He also said Red's drawing would cost more because they are still testing waters in it's power level. Now, I'll agree that enchantment costs waaayyyy too much, but I also don't want to see Red turn into another Green with how strong its draw can be.
He did say that, didn't he.
I guess we'reI'm just hungry for some EDH applications of this new world of red draw. Like the best new card we've gotten for this so far is Rummaging Goblin. I think we can do better than that. I agree with you that green has it a little too easy now and unfortunately we can't fix that, so maybe it's ok that red's draw gets a little better to keep the balance there (well, for this format anyway), as long as they don't go too far.

Balancing for EDH is like balancing for Legacy. It would kill magic. What we CAN hope for is that now that "rummaging" is in red's pie the designers of the Commander/Planechase products will give something that could normally not be printed for power concerns. They've already shown they are willing to with Baleful Strix/Shardless agent.
Red could use a boost in draw and green could use a touch of a decrease in my humble opinion. Oh and white should continue to have none.
I'm hoping that Bloodrush isn't limited to 3 mana - this pretty much stops it from being printable on a 1-2 mana creature that's at all effective, which more or less removes its constructed playability.
I don't see it being viable in EDH either way.
Also, Tin Street Market as a rare could have easily cost 1R. compare to Compulsion, which doesn't get you 2-for-1'd by LD, can sac itself to draw a card, and can be activated multiple times per turn.
Bloodrush is a decent combat trick. The land guy can be a surprise commander kill, and if they make a trample one, it can be decent. I wish you could use the First Strike one on blockers though. eh.
Tin Street is simply insulting. I think it could have cost 3 at uncommon.

I do wish we'd stop calling it draw though. It's loot/filtration until you cheat with it. And it's bad loot/filtration. Thank god red finally gets something, but it's not card advantage, and it's card quality on odds only.
You need to cheat it to make it card advantage, with some of red's card self returns, or artifact ability copying. Even then, it's technically the other card that gives you advantage.

I was hoping when I saw the art that Deathpact Angel had either an ETB effect like Angel of Despair or at the very lest Extort. I might still run her in Kaalia because of the recursion but I'm still on the fence about it.

I think Kaalia can do a lot better than a vanilla 5/5 flier who comes back for 6.

I personally like mad prophet more for the haste so it automatically gives some value.
That may have been their thought. A 2 mana aura would make it a harder to kill rummaging goblin.
A 3 cost aura would put it on par (4 lands tapped to use same turn, but protection from creature kill).
5 though is still stupid I think, that's 6 lands tapped to use it the same turn. I seriously believe this card was designed to fill a niche in limited, due to it's cost and rarity.

Deathpact Angel will be going straight into my Vish Kal deck, that much is obvious. A creature that can essentially resurrect itself plays nicely with a general that can eat creatures and use them as removal. Also works nicely with edict effects.
If they had made the discard on Tin Street Market part of the effect instead of part of the cost, everything would have been fine. I read Dangerous Wager as putting Drowned Rusalka into red's section of the pie. We need more of that stuff.
Can anyone really call themselves an edh player if they don't immediately want 5 copies of bracers? I want one for Kraj, and I'm tempted to put Kiki back together. I'm sure I could find some use for the rest. It might as well be called Bracers of EDH.

I wish. Wizards is just super scared to give red anything remotely resembling effective card draw.

It should never happen because Red and Blue are different colors.

It will enable infinite mana with the monoliths and mana vault.
Illusionist's Bracers are pretty sweet. No idea what deck I could or would use them in, but I'd be happy to pull a copy.
Deathpact Angel - Saw the text last night, went "huh, that's kinda cool." Saw the art this morning, went ":o holy eff. WANT."

As they give a wheel effect to black.

also the bracers say not mana abilities, and nothing would go infinite with mana vault since you have to wait until upkeep to untap it.

Nor would I. At that CMC, you're wanting something that has more impact on the game state than that card.
Should be CMC 3. Solidly playable then.
I know. Why can't she be better!!!! I might just have to collect this one for the art and leave it at that
/S_E is sitting at owning ~60% of all the separate angels so far.
