The spell will be countered even if Lunar Force can’t be sacrificed, most likely because it has already left the battlefield. Casting a spell in response to an opponent’s Lunar Force’s triggered ability is generally a bad idea.
I understand the interactions with the card and why they're powerful. I just don't think it's a good card. It combos with a handful of cards in a deck and does nothing else. If you play your equipment first, it's a dead draw. If you draw into your Argentum Armor without having this down, it still has all the problems it normally does. I almost never see Puresteel Paladin in decks, which I would argue is a much more powerful effect because of the cantrip and gives you a body to put equipment on, because most decks don't have enough equipment for this to be a relevant card most of the time. I don't know the last time I saw Leonin Shikari in play, which gives you a lot of the same protection benefits. Stonehewer Giant is powerful because it's a tutor first and the instant equip is a secondary benefit. If it was just putting equipment in from hand, I doubt it would be played anywhere near as much. I have literally never seen Rootwater Shaman played. How many equipments are you all running that this is going to let you cheat costs on more than 1-2 cards in a game? Are you running a high enough density of auras that actually matter at instant speed for this to ever come up?
It's a flashy card with some cute interactions, but I think it's a lot more niche than people are giving it credit for.
It's great for Shu Yun, since it triggers prowess itself and makes combat math a pain. Pretty much any Voltron player probably wants it.
It comes down before Xenagos and makes almost anything I play threaten to 1-shot players who like paying life to do things by almost breaking the 30-damage threshold.
There are quite a few cards that look worth testing out, or are just interesting for other reasons not mentioned yet:
Vexing Scuttler: yet another return instant or sorcery, but, it's a hermit crab using a ship for its shell. Geist of the Archives: Extra Scry support that doesn't need mana after the first cast Graf Harvest: Almost unblockable zombies Succumb to Temptation: Sign in Blood at instant speed for 1 more Whispers of Emrakul: Hymn to Tourach when Delirium is active Savage Alliance: Team-wide trample, clears out weenies like Pyroclasm, its versatility is worth considering Thermo-Alchemist: "Madness can't touch a mind ignited by genius" My favorite flavor quote of the set
It's clever for sure, but probably will only see play in super grindy decks. Her best ability leaves her at 3 loyalty and really easy to kill. In a total lock down situation she's still pretty slow, netting a total of 2 cards at the cost of 2 life over 3 turns.
Very clever to include this unorthodox way of increasing loyalty by blinking. Sort of reminds me of Sarkhan the Mad with no plus ability, only it won’t die to itself. That said, it’s a very low impact card. I can’t imagine a deck including this over either Phyrexian Arena or Sorin, Grim Nemesis.
The very slow blink has some utility beyond resetting loyalty too. That can clear out a problematic creature on an opponent's side for the whole turn cycle, which is unusual.
She's my kind of grindy, which makes me like her. I'm not sure how I'll actually feel about her in practice, but I'll try her out.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
Her 0 loyalty ability protects herself very well. I imagine that she can last longer than most walkers in the format with that sweet Obzedat impression. As people have said she is very slow and low impact but I like her in a deck that has late game plans.
New PW looks fun. At 4cmc her discard/draw ability is solid even if you only get it off once. If you can stick her for a while the ability to discard/draw twice in a row and then blink her to reset seems legit.

Yeah, that's pretty strong. In the format where card advantage is probably most important and most difficult to define because of the multiplayer aspect, this is a card that isn't leaving the question open. And in the rare case where you think a free discard is too good for your opponents that you don't want it, the other two options are far from useless.

Zedruu: "This deck is not only able to go crazy - it also needs to do so."
Actually yeah. I hadn't considered this interaction. A similar thing could be said for Oath of Gideon resetting it with +1 counter each time. It helps make her more survivable.

Did not see a thread for her yet.
She seems like she will be hard to get rid of and has some nice abilities but a little slow/grindy.

It's fundamentally different from both of those. I could see a deck focused on creature EtB triggers valuing this over either.
