A running joke I've always had is "My opponent's Mana Crypt is my win-con", so I'm convinced to put Zndrsplt into a deck of mine, since it basically turns the statement true instead of logistically 50% of the time.
I don't have a coin-flip deck (and am not building one for this pair here, even if it seems fun it also seems narrow), but Crypt is common enough around my LGS that it can be just be goodstuff. Which means it's headed for Animar (who ironically has no Crypt and I still won't be adding it solely because of this card either) along with his partner because Partner means "Tutor that adds 2 +1/+1 counters to the Commander" in this deck. I never imagined Partner to be so relevant in Animar of all places (to be fair the first Commander Partners were just that) but the new ones add a whole new dimension for Animar to break, not that it needed any.
Najeela kind of feels like a massive middle finger, considering it's the latest in warriors matter cards going to "not mono red".
Saw the card, saw the first ability, thought of you, kept reading, and nope.
I hope they slow down with the 5C abilities now that we've gotten 4 new 5C general options in the last year. It feels like they're trying to design for EDH, but the color restrictions are a defining part of the format and a lot of the 5C designs end up as a miss. Najeela would have been super appealing to me in 2-3 colors and I'm not even sure I'll pick up a copy as printed.

Middle finger to who? Lovisa exists. You can run Najeela as mono-red, too.
I do run Lovisa, and all of the 'warriors matter' cards have either been mono black, mono white, or multi color, consider me a little peeved, especially since Najeela was a bit of a troll reading her initially (saw red and got super excited, proceeded to get super salty).
They've been around since Alpha and its taken until 2018 but FINALLY we get a legendary wurm! And it is WEIRD!
slap a darksteel plate on it, attack with a massive token army and have them all fight your wurm. Where does it say your creatures can fight each other?
But then your token army would die, and you wouldn't draw any cards because your wurm didn't leave the battlefield.
What's the difference between Frenetic Efreet and Frenetic sliver? Ruling wise?
The Silver has the ruling built onto the card Frenetic sliver the Efreet does not Frenetic Efreet the Sliver is largely a fixed Efreet and reflects the ruling change made to it prior to 2009 post Odyssey
The Efreet however got erratd back to being as printed much like what happened to Reconnaissance not to long ago.
Thrilling Encore is another amazing card, right down to the flavour text. Either simply paired with Damnation, or windmill slammed in response to another player's board wipe.
EDIT: I swear i'm starting to think that if the no reprint list didn't exist some of those cards would be in this set....
Happy to oblige
If only! Whatever the case, it seems like they're aiming to please eternal formats here. Which is nice considering 2HG doesn't have a ton of format support.
Some amazing stuff in this set. Some excellent reprints, some very playable Commanders, including new partner options, plus a ton of cards that will be solid in the format. My Kess deck is going to love some of these cards.
Now if I can just find some time to play one of these days!

Honestly i feel the same. We already got a 5-color dragon tribal, we really need more 5-color tribal stuff?
I prefer them them do be tricolored, you know, less is more and stuff like that. Being restrained on some colors give the deck some identity. A 5-color deck will always look a little goodstuff-y.
And sometimes these legendaries straight up fails at being tribal and just became goodstuff/combo general. Look at Tazri. I think the same will happen to Najeela.
The issue is that any 3 color warrior commander misses out on a big chunk of warrior tribal cards, because they've managed to spread the tribal rewards across 4 different colors. There's already a warrior typed commander for any 3 color combo within WBRG, so any 3 colors they pick are A) already able to be used and B) going to leave something out. And once you've gone to 4 color, it's actively easier to just add the 5th color than to try and make a design that doesn't use blue. So that's most likely why they went with 5 color for this warrior commander, as the big complaint was that you couldn't fit all the warrior tribal rewards into the same deck. Now you can.
