My favorite color combination is RG, and so I decided to make a Radha, Heir to Keld deck.
I've already decided on a good number of creatuers - I'm making it have a warrior/elf tribal theme - so some human and elf warriors and a berserker or lord here or there.
As I have green I want some ramp and creature tutoring, and as I have red I want some wheel effects and land 'destruction' (blood moon and such).
I also want the deck to be able to take advantage of Radha's unique ability to give you some free mana when you attack with her, so I'm looking into red instants (or Vedalken Orrery and other things). There are a lot of decent red instants (I've created a list of 20 or so candidates), so I'm wondering - what would be a good number to shoot for in the deck? Also, should I just be shooting for instants that cost RR or less, or what?
If anyone has any perspective to offer, thanks in advance.
Other than that, there are lots of good, instant speed burn spells for two cmc you can play, some of the better ones will be Magma Jet and Searing Blaze. Don't forget that you can also funnel Radha's mana into activated abilities such as the ubiquitous Kessig Wolf Run which can be used to very easily allow Radha to score a commander damage kill.
If you need/want more suggestions, check out the Radha link in my sig. it's a nice, thorough post with land destruction, acceleration, and fast beats all rolled into one, and even sprinkled with a dollup of artifact/enchantment removal to allow the beats to keep flowing uninhibited by Ghostly Prisons, Propagandas, and other such nuisances. Virtus, the thread-owner, also has a well-tested list in the opening post that you may also find informative as well.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the direct damage red instants would be worth it, but its sounding like they are. I'll take a look through the list (I've looked through several, but none quite had the feel i was going for) and see what I think.
This may sound silly, but what about pairing him with Stonewright?
If he was an elf or warrior I'd consider it. As is, I think that that enchantment that essentially gives all of your stuff firebreathing is probably better/safer (name is escaping me at the moment).
Ghitu War Cry is what you're thinking of, however if you're doing the tribal thing I can't help but feel that Shared Animosity is better.
Oooh nice. I think I agree with you - with how the deck is shaping up I should have enough instants to always be able to cast something with the two mana generated from Radha. I'll try to get a list up soonish.
While the two red trigger can be useful for casting some cheap burn at quasi-sorcery speed (which is much more relevant in 1v1 than multiplayer), it's really not something you should be tuning your deck to take advantage of. Certainly play some red instants, but don't play more than you otherwise would just because Radha can sometimes let you cast one, but doing so is only relevant in games where you didn't have to red mana or tapped out everything but Radha to play other things AND swinging with Radha isn't going to just get her dead (she is, after all, only a 2/2).
What makes Radha such a good general is that she guarantees you a 2 drop mana dork, meaning you can hit things like mwonvuli acid-moss or explosive vegetation or oracle of mul daya on three (or on two if you can turn one Radha with a mox or gemstone caverns or if you hit a turn one mana dork).
Monday night, our LGS held a competitive EDH tournament for a commanders arsenal, and it had such a good turnout that there was also about $120 of store credit given out in addition to the arsenal. My buddy won with Radha and here are some of the plays he made in the tournament: turn one Radha 7 out of the 10 games, turn one Thrun, the Last Troll (against a Geist control deck), turn three Deus of Calamity, and turn three Pattern of Rebirth on a Sakura-Tribe Elder to go get Terastodon, destroying his opponent's three lands. Keep in mind this was using the 1v1 banned list, so no Sol Rings, Mana Vaults, or Mana Crypts were involved. These are the kinds of explosively fast plays you should be gunning for with Radha.
