I resleeved Krenko in matte Dragon Shields and so far, so good. Not as grimey as quickly as I'm used to with Dragon Shields. They get my recommendation!
So Legion (legionsupplies.com) makes a pretty cool double deck box with a small middle storage space for dice or tokens. You can fit 2 single sleeved EDH decks (one in each compartment) or one double sleeved deck by splitting it between the two compartments. I also like the dragon scale outside texture, just for the added nerd factor.
Found a cheap plastic container to use as an EDH deck box at a local discount store (Daiso) in my country. Cost $2 SGD ($1.50 USD)
Can hold a full double sleeved EDH, or a triple sleeved EDH + A small accessories box. The only problem is it has some leeway (1 cm) allowing the cards to shift left and right, probably need to get some soft stryoform to pad it.
Could someone explain triple sleeving, I play a set of tarmogoyfs in a competitive deck in one sleeve and they look fine
For those interested in higher end deck boxes, I suggest checking out Elderwood Boxes' new kickstarter. Spellbook gaming boxes made to look like tomes featuring a selection of leather covers and wooden frames. They can hold 100 sleeved cards with room for dice. You can also add on custom foam trays for whatever gaming needs you have. I've heard good things about their previous kickstarter, and was amazed by this one.
Does anyone know of a box that can hold a deck sleeved in normal sleeves with KMC Character Guards over the top? I've tried the Satin Tower, and it only fits ~95 cards sleeved this way. I need something just a tiny bit bigger.
The BCW clear acrylic boxes work well. I use the 200 count which holds my double-sleeved deck and room for ~20 single-sleeved tokens. A friend of mine uses the 150 count boxes and they snugly hold his double-sleeved deck.
Could someone explain triple sleeving, I play a set of tarmogoyfs in a competitive deck in one sleeve and they look fine
Perfect fit > regular sleeve > outer sleeve (like aforementioned Character Guard or toploader). Or do you mean WHY do people do it? I personally went to double-sleeve after I saw how a card would wear from shifting in a single sleeve. Triple adds an extra layer for grime and spills to slip through.
For a lot of solid reviewing of Deck Boxes, Sleeves, 9-pocket binders, 4-pocket portfolios, the new 12-pocket portfolios, and other cool videos about Magic the Gathering I'd recommend checking out the YouTube channel: Tolarian Community College
His most recent video on deck boxes features a premium made deck box that looks like Ratchet Bomb, and in the video before this one he showed off a Zendikar Hedron deck box. I believe some of his favorite deck box recommendations for a reasonable price are the Ultimate Guard Flip'N'Tray, the Ultimate Guard Monolith, and the Ultra Pro Satin Tower.
Here is his latest video which also features a leaderboard at the end where he lists the grading he has provided from past deck box reviews: https://youtu.be/vWGReq91Y6I
I highly recommend watching some of his videos as he provides a fair and thorough review of many of these different products.

The idea of triple sleeving is when the player has sleeves that he wants to protect also. Some sleeves are of limited print (like MTG cards) and thus they have collector value too, hence they will need a "sleeve protector" to protect the them. In the picture below: left (perfect fit to protect the card from being damaged while moving about in the sleeve), middle (collector sleeve) and right (sleeve protector)
Most of the anime sleeves use a silver finishing color print which will wear when used too much without protection. I learnt that the hard way, pic below. T___T
Are the Dragonshield deck boxes you guys are referring to the single deck ones? Or the multiple deck ones?
Reason Im asking is this:
I am currently sleeving up one of my decks (Prossh) in Gold Dragonshields (single) however it does not seem to want to fit into the clear Ultra Pro acrylic box (150 count last I checked) that I usually use for the Commander decks. It seems the problem were the Dragonshield sleeves being too wide for me to fit them in normally. And the only way I got it to work was to load the deck in sideways, which irritates me (for many reasons)
Do anyone know whether the Dragonshield single deckboxes fit their standard sleeves fine? I would assume so but I want to see some pics/hear feedback before I commit my money to getting these boxes (LGS do not stock them, nor have I ever seen them in person anywhere)
Ugh I wish UltraPro would release more of their 100+Pro deckboxes with different Commander/Legendary art

I always use Dragonsleeves + the Dragonshield deckbox.
I once bought a UltraPro box (they look almost identical) by mistake, and indeed the DragonShield sleeves don't fit in them.
You can see the difference at the bottom of the Deckbox, where the name is printed.

Thanks! Yeh I tried loading my Dragonshield sleeved deck into the Ultrapro box and had a scare when I realized they were not going in fully and saw the bottom, its good to know the Dragonshield boxes themselves fit them, I can buy them with no worries now I think
They fit in a fatpack box fine right? Thats how I cart around my Commander stuff
Are there any deck boxes that comfortably fit KMC + Pro Fit sleeved cards?

Are there any deck boxes that comfortably fit KMC + Pro Fit sleeved cards?
There are two that I've personally encountered that fit the criteria. The Ultra Pro Command Tower deck box and the deck box line made by Dex Protection. Both have ample room for a fully double sleeved deck (the Dex Protection deck box even fits my 10 card wishboard). I really wish I could recommend the Ultimate Guard Twin Flip n' Tray 200+ as well (my favorite deckbox), but sadly a 100 double sleeved deck fits far to snugly for me.

Pirate Labs has some decent 120 card deck boxes out now and pretty inexpensive. They fit a double sleeved decks with ease and single sleeved decks have plenty of space to spare for token cards. I snagged 10 of them.
I've been thinking about buying the Ultra Pro Command Tower box, but I recently double sleeved my deck using some Ultra Pro character sleeves with KMC clear and matte character guard over sleeves. I've never seen a double sleeved commander deck with opposite set up up close (perfect fits inside, normal sleeves outside), and I feel like the size difference is probably pretty big compared to my set up. Does anyone know if that deck box can fit with my double sleeve set up? Or is that including the bottom half storing cards as well? I'd like to use that for dice so I'm interested if I can fit the whole deck in the top half.
They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.
I don't know off the top of my head sorry. If you have an lgs that sells them, ask if you can try it out. Or, if you see someone that has one ask to try it. I'll try to ask around for you and see though.

Sideways. And always put in all 100 at once! If you do like 30, 50, 20 theres the risk of one card might get bend.
Can they fit in straight on? Just wondering in case I decide to go double sleeved
Also how much freespace does it have when going doublesleeve in those boxes?

Box comes with a handle for easy carrying
Size comparison with a fatpack box
Another angle
Interior of deckbox is lined with faux leather and foam
It can fit top loaders, smaller plastic deckboxes too!!!
Storage capacity is around 2x TRIPLE sleeved commander decks, or around 3 single sleeved commander decks
A flaw of the box is the tapered edges at the interior of the box. But it can be mitigated by using toploaders on both the edges of the box.
