I rather like Skybind and the new O-Ring for my Lavinia of the Tenth pillowfort deck. O-Ring has often helped me out getting rid of gods or other annoying indestructible permanents that crop up, and Skybind makes Replenish even more backbreaking, if that's even possible. I didn't realize at first that it can target lands, which makes it even better, and a mass Replenish can wipe opponents' manabases while the manchantments (animated by Opalescence) can swing in for the win. It adds another way to eliminate opposing manabases, along with Opalescence and Enchanted Evening (which also rocks with Parallax Wave), or just plain Armageddon.
Punching people to death with cards like Sphere of Safety never gets old to me.
Just remember that the cards exiled with Skybind will return at the beginning of the next End Step. Also non-Enchantment only, so it doesn't do anything if you play Enchanted Evening.
Yeah, the last part doesn't work too well, but that's a different combo; Enchanted Evening is for late game blowouts, or, if necessary, combining it with Austere Command to reset the board (preferably with one or two things exiled until end of turn).
I should have read the card in its entirety [Reading Is Tech]; giving people the cards back? That makes it a worse Admonition Angel, unless abusing your own EtB triggers too...It could still warrant playtesting though, as it's another way to blink Lavinia, and exiling things, at least for a bit, can make it easier for my own creatures to connect. I might want to just run Parallax Tide over it, though, or something else entirely.
tethmos high priest is cool. The effect is mad strong with a way to activate it repeatedly, unfortunately there aren't a lot of ways to use it that are viable in EDH. But I guess there's random stuff like boros charm and dawn charm that can be used for it if necessary.
banishing light is pretty meh, like o-ring without the tricks. Although to be fair sacking an enchantment was never real easy.
dictate of heliod is awesome, looks like a huge blowout to me. Every token deck will be running this I bet.
Eidolon of rhetoric is fine for what it does.
Godsend is great on a trampler. being white is a bummer. Still seems good, though.
launch the fleet is good for token decks again. I feel like it's too slow most of the time though. The only time I think it's really cool with with aurelia or something similar.
battlefield thaumaturge is freaking sweet. The effect is really strong with a lot of spells when you think about it - hex for BB isn't too shabby! Really wish it was on a legend but whaddyagonnado.
dakra mystic seems pretty cool. Nice for a graveyard-abusing deck that might sometimes want to draw that card instead. dunno if it will deserve play but it's a nice effect.
daring thief - one of my favorite cards from the set so far. Easier to use in multiplayer, and a really strong effect. Doubly so in zedruu.
dictate of kruphix - it's stupid.
hour of need - the ability to use it as removal or as a way to improve your own creatures makes it really cool. The multi-targeting makes it that much better.
hypnotic siren - great for edric/derevi. A bit overcosted on the bestow but the option to play it as a chumper is a solid alt usage.
polymorphous rush - Cool effect, the targeting restriction makes me less enthused but it's still pretty cool. Although none can replace mirrorweave.
sage of hours - people are whining way too hard about this guy. He's fine. Pretty hard to exploit but could be cool.
scourge of fleets - Big and bomby, seems good for mono-blue only though. Definitely not as good as certain similarly-costed bounce spells.
triton shorestalker - oh look edric got better.
agent of erebos - boring, i don't get why people get all excited about a grave hard card. I'd rather play a bunch of stuff over this that at least replaces itself instead of giving me a lame 2/2.
dictate of erebos - grave pack is good, so is this.
doomwake giant - my biggest problem is seeing this do more than -1 in a given turn. But it is a strong effect.
extinguish all hope - well at least there's a cheap damnation.
king macar - freaking awesome, my favorite legend in the set. Still not as cool as the thief among inspired but whatever.
master of the feast - it's bad, and so is your boring nekusar deck.
silence the believers - some of the best black removal, imo. I think tragic slip is still my fav, but this is close. Needless to say, it's awesome in any big black mana deck.

bearer of the heavens - interesting effect, another fun option for sekkuar if nothing else.
dictate of the twin gods - the same decks that want other damage doubler effects will want this. hidetsugu likes, obviously.
prophetic flamespeaker - any CA in red is good, and this guy is pretty great.
harness by force - overcosted. It's ok but far inferior to other similar cards.
spawn of thraxes - zirilan says....maybe? bogardan hellkite still looks better though.
twinflame - eh, it's alright.
dictate of karametra - man, I hate this sort of card.
eidolon of blossoms - love it, enchantress needs the help.
hydra broodmaster - I'm sure some people will like it. Personally I think it's kinda boring but whatever.
Hero's bane - same.
nessian game warden - same.
setessan tactics - more my speed. Seems like a cool, hard to play card...I like it.
Ajani - eh, he's decent, colors restrict him a lot. ult is pretty bad, but CA on a + ability is always nice. Still though, I don't suspect he'll be much more playable than his other versions.
Athreos - could be ok when played politically, but from a straight power stance he's not great, i'll take teysa, thanks.
disciple of deceit - one of my favorite cards in this set. inspired got WAAAAAAAY cooler than last set, holy crap.
iroas - probably my favorite RW legend, which doesn't say a whole lot.
keranos - can't be built around. sucks and boring.
kruphix - it's fine, but not very good without seedborn/prophet imo.
pharika - quite bad.
mana confluence - lol @ $20. not ideal in any manabase imo.
armory of iroas - kind of cool, but since it's really similar to the bad banshee's blade probably not playable except in a few decks that really like +1/+1 counters.
hall of triumph - really good for nonwhite aggro, imo.
....and everything else sucks.
overall it's a pretty good set for how small it is. I love the new inspired dudes.
dictate of heliod is awesome, looks like a huge blowout to me. Every token deck will be running this I bet.

I'm not going to run the white Dictate, but that's because between Glare of Subdual and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes I don't have room for it unless one of those doesn't meet my expectations. It is interesting though, for a straight anthem effect, which is more than I can say for some.
Maybe I'm alone, but I don't think Launch the Fleet is that good in a token deck. You need to tap out for it to really make an impact (the more creatures you have on field, the more mana you'll want to spend on it), though I can see it being a good way of getting some dudes in there in a W/x weenies deck. But... I don't like one shot token makers.
As a side note, I think Athreos is sweet, and I think I've finally found a deck to stick to that doesn't have G in it's color identity. Running Charon as a general sounds fun.
Note that Launch the Fleet is another card that works awesome with Battlefield Thaumaturge, so for a single W, any attacker acts like Brimaz, King of Oreskos for a turn. I think it's decent in token decks that rely on Anthems more than Glare of Subdual or similar cards. Being able to quickly scale up an attack force can help you deliver a game ending haymaker, though it kind of sucks if you get hit with a Master Warcraft immediately after playing it.
I really wish this was an instant so you could piggyback off of another player's attack though; it'd have some potential political options then as well.
In general, I think that all the Gods (in this set and the previous ones) have a lot of 'build around me' potential. I'm currently running Purphoros as a commander (in both 1v1 and Multiplayer) and I'm really excited to try Iroas out.
I think that the Dictate cards - especially Dictate of Erebos would easily find their way into several decks.
Cards with the Constellation mechanic could be good fits in the right deck.
I know I'm a bit late to the party but what's with the Nylea hate? She's been a decent trample enable in my experience. My meta is pretty token heavy though so maybe it's just more relevant for me than others. As for cards I like from the set I'm pretty happy with Dictate of , the 4/5 that impulses equal to your forests and the 3 mana naturalize with Strive. Pull from the Deep seems like gas if I ever rebuild . Hubris and Chimera seem solid in my Daxos Heroic deck. Setessan Tactics seems pretty underated, I think. It's definitely the best variant for EDH, but it is annoying that your guys have to tap. Seems decently busted with .
I know I'm a bit late to the party but what's with the hate? She's been a decent trample enable in my experience. My meta is pretty token heavy though so maybe it's just more relevant for me than others.
When you're late to a party, it really helps to let people know what the hell you're talking about. I'm guessing nylea?
Anyone else notice that this set is basically botg inverted? botg had really good legends and really lame cards. This set has really lame legends and really good cards.
Dack seems strong. He's especially suited for Grixis reanimator decks.
He's insane in any deck that can run him, honestly. He's always relevant. Early, he steals sol ring (sometimes he'll be able to steal MULTIPLE sol rings!). Late - he either starts stealing gilded lotuses and mind's eyes or careful studys you every turn. I don't anticipate ever using his last ability.
Dack isn't bad. Grabbing someone's Sol Ring is never a bad move, but the danger in doing so is that he'll probably die before it gets back to you. His looting ability might make him more niche- if I'm looting cards instead of trying to draw more, then I'd probably want to have a specific aim in mind (ie. reanimator, things that benefit from just drawing like Niv-Mizzet). Otherwise, I'll just play something that can draw me cards or filter like Rhystic Study or Thassa.
I suppose his ult might make him appealing, though it is a really weird ult to try to take advantage of. So long as you don't bounce/kill/exile the thing you're targeting with the spells, you get it? Which is fine in of itself, but most of the spells I play that do target tend to do one of the three so.

Sorry, but who is "Dack?" It sounds like you're talking about a planeswalker, but I have no clue who he is. Nevermind, I found him.

Dack Fayden sounds like a name straight out of Star Wars.
Decent card. I'm not expecting to ever see his ultimate go off. Even if it did, it would have to be in a deck that was more or less designed for it to be all that useful. The first two abilities seem good enough on their own.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I wouldn't be surprised if Dack's almost immediately reprinted in the Core Set. I'm looking forward to adding him to three of my decks already, Ruhan (to combo his ultimate with Aurelia's Fury), Gwendlyn Di Corci stax, and Keranos stax. My Ruhan deck already has a heavy looting theme with lots of flashback cards, the stax decks would love to steal mana rocks, and Gwendlyn has a reanimator subtheme. I think the new planeswalker is versatile and well-costed for a one-shot ability that might get a second chance.

Skybind is going right into my Heliod, God of the Sun deck. It's a perfect fit with solid interactions with all of mono whites etb/ltb creatures ex. Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, Reveillark, Angel of Serenity and all the others. Flickering lands, ex. Serra's Sanctum, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for optimal mana production every turn. Disrupting opponents key plays is going to be a prime use as well. That's just the scraping the tip of the interactions/disruption possible with this card...
