KMC perfect fits and KMC sleeves work the best for me. They aren't too bulky, are sturdy, and can protect my cards from getting scuffed in shuffe. (which is important in edh when your shuffling foils worth more than $100.)
KMC mats are way better than Dragon Shields. They shuffle great and they are durable. Dragon Shields ward cards and are always miscut. I only use KMC Mats. All oher brands fall short. If Dragon Shields made mats and had even cuts, then they would be great. I never had a problem with KMC mats collecting dirt or anything. I shuffle my decks for no good reason and the front clear part is still nice and clear. Never had one split. KMC Mats all the way!
I have found that taking a baby wipe (i have three kids one of which is 3 months old) and using them to clean my DShields keeps them nice and slick and good for shuffling. Also I cant stress enough the importance of using a play mat regardless of the sleeves your using!
KMC perfect fits inside Dragonshields are my goto sleeves. I've seen my Elesh Norn have half a pint of CocaCola spilt over it and come out fine when double sleeved like that.
I bet you almost had a heart attack though.
On topic I use dragonshields and so far they have been the best aleseeves I've bought thus far. They come in many different colors to distinguish decks. They come with exactly 100 (actually most of the time when I buy them it's like 103) perfect for the 99 + general. And I've yet to see any split.
They shuffle the best. They don't get dirty. And unless shuffle like a madman they shouldn't split. I've had mine on Omnath for two years without splits.
KMC is also good.

DCI Level 1 Judge-
Thanks to Heroes of the Plane for the awesome Sig.
I find Dragon Shields get sticky and hard to shuffle. I actually gave mine to a friend after upgrading to the Pro Mattes and he returned them to me for the same reason- couldn't shuffle them. So it's great that they're durable, but if you can't shuffle them what good are they? Doesn't anyone else have this problem with Dragon Shield sleeves? (I take care of my decks FWIW)
I like both UPM and DS sleeves, but primarily use DS because of their durability. Yes they accumulate dirt quicker and the clear side of the sleeve gets scratched up a bit more, but the durability that they bring are why I choose them. My only problem with the DS sleeves is that, perhaps due to the way they are manufactured, sometimes my sleeves flip and one or two of my cards becomes face up within my library during shuffling. This may be a problem with my shuffling, however.
This isn't to say that UPM sleeves are the inferior, however. They shuffle like butter (how one would shuffle butter is beyond my comprehension), have better clear sides, and the colors are more vibrant. The sleeves also feel better in your hands when just holding them, and players who tend to shuffle their hands during play out of habit would, I imagine, prefer to use UPM. As a customer, I prefer my purchases to last rather than how they feel and perform. While I do love how clean and smooth UPM sleeves feel, the durability of DS is the sole reason why I purchase them instead.
As most have stated, both are fantastic choices for decks.

This minus the fact of having kids.
Also if I don't have wipes handy my dad is a mechanic for a trucking company. We are stocked in their heavy grade window cleaning spray which with a quick spritz then wipe works amazingly well. It also doesn't eat away at the sleeves or leave marks.

Lurker since March 2011. Time to change that.
Links in signatures that are meant to go to decklists but instead go to maggiccards.info make me sad.
I use DragonShields, UltraPro, and on occasion have picked up some KMC sleeves. I bought some Legion sleeves once...once. Yeah, those suck.
I have, however, come across the RFG rounded corner sleeves here. They are amazing, and fix the one problem that DragonShields have, those stupid and slightly painful sharp corners. One problem though is that if you are harsh on sleeves, which I know some people that are, normal corner shuffling can split them, as with most sleeves. But the stitching on their edge makes them extremely durable, protective, and more difficult to split than other sleeves can be.
I use Dragon Shields and Ultra Pro Matte sleeves. I hated KMC, normal Ultra Pro, and Legion sleeves.
I find cotton swabs doused in isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) works well in cleaning sleeves.

On Mythic Rares: "What's next, Wizards will print six golden Black Lotuses and randomly place them in boosters, and if someone gets one, they get to tour the Wizards facility?"
I have mine double sleeved. I use Ultra Pro Fitted sleeves (on upside down) and then Dragonshield on the correct way. EDH decks can get rather expensive and the last thing you want is your potentially most expensive deck getting strange grime along the top edge or a liquid based accident happening to them.
I bought the new Teysa art sleeves to stay thematic for a Ravnica-only tournament and found them to be impressively above what I remembered from UP art sleeves, they're tight, shuffle effortlessly, don't glide around, don't gather dust as DS and the seam seems as strong but without the bothering warping DS often have. Right now these and some japanese metallic-gloss sleeves I bought when the commander decks came out and are still intact and pristine, are the best I have, UP matte split too easy and DS are too dirty and warp your valuable cards.

Yes sir, I take fantasy art and character design commissions, PM me for rates.
I use Broccoli card sleeves, They stay rigid for a long time, and by ridgid i mean i cut myself with the corner of one on accident until i was 8 months into play with it. I find their texture and the fit on the card to be tight and they also produce oversleeves, if youre into that.
I have the Starwars themed sleeves you can get on SCG for one of my EDH decks and they've been holding up for 2 years now. One of my dragonshields split, but that's because of improper shuffling. Dragonshields are still the best IMO even if they get stuck and dirty after a while. The gold ones are just beautiful.
I use dragonshield sleeves on most of my decks. The problem I have with them is that several of the packs of them I have bought are miss cut on the top or the sides. That's what makes me weary to purchase them. I will try kmcs for my jund deck.
I use Ultra-Pro Matte for standard stuff because they're cheap, but for my EDH decks I get Dragonshields. Dragonshields are harder to shuffle, especially if I'm trying to shuffle the whole deck at once, but they are much more durable. My current standard sleeves have actually lasted for a good while, but I split Ultra-Pros all the time.
Agreed on the ultrapro shuffling ability, I can't stand D shields because of that.
Ultra Pro Pro Mattes are definitely the easiest to crush shuffle. Dragon Shield probably have the best balance between looking nice, coming in a variety of colors and shuffling decently well (until they are really old and start sticking a little).
I love my pro mattes but foil cards just don't look good in them because the are a little hazy. I'm probably going to be ordering some dragon shields soon.
