was 6,048 damage.
Me: Turn Transreliquat into a Relic until EOT, tap to add a charge counter. Repeat three times over the course of several turns
Me: Turn Transreliquat into a Cornucopia permanently, with three charge counters so it taps for 3.
Build-your-own Gilded Lotus!
(I was originally going to do this with my opponent's Gemstone Array, but he animated it with Karn and sacrificed it to my Thraximundar that was trying to make Karn ded before I could do it.)
Another game:
T1: Land, Voltaic Key
T2: Land, Doubling Cube
T3: Land
T4+: Get mana screwed, taking several turns to hit a 4th mana, and then several more for a 5th.
Eventually, I got Crystal Ball, and started srcying repeatedly. Then I got Rings of Brighthearth, but all I could do was even more scrying. Then, finally, I hit 10 mana, and nobody had destroyed any of my stuff.
Float 10, pay 3 to double to 14 with Cube. Pay 1 to untap with Key, and 2 more with Rings to also untap Key. Back to the start, with 11 mana floating. Produce all the mana I want, cast Goblin Charbelcher for the win.
P1 has kresh the bloodbraided in play. He gets into combat and stuff dies. I (p4) try to cast gang up with help from P3 to kill it in response. P3 refuses for some reason, and P2 is tapped out. Kresh becomes a 16/16 or so.
Next turn, P1 casts blasphemous act, killing everything except Kresh. Kresh becomes a 72/72. I'm feeling pretty clever hiding behind a kor haven. P1 then attacks P3 with Kresh. P3 casts entrapment maneuver. So much for my kor haven.
P2 casts diluvian primordial, targeting blasty act, and the world returns to sanity.
Played my slow-burn Atraxa last night (no stax, no infect, only 8 planeswalkers - not too sick). Other players were Yidris (Thousand-Year Storm/Chaos effects), Goreclaw big beefy ramp, Saskia big beefy ramp, and Seizan the Perverted (sort of a mono-black Nekusar-type deck that makes you draw and discard tons of cards and wins through Underworld Dreams/Painful Quandary/Megrim effects.
The Saskia guy ramps up early due to Exploration plus Howling Mine and Seizan giving us extra cards. I counter his Ulvenwald Hydra and he plays Saskia targeting me.
Yidris casts Wild Evocation so we're all getting extra plays. Goreclaw gets Ghalta off of Wild Evocation, so Saskia's focus thankfully shifts to the Goreclaw player. Saskia then uses Dragonlord Dromoka to fly over Goreclaw to smash (of course I take damage from this as well). He keeps back some blockers like Sun Titan, a big Scavenging Ooze, and Saskia, confident that he can deter Ghalta with deathtouch (he has a Vault of the Archangel in play).
Yidris then plays Void Winnower and we all facepalm. Goreclaw gets Worldspine Wurm from Wild Evocation. He does something to get haste, something else to boost power/toughness, and kills Saskia in one turn since Saskia's blockers are all even-numbered casting costs.
On my turn, Wild Evocation gives me In Garruk's Wake so everyone loses all their creatures but now Goreclaw has three 5/5 trampling tokens. I play Doubling Season then Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and do the ultimate (I had Mana Reflection out). Now every time I draw a card I can exile a permanent. Yidris casts Knowledge Pool ("it's cool, no Teferi hard lock" he says). Goreclaw plays Nylea and hits me with all three 5/5 Wurms plus a little boost from Nylea. I lose all blockers and go to 13 life.
On my turn, Howling Mine lets me exile Nylea and whatever Goreclaw's haste enabler was (Concordant Crossroads?). I cast something and get a Consuming Aberration from the Knowledge Pool. I cast Pernicious Deed and grab Lurking Predators from the Pool. I cast Astral Cornucopia for free and grab Deed. Now I can Deed Goreclaw's tokens for zero mana if he swings on me again. After casting all this, the Aberration triggers have made my opponents' graveyards pretty big.
Yidris casts something - Lurking Predators trigger...DISCIPLE OF BOLAS off the top! I sac the Aberration, gain 57 life and draw 57 cards. The Teferi emblem exiles everyone's permanents including all lands. I have about 10 cards left in my library. The other guys don't concede since they don't believe I can kill them before I deck out. I play Tamiyo Field Researcher and gain the "Omniscience" emblem, then drop my hand of 60 cards such as Avacyn, Shalai, Necropolis Regent, Loyal Guardian, Kalonian Hydra, Sheoldred and Villainous Wealth, plus I remind them Doubling Season is out. THEN they concede....
So we're all durdling along, partly because people are keeping a good eye out on Vorel(he got some guys out with counters pretty fast, but they died before Vorel could do anything), and partly because the guy who borrowed Merieke wasn't sure what the gameplan was beyond steal, and Nissa was trying to get stuff. I was stuck in a mana drought, which I managed to get through by clamping my extra dudes from casting spells.
Anyway, we start to get in a good spot where things are going to happen; I'd been hitting Blood Artist triggers with my dudes being clamped, and it's kept me happy. Everyone has a significant board state, Merieke is eyeballing Vorel's board for another steal, and then I go for a massive swing spell-wise: I send Yahenni, Undying Partisan over at Nissa with FaF to get through her blockers for the untap trigger. Untap all my lands after having cast some vampires in pre-combat. Tap them all down again to bring out Exquisite Blood and then Malakir Bloodwitch. Ten vampires on my board, which comes out to 10 loss of life to each opponent, and 60 total lifegain for me(I'm now at 105 life).
Vorel is annoyed that he has no way to power his army through my chumps(and isn't keen on getting pinged by Blood Artist AND Falkenrath Noble), so he mitigates the damage to come by casting Acidic Slime to kill my Exquisite Blood. Completely legit.
Merieke then decides the boards of everyone else are getting too scary, so he casts Supreme Verdict, giving me 54 life-loss/lifegain triggers total from Noble and Artist. This is after saccing one chump to Yahenni to keep him on the field, who then sees all the other creatures die on my opponent's sides and goes Super Saiyan.
Take everyone down to around 10 life, gain 54(now at 159 life), and just wait for my next turn, where Yahenni swats Vorel down, while Edgar chops down Merieke, and at that point, "GG" was called.
I'm scared to see how well it will work when I get a Necropotence...

I had Ishai in play with 13 counters, Reyhan in play with 3, a Viscera Seer a Survival of the Fittest and a flipped Atzal, Cave of Eternity, an Aura Shards and some mana an Exploration and whatever.
It becomes my turn and there is a Howling Mine in play so I draw a Phantasmal Image and a Land
The Ballista resolves with 18 counters on it
I then cast a Yawgmoth's Will Reanimate on the Phantasmal Image as a Master Biomancer and then cast the Seer back from the graveyard with 38 counters on it.
I had to pass the turn to allow the YawgWill effect to wear off but the game ended shortly after that with all those counters.
Go to attack. Opponent A plays Deflecting Palm, preventing the damage then throwing it back in my face, redoubled to 28.
Congratulations. I played myself.

Perfectly bizarre EDH win to cap off a very long (but entertaining) game.
I have an endgame route ready to go with Havengul Lich, a few of my zombie anthems, Grimace and Thrax against my opponents(plan was to attack with Grim and Thrax, sac Thrax after combat to Grim to untap him, use Lich to bring Thrax back, etc). In a fit of derpiness, I attack Windgrace with the Lich, who promptly takes advantage to kill him. Nissa is able to hold me off because of a booted Tajuru Preserver and ways to keep elves coming in.

Playing Tuvasa the Sunlit vs Atraxa, Praetors' Voice superfriends. I start the game with Leyline of Anticipation in play.
Opponent brings out Narset Transcendent and Venser, the Sojourner along with a Gilder Bairn, ready to double and ultimate one of them next turn.
Should I do something about it? Naah, just pass turn.
Opponent predictably attacks with Gilder Bairn then activates the ability to double Venser's counters. My response: flash in In Bolas's Clutches to steal Venser, who still gets the counters but on my side of the field instead.
My next turn, ultimate and proceed to win.

Me: Coalition Relic, Mizzium Transreliquat
Opponent: Astral Cornucopia

Later on, got to live the dream with Thrasios/Ikra when I stuck Underrealm Lich and Sylvan Library. Went through most of my deck and narrowly lost to Iroas, God of Victory, Fervent Charge, and double strikers despite having 18 worms on board thanks to Worm Harvest and countermagic in hand.
So, I decided tonight was the night to test all the adjustments made to my Edgar Markov deck. I'm squaring off against mini-Nissa, Merieke Ri Berit(my own deck, borrowed by a friend), and Vorel of the Hull Clade.

I have an Azorius Signet, and one of each color of basic, I cast an Academy Rector and pass the turn.
The Queen Marchesa go wide player swings at both me and the Teshar player with both Honor of the Pure and Crusade down.
I take a bunch of damage trade with another creature to kill the Rector and put Thousand-Year Storm into play
The Teshar player taps out playing a mountain of artifacts and feels like they are about to go off.
I cast
1 Mystical Tutor for High Tide
2 Frantic Search's
cast and break Expedition Map for a second land with Island on the type line that comes into play untapped
3 High Tide's
4 Brass's Bounty's
5 Mind's Desire's for 10 flips (nothing that remarkable hit here actually kinda sad)
6 Time Spiral's
7 Brainstorm's (off of the first new hand from Time Spiral
