I am thinking Enchantress (good with constellation), landfall, or I guess just your traditional creature based ETB deck.
I like it also for my Tainted Aether deck, should I ever find a 5 colour general that fits the bill.
Of all the legends revealed so far, this is the most disappointing. It's especially powerful in the colors of blink/reanimation/bounce and not as limiting as Kaalia, but also very unimaginative.

What does it have to do with Kaalia? Why is it disappointing?
I think it is a good idea for a legendary creature. I like that they made it trigger for any permanent.
I agree. This looks like the most fun Sultai general they have printed (though, the bar isn't very high). It is not locked into any specific strategy but can still give something to build around.
I am already starting work on a build of this as Sultai is likely my favorite 3-color combination (maybe tied with Abzan) but I just don't like the generals for it.
Cavalier of Dawn seems like a new format staple to me, although the dies trigger is a little random on it lol. It gives white decks without black a consistent, reusable way to get rid of planeswalkers without having to spend 7 mana for Meteor Golem. Definitely going in my Derevi deck.
Yarok, the Desecrated seems very good of course, but as others have said, kind of unimaginative. It's going to be one of those commanders where the deck doesn't really care about whether it's in play or not, but when it is it's even more powerful.
Yeah, Yarok, the Desecrated isn’t the most imaginative legend ever, but still seems fun enough without having one really obvious build path. If I can grab a copy I might give it a whirl, as I’ve never really built Sultai and I’m not overly crazy about the existing generals in the wedge.
New green Leyline seems cool without being a lock in every green deck ever. Seems made for Rishkar, Peema Renegade. Nice to see a reprint of scry lands too. Not the most sought after dual lands obviously, but handy nonetheless.

I explained it. Yarok is unimaginative, repetitive, and abusable. It could build itself without players' own personality, which is the worst kind of commander. A well designed legend, or should I say, a well designed CARD encourages players to think and accommodate the shortcoming, turning weakness to strength, like a sniper rifle. A badly designed card is like a missile where you could cause great damage even without aiming, victory without style.
I mentioned Kaalia because even though she only fetches three type of creatures, she also encourages people to ponder on how to best use her compare to her first iteration. You can still use big beaters, but perhaps smaller angel/dragon/demon would suit V.2 better, allowing you to keep up the pressure without losing cards in hand. You'd also have to ponder about the ratio of creatures/spells, how to reuse her ability, and perhaps voltron is a good alternative etc, there's a lot more thinking to do than Yarok, where you just bring good stuff and let them trigger twice.
Kykar remains the most versatile and diverse legend in this set so far.
Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord makes me wish I could find the edgar percon deck for a decent price lol..Now I'm glade I picked up an amulet of vigor as well
As someone who owns the precon and currently runs Edgar, I'm honestly not that stoked to run the new Sorin. Edgar works best with as many bargain basement cheap vampires as possible with some combat evasion and efficient draw - by this standard, Knight of the Ebon Legion is a lock for the deck. That's...pretty much it. It's very good at what it does, but it's also very much a one trick pony. If you're after a vampire themed with more style or traditional Stoker-esque gothic feel and vibe to it, I'd 100% go for Olivia Voldaren instead.
@cyberium_neo: Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking about Yarok. It's one of those cards that already make me groan when they've not even entered the format yet because everyone and their mother is going to play it and 90% of the time it's just going to be a "value/goodstuff deck", which has to be one of the most boring and uninmaginative ways to build a deck in all of Magic and especially in Commander.
It's strange though, I don't remember this sort of critique when Muldrotha, the Gravetide was spoiled, and to be fair it hits the same level of 'mundane commander' feels. And it's easily one of the most built commanders in my meta, both online and locally - has been since spoiling. I just internally groan when I see it now. I guess it just seems like we're judging Yarok on a different scale to Muldrotha, and all that's changed is a year has passed.
I don't care either way, personally. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and entitled to build a deck the way they want to. If you don't like it, don't play it.

I agree, but the question was asked, so people explained further.
I don't like Muldrotha either, but she could easily be dealt with via graveyard hate, which most EDH decks have some these days, compare to Yarok where it copies automatically and there are less ways to counter a spell or a trigger. Oh, Yarok is also cheaper to cast, with combat keywords that'd keep you and your PW safer.

Well, yeah. Torpor Orb et al are things too, though. I dunno, of the two Muldrotha seems less original and inventive to me, for that specific wedge anyway. Sultai has done Graveyardinteractions before, and better in both cases to my mind. I'm not bothered; I think it's reasonable but by no means overpowered, and seems fun but obviously not all that inventive. It's fine, for me, just....nothing supremely amazing like what we saw with Modern Horizons in Yawg and Urza.

can only speak for myself, but I was equally annoyed with muldrotha when it was spoiled. It's seems like so many new legends require next to nothing to be enormous threats. I much preferred when most commanders required a lot of thought and clever deckbuilding to be great. Which has been less and less important since...probably since the precons started tbh.

Generally I agree, but there's a fair few Timmies about, and that's ok - I like a mix of decks in my box, some of them are Timmy, some mid rangey, some just weird jank. This one is mostly a Timmy commander for sure.
Most of the precons have been reasonable, but every year there's been at least one or two that are busted as hell. There's definitely been a trend of more of these in the last few years, and it feels like it's really quite common with recent releases - to be fair though, that could just be the sheer number of releases we're getting these days. It seems like we're inundated - 3 new products in as many months, with precons out in 6-8 weeks is a little crazy imo.
And exactly what I needed for Slimefoot. This and Stupid Sexy Yawgmoth and the Talisman have me stoked to get changes made and get to the table (crosses fingers and hopes for Three Visits reprint soon).
I like it, it seems like a nice little value engine. For fast decks I imagine they'd rather have something that doesn't need to survive a turn cycle to bring out Cradle, but for those of us who like endless utility lands, I'm sure it'll find a home. Being able to rip out, say, bojuka bog as an instant is always cute.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
