I use the blue/RTR Holiday gift box. Its organized as such:
Row 1: 3 sleeved EDH decks, 3 dividers, 1 bag of dice
Row 2: 3 sleeved EDH decks, 3 dividers, a bunch of sleeved tokens
Row 3: 2 sleeved EDH decks, 2 dividers, extra sleeves, 2 deck boxes (each with a 60 card deck inside)
And I throw one of those "do not eat" packets on top of the middle row before closing it shut.
As far as sleeves go, I still with Ultra Pro matte. I've had some break in the past, but they have the best feel. I've tried other sleeves, but they tend all to stick together after a while.
I've been using Fat Pack boxes with two single sleeved decks in them for a while now. For those of you fitting three decks in a fat pack, what do you use for dividers?
Some of my friends use hard sleeves as dividers, is there a better solution?
I slot the general for the deck into a hard protector, then use that for the divider. One of the perks of that plan is that you'll never accidentally shuffle your general in, but it's an easy enough thing to do deliberately in the case of tuck. Another one of those at each end keeps the box from damaging cards/sleeves when closed. Three single sleeved decks in dragon shields or ultra pros fit comfortably doing that.

[Pr]Jaya | Estrid | A rotating cast of decks built out of my box.
I've recently considered buying 7-800 Dragon Shield sleeves in the same colour, so that I could throw cards around my various decks without having to worry about re-sleeving back and forth. I also want to choose the least common colour for this, so that I don't mix up my cards with other people's.
I was thinking Pink.
I've done this, except I went with black because dignity > not losing valuable cards, imo.
Currently I've got just a smidge under 5,000 in my collection. So maybe start preparing storage space, just in case.
How many of you have tried or are using KMC Hyper MAT sleeves?
So far I'm loving these. They shuffle like butter and are pretty tough.
They're my favorite by far. I've played with dozens of Ultra Pros and 8 Dragon Sleeves. KMC Hyper Mat is way better, worth every penny. I hope they introduce more color varieties.
Perhaps this is the reason why KMC sleeves are so good? I'm referring to the color. The current colors are what make it so good and lasting. I'm no scientist, but I feel that different colors have slightly different properties. Or maybe I'm just bias lol.
How thick would a quad-sleeved deck be? Would it even be possible to shuffle without assistance?

The breaking is the reason I skip Ultra Pros nowadays. KMC Mattes have never stuck together for me, and doublesleeved KMC mattes and KMC perfect fits fit in an Ultra Pro 100+ ("Pro Deck Box") deck box.
Personally, I use Ultra-Pros. They do split every now and again, but they're also widely available and shuffle easily. I use Deckbuilder Toolkits with toploaded Commanders as dividers to keep my decks in.
This is a bit off-topic, but would anyone like to see a thread like this but for life counters? There's some really neat ones I think would be worth sharing with the community.

Well, I currently have my EDH decks triple-sleeved, and shuffling isnt an issue - quad sleeved, I'd probably have to shuffle it like two 60-card decks, but it still shouldn't be that bad.
The goal is to play EDH in my jacuzzi.

KMC Hyper Mattes may not be widely available at your local shops, but they're worth waiting a few days for them to ship from whichever online store you order from that carries them.
As for the bit about life-counters, I've been debating if I should expand this thread to other Magic accessories. The next accessory that I was thinking of adding was playmats since I have tried several, but I'm not sure there is much to say about them other than the quality difference between a few brands and then all of the anime playmats that come from Asia. Life counters would probably be a better topic to add, but I do not wish to steal your idea.
Also I'll admit I haven't been very diligent in updating the first post of this thread since I got my first salary job :). I would probably be more inclined to modify and update it if I could simply code the post in HTML/CSS of my own. Being limited to short-code with predefined settings feels limiting, but I try to make the best of it. I'm still not satisfied with the overall feel of the layout for the two sections. I hope to spend some time modifying the deck box listing to a much easier to read format that is more visually appealing.
KMC Hyper mat are my favourite Sleeves (and for me [in the land of everything is expensive] slightly cheaper than dragonshield, $15 rather than $18)... BUT! they come in packs of 80 :'(... so I only use them for my 60 card decks. I just can't brake the things (I have bent a few ) and I apparently shuffle too hard because I can't shuffle Ultra pro without breaking a sleeve every damn time! I actually bought them accidentally after I broke one of my favourite sleeves (59 goddamit!) at game day and needed some sleeves A.S.A.P. feel so good to shuffle.
For EDH I am too cheap to pay for the better sleeves, its not like I am going to get a judge called on me in an EDH game. No one really cares if some of the sleeves a peeling a bit at the corners. So I am using Fantasy flight, because they are cheap ($10 for 2 packs of 50) and not ultra pro, they are an odd shape longer than normal sleaves, but they don't seem to split like ultra pro they just peel at the corners and not as dramatically as KMC super (which was using before I somehow had the corners peel way up on more than 100 of an original 160)

I'll be frank, with the nice formatting of your intro post, I'd much rather have you do it. I don't have any fancy coding skills, so I think you're probably the better man for the job. I also concur about the playmat thing, I don't think there's more than one kind of playmat, just what designs are available on it. Life counters, meanwhile, can run the gamut, from Spindowns and pen and paper, to the wonky stuff like DokuDoku's Life Counter Ring, and my Flying Tricycle Counter:

I actually tend to use D6s for life counters because I don't use them for anything but MTG (as counters) so I don't end up leaving them in some other bag like I do with sets of seven polyhedral dice.
six sixes and a four. easy.
Not a fan of spindowns for no really rational reason. If I have D10s on hand I'll occasionally use two of them.
I use d10 percentile dice because I have tons of them from my D&D days.
Regarding sleeves, a guy at my LGS uses those KMCs double sleeved and they are really good. I'm currently double sledging my cube with KMC perfect fits inside the $3 Ultra pro mattes and that is working fine but eventually I want to upgrade to the KMCs. That will probably be my Xmas present to myself.
For KMC sleeves, stateside, I reccomend Potomac Distribution - they sell boxes of 10 backs of hyper mattes for $54 - which is about as cheap as ultra pros! I have about 3000 cards sleeved in hyper mattes now - totally, totally worth it. Perfect cuts, and very durable - i play mtg 3 nights a week and i have yet to even see a bent corner on a sleeve.

Hi, I've been searching the forums for threads talking about non-edh deck boxes with dice compartments, but can't find a clue about it. The ultra-pro tower deck box is nice for having a dice compartment under the cards one, but it seem too big for non-edh purposals (60+15 card decks).
Does anyone know any good solution for this, or pointing me to the right thread for this question to be asked?
Just came across these while browsing Ultra Pro's site: Pro-Slayer Sleeves. Anyone have any experience with these? Some vendor sites indicate a release date of March 2014, but I've never actually seen these IRL.

Never heard of those till now. Judging by the packaging and 100ct I'm guessing their meant to compete with Dragon Shields. I wonder if you'll get the bonus sleeves like you do with the DS.
Edit: I got one of the Ultra-Pro 700ct corrugated boxes (like this one) that have the single divider in the middle for storing my Cube. It snugly fits 600 double sleeved cards, which is perfect for me.
Haven't actually gotten to use it yet per se (except to stick the precon I had sitting around in my desk) but it's so pretty I had to show it off. I got it from mtg custom deck boxes (aka Aaron Cain). It can hold 3 EDH decks (one split across 2 compartments) or 2 and a bunch of a dice and stuff.

Can this deck box hold triple sleeve?
Triple sleeve? People do that? O_o Why would you do that? I don't even...
Personally I only use single-sleeve (dragonshields). If you wanted to....triple sleeve....each side holds 150 cards single-sleeved, so if a triple sleeved card is less than or equal to 1.5 single-sleeved cards, then yes?

People definitely do, especially when playing with high cost decks or just so that the accidental drink spill doesn't ruin everything :P.
