Between astral slide/stride and deep forest/deranged hermit, looks like this set will give us some second copies for our commander cards

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
holy cow SNOW COVERED LANDS!!!!!! *runs off to buy more extraplanar lens *
Don’t forget your Mouth of Ronom for Mono-Colored decks. Seriously, I think people are sitting on how much a reprint of Snow Lands means for Mono decks. The trade-off for running them is minimal, and gives you access to some tech that can help you.

SNOW COVERED LANDS!
I need to get an extra planar lens before they go up too much in price. Granted they might not go up as much since everyone will now have access to snow-covered, but you know, just in case.
I'm loving Force of Negation. I'm expecting a very expensive card so I'm happy getting one and swapping it between pretty much all blue decks I'll ever play (well, except Wanderer) ^^
Since Snow-Covered already are in modern, I'm hoping this will make them cheaper, since I'm in the procress of picking up snow lands for my Gx decks (Wanderer/Arixmethes) that are interested in Into the north as redundancy.
It's really people forget that the Snow-Covered lands have a real financial cost, and while they're cheap in comparison to things like Scalding Tarn, they're a card you're potentially running up to 15 to 30-ish, depending on the format, if you're running them. In addition, unlike things like Shadowborn Apostle they're cards that have serious competitive applications, which people also forget. I showed them to a local Magic Facebook group that they're getting reprinted, and no-one understood why I'm so excited by them being reprinted.

Force of negation is very likely to make it into phelddagrif. The turn clause is almost irrelevant and the noncreaure clause still leaves it very strong. 3 is super reasonable for a backup cost, too. Love it.

I think any deck running Force of Will will be happy with also slotting in Force of Negation. Most spells that matter are going to be Noncreatures anyway. I know I will pick up a couple just in case (mostly for Modern), but I don't run FoW in any decks so I doubt I will run this either.
A ANY TRIBAL YOU WANT LEGEND THAT DOESN’T SUCK!!!!
What obscure tribe you guys gonna make with this guy?
This is actually a tougher nut to crack than "pick a tribe any go to town". My gut reaction was Slivers, but this is just so much worse that the options you already have. The cards this would be cool with are things like the Nephilim or potentially the Bringers (assuming the effect of Morophon affects alternate costs), but those "tribes" don't really have enough to justify building a deck around them. All the 5-color tribes like Elementals, Dragons, Allies, Slivers, Scarecrows, etc. all have a good Commander already, so you would have to really go deep with something like Shamans, Spellshapers, or Humans for this to make sense.

I want to say Morophon might have a slot in my Ur-Dragon but like, the creature himself is kinda underwhelming. I mean I suppose I could have a pretty explosive turn if I have a couple tribal discounters out in addition to the Ur-Dragon's eminence ability. Ehhh maybe I'll try it? My hopes are up for other solid changelings that can benefit from the eminence discount and give me perhaps a realizable curve.
i see changeling is a chosen mechanic crossing my fingers for a 5-color changeling legend and a chosen creature type gets supported
if that happens the war is over for a use any tribal you want legendary
I can already think of several decks that could use this one.

Well, this just turned from something I'm watching for interesting singles into something I'm interested in actually playing.

EDIT: That thing also checks the "6cmc or greater" box and the "power 5 or greater" box.

Deep Forest Hermit is officially my favorite card of the set no matter what else gets spoiled...
Jalira, Master Polymorphist | Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder | Bosh, Iron Golem | Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Brago, King Eternal | Oona, Queen of the Fae | Wort, Boggart Auntie | Wort, the Raidmother

Uril, the Miststalker | Prossh, Skyraider of Kher | Nicol Bolas | Progenitus
Ghave, Guru of Spores | Zedruu the Greathearted | Damia, Sage of Stone | Riku of Two Reflections
Ye lack faith
You don’t necessary need to go five color and focus on specific colors and you can use the minor colors for utility purposes
Like werewolf they have lots of stuff that support but do they have a legend no you can use this as a alternative till a real one pops out
Note that Morophon also reduces tribal spell cost, since it doesn't specify "creature".
