Wort, the Raidmother is a really silly good general. A buddy of mine chose her on a whim, and now she is a ramping, burning, conspiring machine of epic proportions. Genesis Wave nabs the entire deck, spells like Banefire will knock two people right out of the game. There is so much combo potential, and at the very least, she does a lot of impressive things. That's where my vote is off to.
R/G is probably the 1 color combo that I've built the most decks for - Stonebrow, Borborygmos, Wort, Staang, Radha, and Ulasht - but out of all of them Stonebrow was by far the strongest. A lot of creatures already have trample, and there are plenty of ways to give it to the ones that don't. Throw in a couple extra combat steps, and you've got yourself a pretty scary board. Stonebrow all the way!
Stonebrow, because he smashes people with trample and extra combat phases. Thromok also gets a honorable mention for being the king of 1-hit-KO'ing people. By the way, does anyone else notice most Gruul generals enforce a token strategy?

Commander:GB Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord (list) - U Talrand, Sky Summoner - GRU Maelstrom Wanderer
Ulasht is the fun option. Wort is the power option. I prefer fun. Thus, Ulasht.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Ulasht was one of my favorite decks, but my vote has to go to Wort. My buddy's Wort deck does stupid things, ramping super hard till he can conspire a burn spell and kill two people, or conspiring Tooth and Nail to just destroy the whole table. So good.
It's sad that cards like Feral Animist would make a better Gruul general than most of the Gruul legends available
I voted for Wort because the spell copy effect is more powerful than anything the others could do in multiplayer. So many of the legends generals are really odd... Tuknir Deathlock is so ugly but gets cool points for wearing a Triceratops hat.

Wow! It's been a long time since I thought about Tuknir. That's a really odd mix of flavor text, abilities, and colors. Nothing about this card really comes together.
lol and i thought stangg would have a chance. it was on the lead 20 or so votes in.
That's just people trolling the color combo without actually giving any generals a thought.
I have a dream that my four little commanders will one day live in a playgroup where they will not be judged by the color of their cards, but by the content of their abilities.
Wort and Stonebrow are probably the best, but my favorite is Borborygmos, mostly just because almost nobody plays him as a general, and because sometimes a big, unsubtle trampling general can be fun.
I have several decks that are a lot more powerful than my Borborygmos deck, but none has been as consistently fun.

i actually voted for it, i love the card. could cost a little less but it has a very nice flavor and theme to it. If it cost 4 maybe 5, it definitely would be great. Warrior creature type makes it even better.
Didn't get a chance to vote, but my favorite is Borborygmos.
I don't really understand the "too expensive to be a general" argument when you're running green. The best ramp color.
My 2nd favorite is Radha because she just lets your deck move so much more quickly (yes, that does sort of contradict my other statement, but oh well).
But my vote would have gone to Wort because I recognize she's probably the "best".
I think my true disdain for Gruul lies behind the lack of any GR that doesn't implicit a *yawn* or a "meh." I look at the options and not one excites me.

Alas, I am still physically incapable of voting against large quantities of tokens.
Sorry Wort, but my vote goes to Ulasht.
Ulasht, the Hate Seed, baby.

Thromok also gets a honorable mention for being the king of 1-hit-KO'ing people. By the way, does anyone else notice most Gruul generals enforce a token strategy?

That's actually a great idea. I think I'm going to make him my pauper EDH general.

If I had, would have voted for Radha.
