Well, this set has quite a bit of nice bombs in it. I was originally thinking it was going to be another boring core set....but there's just so much I love in it already!
It's funny that the Sporemound makes Life and Limb useful in edh but at the same time really hard to use. You need a sac mechanic and some form of haste out to win with it...not to mention hoping your opponents don't have an instant speed sweeper. Still, interesting combo there.

Ghave Saproling tribal, the general is the sac outlet, plus there's Aura Shards.
Not that it's the most broken way to play Ghave, but it's a way to spice up the build. Plus it's more Vorthosian, for those who are into that sort of thing.

On Mythic Rares: "What's next, Wizards will print six golden Black Lotuses and randomly place them in boosters, and if someone gets one, they get to tour the Wizards facility?"

Do enchantress decks use Faith's Reward to recover from board wipes or is it too situational? I keep thinking of Ajani's Chosen after an Austere Command.
I'll have to reassess if a Lovisa deck would be better with just warriors or every type. ItWoW Ogre and that bloodrush one are some pretty good additions....
I like Into the Wilds because you don't have to reveal the top of your deck.
(Remember when core sets were all reprints?)
Honestly I use Faith's Reward in nearly every white-based deck I play because of how swingy it can be, but I imagine it's even better in an enchantress shell where you have a higher density of permanents in your deck anyway.
Replenish. Pricey, but indispensable in an enchantment heavy build. And yes that'd be juicy.
Cleansing Meditation is incredibly cute if you're going for that kind of shenanigan. Wipes the board of enchantments, and then, if you've got threshold (before you put the enchantments in), brings them all back into play, giving you tons of new kitties/cards from other enchantresses.
Eh, Bob is a pretty narrow card and difficult to play with even starting at 40 life when you have options like Phyrexian Arena.
I'm not sure how much added availability there'll actually be of him, though- mythic in a small print run?

Ask yourselves, all of you, what power would hell have if those imprisoned here could not dream of heaven?
EDH:
Grand Arbiter Augustin IV Zo-Zu the Punisher Phelddagrif
Rhys the Redeemed
Ashling the Pilgrim
Ruhan of the Fomori
Rafiq of the Many
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker
Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief
Lazav, Dimir Mastermind
Aurelia, the Warleader
Animar, Soul of Elements
Borborygmos Enraged
Riku of Two Reflections
That being said, I'll be glad to see more bobs running around EDH tables. It's really quite good.
I'm with Galspanic and gaka on this one, even on turn 2 it's strong because many games end in around 10 or less turns and rarely will 10 flips kill you, especially with library manipulation
So we have a Skrillex ripoff in a drug-induced time warp caressing the upholstery of an antique chair. Of course this means drawing extra cards at the cost of life!
It's representing the fragile and dangerous nature of the "power" offered by the Confidant. He'll advise you and help you become a "king," but just when everything's going according to plan an untimely turn of fate can take away your crown and throne, the price for bargaining for power instead of earning it the hard way.
Goblin Diplomats annoys me. On one hand, it's a goblin and it does something interesting that can remove blockers. On the other hand, I'm not sure I will get much use out of its ability in my Wort, Boggart Auntie deck; I've found people don't tend to block anyway.
I'll still at least try it out, but I'm not committed.
Bob is going to remain eternally out of my price range, although I should at least proxy him to test his utility with my fairly low cmc cards. Limited print run, thx wizards.

The wedding is over. Now it's time for the honeymoon.
(U/B)(U/B)(U/B) JUMP IN THE LINE, ROCK YOUR BODY IN TIME
(R/W)(R/W)(R/W) RISING FROM THE NEON GLOOM, SHINING LIKE A CRAZY MOON
(U/R)(R/G)(G/U) STEALIN' WHEN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN BUYIN'
It ends the game in a draw unless you have an instant speed kill spell for a part, since you must keep putting tokens into play.
I'm okay with that, I play Heartless Hidetsugu. If I bring about an end to everything, it's pretty much the same as a victory.

Buuuut needs more torpor orb.
Good. Ramp has been getting silly lately.
Web of War Ogre seems really, really exciting.
Ahem... Blasting Station. If in red, Goblin Bombardment.

There are tons of ways to utilize this combo. It would be funny though if someone used Krosan Grip to stop you, resulting in a draw.

Agree. Finding plenty of should-be-cheap exciting little things.
I'm in love with Young Pyromancer. Everything from the cheap CMC to the flavor text. Mini-Talrand? Ok. Straight into Nin.
Draft my Peasant Cube.
Me too. I'll be damned if I don't try building a pauper/peasant EDH deck with this guy.
...
I'm fairly excited for this core set so far.

Unless you're playing French 1v1 Commander, he's not quite optimal in Multiplayer.

I don't predict that his price will change too terribly much, and I don't think I really have a deck for him anyway.
Verdict:
--- Meren of Clan Nel Toth --- Jhoira of the Ghitu --- Prime Speaker Zegana ---
--- Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief --- Ghoulcaller Gisa --- Akroma, Angel of Fury --- Titania, Protector of Argoth ---
Now if I were to build combotastic Oona deck? Hell ya I'll play bob all day.
Hope I can get me one someday. Would love to build something Golgari with Bob + Mirri's Guile and Sylvan Library.

Tap, each creature attacks this turn if able.

Meh, it's a goblin so I'm automatically not interested.
