Your opponent has a Mystifying Maze or Mistmeadow witch and you don't think they run Stifle (or are ignorant of such an interaction). Or they use Voyager Staff and aren't running blue. They let their commander be exiled as they don't fear the stifle... and BAM!!! Riftsweeper.
Mistmeadow + sweeper can also be used as pseudo removal of anything you want on the board.
First I want them to errata Cabal Coffers to use as a commander.

Oh, you think the losers' bracket is your ally, but you merely adopted the scrub tier. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t 4-0 an FNM until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but an extra pack to sell for store credit!
Guys... this is getting really really off topic. If you have a question for the RC, or if you have input on a discussion that is fine as well. Some of this chatter is really off base though...

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
As a fairly casual player who plays with casual folk, I like your thoughts on improving one rule which seems to be confusing for a lot of players.
When you control an opponent's permanent or creature, say through control magic or threaten effects, you are effectively prevented from activating those creatures abilities if they don't match your color identity. In effect, tapping a Forest in a Red deck is going to create colorless mana.
I understand the rules is to match flavor of deck construction but I'd like to be able to build a Red 'steal' deck that can also activate abilities of things I borrow.
In effect, removing the mana generation rules would be a small rules change and one that would improve the game in a small way.
Does this rule create any major benefit compared to its complexity?
Actually, if I can ask more general questions:
What are the ideas the Rules Committee have to improve the Commander format? Obviously new rules isn't necessarily the idea here. Please throw out any ideas you've considered.
What are some ways the the format or products could be improved to make the game more approachable for casual players? I think the Commander preconstructed decks were a great idea. What other products or format changes would you like to see? (Obviously more products are coming, and though you may know about them, pretend you don't know and answer the question.)
Are all banned as Commanders, but does this mean they can't be used at all? Could we still use them in deck building, unlike Emrakul and Kosh which are in the above banned list section so they can't be used as Commander or in the deck?
Thanks for coming in, again its really nice to see the public outreach!

I'll take this one.
Those three are banned as Commanders - but not in the rest of the 100. Feel free to use Braids, Roflos, and Erayo in whichever deck you choose, so long as they're not at the helm.

Tantarus: It didn't make the gaka greifer level, so it should be fine
Thanks! I figured that is how it was. I don't really like any of those cards but there are people at my LGS who do, and for some reason its just been a heated debate.

This isn't even really a question? Also we all know it effectively is for any mono black deck.

At my LGS this question has came up a lot and I figured while you are here why not try and settle it for them!
On your site it states that:
Braids, Cabal Minion
Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary
Erayo, Soratami Ascendant
Are all banned as Commanders, but does this mean they can't be used at all? Could we still use them in deck building, unlike Emrakul and Kosh which are in the above banned list section so they can't be used as Commander or in the deck?
