Not sure if anyone here can answer this for me, but here it goes.
I am a big commander fan. I like to just brew lists, even if I never build them. I also enjoy writing a lot.
So I was just curious if anyone knew of any article sites that take open applications for writers, specifically commander writers.
I've wrote for Mana Deprived, MTGBroDeals, The Scoop Phase and others.
Honestly? If you're literate and edit your articles, chances are you can get on just about anywhere save Star City Games and Channel Fireball. I'd try Wrongwaygoback first-or even start your own blog, spam it all over social networks, and hope for the best.
Most websites are looking for a 1500-2k word count. Also, you're one in a million and likely disposable-don't take offense if someone doesn't take your writing. Good luck.

Thank you, good sir. Exactly the response I was looking for. And trust me I know of the abundance of writers in the world, I have adapted to be able to take criticism.

Wow, that sounds really low. Then again I'm reading multiple 10k+ word chapters on stories almost daily (admittedly, there's a 43k word chapter in my 'to-read' list that is daunting, but more because of the content that I know is in there than the size), and writing 6-8k word chapters weekly (semiweekly when I'm lazy).
Unfortunately, I'm much more adept at writing fiction than analyzing Magic.
www.CommanderCast.com is always looking for Commander writers. It is all volunteer as the site provides free content and doesn't make money, but is a great way to get your stuff out there. Email Commandercast(at)gmail(dot)com and let them know you are interested. I write for them (although I am taking a break right now for a little while).
You could also check out gatheringmagic.com. It's easy to submit articles, so even if your writing's terrible, at least the rejection is efficient and painless.
