So I am trying to make a non-infinite form of Ghave, Guru of Spores, and I was wondering what were the best cards for making tokens?

I play Legacy and Edh. So far standard is not interesting me. Legacy and Edh is just more interesting in my opinion. Also the non-rotating factor is a big plus.
My decks:
Legacy (No where to play though...) GBUWR Dredge R Goblins U Fish UW Cephalid Breakfest
EDH (Lots of competitive places to play) G Non Trampling Flash Omnath, Locus of Mana U Prison / Combo Arcum Daggson RGW Big Fatty Mayael Of the Anima BGW Karador, Ghost Chieftian
Well, the list is far from complete but we do have a deckbuilding database for token lists. There is a link to it in the useful links sticky under deckbuilding or in my sig I have a link to it.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
I also have a list in my sig, and its what I play every week. I made an effort to keep my list "fun", without having a lot of tutoring, no infinite combos, and doing almost all my interacting via creature combat.
My advice would be to go for large spells that makes lots of tokens, or creatures that do the same thing. No one complains (usually) when I spend 10 mana to make 20 flying horses and attack them for 2 turns to kill them. People did make a fuss when I looped 3 creatures through my graveyard until all their creatures were exiled.
i just converted my g/w rhys to ghave not too long ago (no infinites as well), and i really can't say enough about the awesome flashback token producers that INN block has given us so far: Lingering Souls, Army of the Damned, and Increasing Devotion are seriously the best one shot (two shot?) token makers i've ever seen (athough Martial Coup is high up there, also.)
As far as continuous token making, Bitterblossom and Sacred Mesa are the obvious ones, athough the Mesa can be underwhelming without a lot of mana.
Also, I really like Promise of Bunrei, because it can act as wrath recovery OR instant token production, which is solid.
Like RedPanda said, though, Ghave is the true token god. having enough mana to drain him at opponent's eot or in response to spot removal is very strong, and having big mana cards (Earthcraft, Gaea's Cradle, Mirari's Wake) will let you kill him off and recast him multiple times a turn.

If you mean which card makes tokens the best there are a lot. But, Bitterblossom and Elspeth, Knight-Errant are the two that I think are the best token maekrs. Blossom gives you evasive token but can also allows your threat to survive most board wipes. Elspeth does the same and all three abilities are amazing.

Really, use the database. It is handy!
