Your support for Clique and Palinchron was not needed as they each had enough support. Feel free to nominate/support something else.

Plus that art. Love it.
Cloud of Faeries is a house too, and enables SO many combos and tech plays, but I've used my 2 supports.
I know Edric would, but one deck does not justify inclusion on this list.
I think most people just run Palinchron.
It's great because it's free (or better) and it cycles. Decks that might want it include Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, Momir Vig, Simic Visionary, Animar, Soul of Elements, Vela the Night-Clad, Damia, Sage of Stone, and Oona, Queen of the Fae. It's not that special in lots of decks, but there are a fair number that it's very powerful in, and it's almost never a dead draw in any deck, especially as a tempo play with spare equipment around.

I'm similiarly amazed at Azami's support. She isn't used in that many decks and in general isn't a very good card. Things like Thassa, Clique, or Sower fit into many decks and the latter 2 receive less support. Maybe people who don't play blue are voting.

I just think they're both better than Draining Whelk and Diluvian Primordial, since we need to pick 8 of these cards to add / remain on the list.

*shrug* Great evasion enabler, plus Scry every turn, at very economical casting cost.
Maybe it's just something about my play preferences. I'd rather win using the small advantages she offers than by a tedious Palinchron infini-mana combo. Palinchron's obviously more powerful, but it's also incredibly boring.
This.
Several weeks ago I put Azami in my Derevi deck as well. Once I had the Azami-Derevi-Prophet of Kruphix trifecta assembled and started drawing an absurd amount of cards, I immediately fell in love with her.

I voted just for Thassa. I don't like Sower of Temptation, it just seems worse than control magic (which is worse than treachery). I would vote for clique for 1v1, but not for multiplayer. Sphinx of Uthuun is pretty good, I just wish it cost one less mana, 7 is a lot, especially in a blue deck (ie one that probably wants to leave up mana a lot).
As for palinchron, I don't think it should be on the list. If you come here looking for good cards, well, it isn't a good card. You put it in a deck if you are looking for infinite combos, not for generally good cards. From first post
My decks:
-Modern UWR gifts control
-Modern Mono-G aggro elves
-Azami, Lady of Scrolls EDH
-Glissa the Traitor EDH
-Modern UWR Counterbalance Control
-Modern UW enchantment control: primer, on tapped out
-Modern regular UWR control
Thassa has been good to me so far. Scrying every turn is nice, she takes almost nothing to play and protect, and the activated ability is wonderful if your win cons are things like little guys with a SoFaF.

I used to run Arcanis in my Niv-Mizzet, The Firemind deck, and I don't think I ever actually made it to my next turn with him still on the board. Needing to get through his summoning sickness severely weakens his potential impact on the game. Exactly as ISB has said, you can get immediate value from playing an Azami. If you get around to your next turn, you're only down 1 card from what Arcanis would have drawn you, and I again seriously doubt that Arcanis would make it beyond 1 go-round.
With wizards as such a common creature type in blue, you also get amazing synergy with many of the other utility creatures you're probably already running (Archaeomancer, Trinket Mage, Snapcaster Mage, etc.). With even one other wizard, you're immeditely getting significant card advantage on the turn you cast Azami, while Arcanis is still sitting around twiddling his thumbs. On top of it all, Azami costs 1 less mana to cast than Arcanis, menaing you're getting CA from her while Arcanis is still sitting in your hand.
If we're doing a 1-to-1 comparison, I don't think there are many decks where I'd want to run Arcanis over Azami.

Seriously though, I support Spell Crumple.
I'd also like to nominate Merchant Scroll.
