I think they are homemade tokens made by wiping foils.

Some sets are much easier to scrub than others. To wit, premium pack SoA block cards will clean up crazy easy and old Mirrodin cards are damn near impossible.
The trick would be not damaging the border or mana symbol, which I didn't manage last time I tried.
Here's my fully foiled as pimp as I can afford (without BB V. Islands, Timetwister, Forcefield, etc) Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind EDH deck. That and I cannot seem to get my hands on a foil Command Tower... It is SO much fun to play!!!!
That deck looks awesome to play! Props for NOT playing Curiosity, for actually having a real Timetwister, and your Clone is classy too.
Only thing that bothers me is why no Ravnica basics?

Used a scanner this time so the pics should be better quality. Here's my 98% Foil Kiki-Jiki EDH deck! Still a work in progress - missing a sol ring, bloodstained mire, and could use some upgrades from FNM/FTV to originals but I still like it

To tell the truth, I picked the Islands I had the most foils of in my collection. The Mountains, however, I think are some of the most beautiful in the game and I actively searched for them.

Haven't decided which plains art I want to use in the Obzedat deck yet though, thoughts? I'm quite partial to the foil Zendikar lands but I think the 1999 arena plains would match the swamps quite nicely. Also considering switching the foil Zen islands in Thada with arena misprints but I'm not sure how long it would take to find another 30...

I must get myself a foil Quicksilver Amulet. It looks awesome. Nice altering on the mountain valley btw.

The basics are from all different sets, that I wiped with acetone, leaving just the border and symbol.
