I would be interested in seeing footage of actual paper games. Every now and again I'll put tournament footage on in the background when I am working if the mood strikes me, but you rarely see videos like that of EDH games (for obvious reasons.)
It may just be that I don't play MTGO, but I have a hard time focusing on MTGO games.
Paper games are really hard for people to film. They have to be able to keep up with life totals, all the interactions, know the rules and make sure that the people playing know how to play with the camera. Top and Go does a live paper game about once a month (go to the game plays playlist): http://www.youtube.com/user/TopAndGoProductions
I haven't really found anyone else on Youtube that does understandable paper games. It's just much easier on MTGO. If you find more people posting paper matches let us know!

I have watched most of your vids. I love them. Im waiting for someone to throw up a few nekusar games. Id rly love to see you run a nekusar competitive list. Keep bringing the games man! Your vids are the shiznit.
Thanks again for doing Adamaro. I am also interested in seeing your take on Zegana. I will let you know how my "hand size matters" deck turns out once I finish building her in paper.
I hear you. Sometimes people miss triggers or screw up interactions in real life, but most of the time it's better (if well produced).
Man, it is so time consuming to put together real life gameplays. I've done it twice, and only 1 ever made it to my channel.
You have to have the proper equipment to get the correct angles so that your viewers are not just starting at glare off of the sleeves; and not only that but you have to make it so that the cards are recognizable.
Add to that the fact that it is extremely unlikely that you can produce a gameplay with live commentary that ends up turning out well, meaning that you need to keep notes or remember exactly what happened throughout the game to dub over whats happening, and it just ends up being more pain that it is worth.
The SCG gameplays with their commentary are only the quality that they are because they have tons of money in their equipment set up.
I agree that it's cooler to see all of the cards IRL, but it has always seemed like such a large ordeal.
I have completely enjoyed watching your replays, Tarasco. I had ZERO interest in EDH and will now be making my own deck or two to start playing a bit of this format
Thanks, again.

Ah definitely don't misunderstand, for I have watched a ton of MTGO videos on YouTube. They have helped give me ideas on decks I play or play against and are usually well narrated and produced. I am always scouring the internet/You Tube for videos... whether they are IRL or MTGO.
Hats off to you Tarasco, your MTGO videos are very entertaining with clear, informative commentary. Top this off with your articles on PureMTGO that introduce each video and provide a decklist, and I am definitely a fan.
Actually, this style of article is something I am wanting to include (and recruit) on my own website.

Great introduction for new players to the Commander format while also providing a serviceable Erebos EDH deck idea. Nicely done once again sir. I have posted your article with your commentary:
Put up another new video, this new series is pretty fun, anyone got any ideas for some other topics I could break down? Maybe deck strategies like stax, combo, lifegain, etc..?
Just a heads up, I'm back from my holiday vacation and putting up new vids! I'm going to be playing with the precons for the next couple week, starting with Eternal Bargain.
Also, if there are any other youtube channels of people who focus on Commander that aren't in the first post, let me know and I will add them. Thanks!

Back this week as well, however, the wife and I just had a nino, so i have a 8.5 tails deck and gameplay that I'm going to be posting soon, but after that I may be done making videos (not sure if it will be forever or just for a while).
All right people, just a heads up, I've been going through all the precons and putting them through their paces unmodified. Although I haven't posted the vids for Evasive Manuevers yet, they rank sort of like this:
1 & 2: Eternal Bargain and Nature of the Beast. Just depends on if you like control or beat down.
3: Evasive Manuevers. Did ok for me and I pulled off some wins, but felt underpowered.
4: Power Hungry. Some interesting interactions, but they never amounted to much. Never pulled off a win.
5: Mind Seize. 2 half decks don't make a good whole one. Never pulled off a win.
Anyways, next week or so I'll be putting up Evasive Manuevers vids, then I'll get back to brewing. If you hate the precons just be patient, I'll get there. Thanks!

Any leads on people that are posting good quality edh games in paper? Mtgo just doesn't do it for me. Topandgoproductions used to nail it but have faded away lately.

Basically Top and Go, Matt Holden, Tristan Simpson and Starcity (although they only do 1v1) are your only options at this point. They're all linked in the first post, and all of them put out high quality stuff.
I've actually heard this comment a couple of times before, and I think that the best thing is for people that want live game plays to actually start doing some and posting their own. More content is always better obviously, and there are more than a few people who want it. However the difficulty of getting quality live game play is really high, which is why you see MTGO recordings.
