At the moment, I am making a deck for Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant! The most odd and hilarious card I could think of for EDH, that is surprisingly powerful. I am running 74 forests as of right now, but would like some insight from anyone who has tried this in the past.
Knowledge is half the battle!
I haven't tried this deck outside of goldfish matches, but in general the turn you bring out Sasaya, he will become an Enchantment. Dodging most removal!
It isn't a deck that should bring a lot of hate, and even if it does it may be hard to stop regardless. Has anyone used a general like this before, and if so, how was it?
Is it worth it?
The deck itself will cost <$30. A huge hurray to that! It is competitive at a turn 5-6 win (In a perfect world) and it's quite hard to interrupt except for enchantment removal. It has very few tricks and is incredibly straight forward. In your opinion, does that make a deck worth using? is there replay-ability in that?
Crunching the Numbers.
The deck has about 11 cards that will effectively win you the game, and 13 that will fill your hand with more lands (extremely needed). I'd love some feed back on what the particulars should be!
Budget, budget, budget!
Because it is such an incredibly casual deck, I wanted to make it for incredibly casual players. As such, no Emrakul, The Aeons Torn to be found here! If anyone has any ideas on cards that are <$3 and would benefit the deck greatly, add it as a response. It will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Because I'm new to the EDH thread, I read the EDH thread rules. You're not allowed to post your deck list? Outside links I'm not sure of, so it is here in digression. http://mtgdeckbuilder.net/Decks/ViewDeck/314900 If this is against the terms of this thread, please inform me. Thanks.
If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
It's not as improbable as you think- I had a friend build this deck last year and it was pretty crazy. Mostly forests and ramp, get the general out, then play a gigantic mana sink like Kamahl, fist of krosa or gelatinous genesis. Just don't be surprised when your opponents get tired of you winning the same way over and over.

That was actually my biggest worry. I tried to throw in some more cards that were interesting, such as Weird Harvest, to allow people the chance at stopping it and allowing for some more interactions other than "Are you going to concede?". The same goes for Primordial Hydra. It is in the interest of fun that these cards are in here, and not just to win.
you can actually drop down the land count and still reasonable be able to have 7 lands in hand, just mulligan till you have a hand with a land count you are comfortable with.
two things to note is that primal surge can easily hit and take out the board by turn 4-5 in this deck.
make sure to have a couple fun interesting mana sinks and it should work well
I'd recommend Scrollrack but it kind of breaks the budget idea
5 Color Cromat with tons of tutoring that doesn't reveal the card. Play a few classic playing cards, a couple Uno Draw 4s (Ancestral Recall eat your heart out), some basic Pokemon for defense, a Get Out of Jail Free card, and have assembling all five pieces of Exodia be your win condition. People will flip because EXODIA!? IMPOSSIBLE! NOBODY'S EVER BEEN ABLE TO SUMMON HIM!
Right now, most of my searches are on sorcery or instant bodies, instead of creatures. I'm not sure if I should change that up, as Primal Surge relies on it but they just work so much better.
Also, the main win-con of this deck right now is Wolfbriar Elemental! If anyone can find cards like it, I'll award you +1 to internetz!
Anyways! The deck list that I am currently running is attached to the bottom of my original post, it will take you to the EDH decklist discussion. Thank you to everyone participating, this is a great response!
I have found that 60-62 lands is most optimal, at least in my deck. I think the pinnical is the best non-creature win con but creatures are the best option because green only has tutors for creatures. I would try and run less win conditions and more tutors for more consistancy.
On the land search bit if would also add Kadoma's Reach, and cultivate each one allows you play an extra land and helps get you to 7 land in hand at the same time.
Play to win. If you don't, you're disrespecting everyone you're playing with by wasting their time. The Douchbag check is at the level of deck construction.

That is way too many lands, dude. I just finished my Azusa, Lost but Seeking deck, which both runs Sasaya in the 99 and frequently vomits lands from my hand onto the field (theoretically making it difficult to flip Sasaya).
My Azusa deck runs 49 lands (including Glacial Chasm, so really more like 48 as far as gameplay goes), and I rarely have trouble flipping Sasaya. The following all help:

The rule it to try and get people posting decklists in the appropriate subforum rather than the main forum. Links to decks is OK (and people often link to decklists that they've posted in the subforums).
Haha, almost forgot about the Emrakul ban. Was thinking of throwing in Kozilek, Butcher of Truth but was quickly turned off at the $25 price tag.
What a shame. I actually have most of those cards in the deck list, except Creeping Renaissance and Life from the Loam. All the others I find really useful. Also, I think the land number is pretty appropriate. After dropping 3 lands to play him, I still want a hand of 6 lands, a bomb, and a land on draw. That's 10 lands passing through by turn 4, seven of which have to be in my hand.
I don't actually know if I could tweak the numbers much more, as every new card I add lowers the chances of him flipping, and then the deck just suffers.

Good, cheap X spells:
Enshrined Memories
New Frontiers
Wurmcalling
Strength of the Tajuru
5 Forests, 1 Rites of Spring, 1 Win Con. There isn't ever really extra cards to throw away to get forests.
In the end I just end up wishing that it had been a forest
