Druid's Repository just earned its slot in Edric. Dropped it turn 4, swung with 3 creatures to pay for itself and dropped two more dorks. Won on turn 6 with time magic and the Repository adding ~8 mana. On the extra turn it was more than twice that with Kessig Cagebreaker tokens from the previous turn. Total blowout.
Late game - Iwas playing my Nin, the Pain Artist "whats yours is mine" deck. My opponant casts Precusor Golem. My turn, I can Rite of Replication, getting 25 3/3 golems, then Icast Traitorous Insinct, gaining control of all golems, and giving them+2+0 and hase ueot. Swing for 140 damage, game over.
I was playing Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer, late game. I had Slobad, Nim Deathmantle, Solemn Simulacrum, Caged Sun (red), lots of mana, and an active Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. I sacced Simulacrm to Slobad, tapped two red sourced to activate the Deathmantle, and continued to dothis for two tuns, machine gunning every basic mountain out of my deck for three damage each, killing the two remainng oppnents.
Made my first actual "crazy play" tonight (I don't count G-Wave/Exsanguinate for 50 as a crazy play)! I just moved to Austin, and have been checking out different shops. Tonight I checked out Pat's Games, and it's the best card shop I've ever been to. After picking up a few singles for my deck, I managed to meet a few guys there that played EDH and we ended up in a 4-man Planeschase EDH match.
I'm holding a Knowledge Exploitation, Hinder, have plenty of mana, and have Laboratory Maniac sitting in my graveyard. We ended up on the plane that lets you sacrifice a creature during your upkeep to top deck until you get a creature, and put it into play. So as it came to me, I topped, saw Leveler, and put him on top. I used the Plane's ability, and dropped Leveler, removing my library from the game. Lay down Knowledge Exploitation, the other blue player lets it go. Pull the Golgari player's Reanimate, and raise my Laboratory Maniac, blue player lets it go. I pop my top, he taps out to Capsize in response, and I Hinder it. BOOM, BABY.

Did you mean Reanimate? Entomb wouldn't work if Leveler came out.

By now I'm kinda used to the crazy plays coming out of Norin but just now I had a game on MTGO that simply exploded when Norin cast Warp World and the R/G player Reverberated it, hit Eternal Witness and Reverberated again. Not crazy enough yet? What about Norin hitting Genesis Chamber and Confusion in the Ranks? About 465783 triggers hit the stack and we decide it's better to concede than to sort through this mess a possible 3 times or more...
Real men live with his triggers, regardless of the time or effort involved.
Todd is already eliminated. I'm at 9, Michael and Keith are at 7 with 6 dudes each. If I don't do anything, Keith kills us both. Playing Karador, I have Netherborn Phalanx and Restoration Angel in the graveyard and Kokusho, the Evening Star and Reveillark in hand. I have no sac outlets, or it'd be easy.
I stare at it for quite a while. I know I need to get Phalanx into play twice--if I only had that sac outlet! I keep on focusing on that point. Just when I was about to give up, I figure it out. I Evoke Reveillark to get back Phalanx. I think use Karador's ability to cast Resto Angel out of the yard to blink him. Win! None of the guys at the table saw it either, but I was still embarrassed that it took me so long to get around to it.
4-way battle: Karador, Karador 2, Ghave and Riku (me). The board is empty apart from tons of lands, a bunch of Hunting Pack tokens and my Leyline of Anticipation. So, Ghave decides to play Army of the Damned. I see my chance, flash in Riku and double-Twincast. Zombies happen. Karador grins and drops Gideon Jura, who immediately goes 'Riku, HIT ME!'
No, I didn't find bounce or burn for Gideon, so I turned sideways (26 zombies, 6 beasts, Riku), resulting in the most excessively killed 'walker in my entire EDH history.

I love situations like that, when it's "win now or lose!" My friends and I refer to those moments as Duel of the Planeswalkers moments.

I had one of these today. Unfortunately I realized I missed it after I passed turn.
I was playing my Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord deck. I had wurmcoil engine, a few other creatures, and a birthing pod. In my hand I had about 15 power in creatures and 10 cards. Someone had a tabernacle out. What I could have done was not payed for anything but wurmcoil, then cast Jarad. Ending my turn I'd have discarded all the creatures, birthing podded wurmcoil to get sutured ghoul for about 25 power, then sacrificed Suture ghoul with Jarad killing everyone else.
The rest of the turn proceeded and we later discovered that every single one of us could have killed the table on our turn, but of course only one player saw that they could and won with it.
Well, pod is sorcery speed only. That would require you to be able to pod after discarding, which you can't without an outlet (other than clean up), right? Not to nitpick (well a little, it's fun to in these threads :P), but at least you may not have missed the kill, hehe (unless I'm misunderstanding- maybe all you needed was the upkeep sac from tabernacle? looks like you needed to discard creatures down to 7 in cleanup).

I think he meant to sacrifice the creatures, not discard them.

It's possible, I edited that in as a maybe. He mentioned having 10 cards in hand and 15 power of creatures in hand, and discarding at end of turn though (tabernacle is upkeep and he mentions that separately). Hard to say really. Trying to get my fix of edh in here, haven't played much lately.

You're right. I think I did have enough power already in my graveyard at the time though, but it's less of a sure bet because I don't remember exactly what I had. I know that a turn earlier I definitely could have done it because that was before Doomgape and Hydra Omnivore got exiled from my graveyard.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
Today was my first day of playing EDH. I was running Mono Black Korlash. One of my opponents targeted me with Telemin Performance and proceeded to flip into Phage the Untouchable. This made my day, lol!
I had an amazing hand for my arcum dagsson deck the other day.
Turn 1: laid an island. Tapped it for no reason. Scratched myself.
Turn 2: mana crypt -> tap, laid an island -> tapped both to cast grim monolith and power artifact for infinite mana.
Casted memory jar, used it, ending up with a bunch of great blue cards that I couldn't cast and a planar portal. Used the portal to fetch me a clock of omens.
I casted the clock and tapped it and grim monolith to untap planar portal, then used the portal to fetch basalt monolith. With the 2 monoliths, clock of omens, and infinite mana in my pool I was able to use my planar portal endlessly to fetch whatever I wanted - starting with mycosynth lattice so I could cast it all. I had a few options to go with to kill everyone, but I decided on sands of delirium, a sculpting steel to clone it, and rings of brighthearth to make each effect happen twice.
Everyone had their decks shuffled up for the next game by the time that happened.
Screenshot should speak for itself. The cards to the right are what was on top of the libraries. Needless to say, this one wasn't going to end anytime soon.

A mere ten days after the Mending, a young knight of Valeron and a young ranger of Eos made a discovery that would change Alara forever.

Glad to hear that your first EDH experience was a good one. The upside of the game—like making good friends or seeing cool plays—make the format second to none for me. That must have been a heck of a sight to see, heh.
The best part about EDH for me are the turnabouts that can happen. I'm playing my Ghave deck against a Glissa, the Traitor Elf tribal. He uses Soul of the Harvest with Elvish Archdruid and Heritage Druid to flood his field with elves, and I am assuredly dead, having been able to do nothing but ramp up until this point. Luckily, the ramping was enough to allow me to flashback an Increasing Ambition to find and cast day of Judgement and then bring the game back. It was a lot of fun.

This is more of a running gag rather than a crazy play but here goes. One of my opponent had a turn 1 Dark Ritual, Necropotence which prompts another opponent to say, "Hey, remember the last time you did that, somebody played Pithi...." just as I started laughing while flashing a pithing needle to the entire table

I had one a couple days ago. Me with The Mimeoplasm, two other players with Garza Zol, Plague Queen and Brion Stoutarm. A small army of Faultgrinders had dropped me to three lands early on, and I hadn't drawn another land since. I had managed to get two more down with a Farhaven Elf and an Eternal Witness returning a destroyed land while the other two duked it out, and had just untapped with a Riptide Shapeshifter in play. GZ untaps, drops a land and goes up to 14 mana available, Diabolic Tutors for Time Stretch, and prepares for two extra turns. I stop at the end of his turn and ask if anyone has removal. GZ thinks I mean for whatever he's going to play on his extra turns. I didn't.
I sac the Shapeshifter naming Sphinx, and flip up to the only sphinx in my deck: Chancellor of the Spires. I prepare to make infinite sphinxes with the Rite of Rep and then take my own two extra turns with Time Stretch...
... and then Brion Flash Conscriptions my sphinx in response and throws it at me. Oh well. GZ drops Mindleech Mass, hits me and plays the Deadeye Navigator from my hand, and proceeds to blink his Mnemonic Wall repeatedly for infinite turns with Stretch. : /
