I think probably it is Kresh....I really like the idea of Xira and I like a few versions of her that I play from time to time, but sometimes she is just too clunky....if she had 2 or 3 power she would be soooo much better. Still card advantage in Jund colors on the general is pretty sweet.
Ill vote for Kresh based on known info, with Xira 2nd.

Kresh is a vanilla beatstick with that costs 5 mana. He's not very intimidating in 1vs1.
I choose Adun Oakenshield, mainly because he is less random than Xira. The flying is really nice on Xira, but in EDH you want repetition of good effects as much as possible.
After seeing what Karrthus can do 1v1 first hand, Karrthus.

I expect with this [Transform] mechanic that everyone playing a Werewolf tribal deck will say "Autobots, rollout!" whenever the majority of their army transforms.

Im not sure how getting back creatures to your hand that may or may not be in your grave at the time is "less random" than drawing a card in colors that need help with card advantage.
Vanillia beat-sticks of appropriate size can win games in a hurry (kresh can get pretty big pretty fast), but still if you want to go jund aggro with some voltron stuff to back it up it is a pretty solid option...not that id personally run him..but he seems the most likely to be consistantly competitive....
I like Xira and Adun better from a deck building and playing standpoint...but my vote remains for kresh for strictly competitive voting purposes.
I gotta give it to Mayael, she comes down early, has the ability to ramp into lots of big stuff really fast, and the deck only takes a very minor hit if the general gets tucked.
EDIT: I totally forgot about Uril. Derp. Vote changed lol.

Both are card advantage. Card advantage is getting usable cards into your hand.
Less random as in "You know you're going to get a creature instead of land, ramp, or a tutor."

Kresh is a 5 mana vanilla beatstick without haste or evasion that becomes tiny if he dies.
If he is amazing in competitive, how are guys like Mormir Vig that cost the same amount of mana and win you the game faster not being played?

Momir gets played..but you are comparing a general in bad 1v1 colors to a general in good 1v1 colors...Momir currently gets outclassed by Edric (and lots still voted for Momir), Kresh doesnt have the same comparison of generals going for him, there is no Edric for kresh. We also arent voting on Tier 1 generals...only best in each color...Kresh has a streamlined strat that while not exciting and not the best of such strats, still works and at least is consistant with pressure. Xira and Adun dont provide that line of attack and are forced to either play combo or straight up jund aggro and once you get back to aggro then Kresh still ends up better. I never said ANY of them are "amazing" in competitive, they are all bad...but we had to vote for somebody for the colors right? Kresh just happens to have the most legit and focused plan. If we had to pick only top tier generals I would just skip over a lot of these colors. Momir might be faster/better than Kresh, but Xira and Adun are both slower even at a more competitive mana investment (although 3 mana a turn to use either ability is kinda bleh)
Both are card advantage. Card advantage is getting usable cards into your hand.

Except for the fact that often Adun is doing nothing because you have no creature there or that when he does recur a creature to your hand it often isnt the right creature or a good enough creature. Xira gets you through your deck and gets you towards answers..plus..what if the advantage you need at the time IS another land, or tutor, or piece of removal? Adun isnt doing much for you at that point.
On the topic of Kresh, he's actually pretty terrible since he literally can't beat Maze of Ith/Mystifying Maze without some form of LD he also folds pretty hard to removal, bounce, tuck, calling him names and looking at him funny. Adun is cheaper, has built in CA, and his plan is a lot stronger than Kresh's because Kresh is reliant on a 5 mana 3/3 to actually do anything.

Hazezon Tamar is too slow, Rith requires an attack.
Miyael requires a sub-optimized deck, but so does Uril. The big difference is that Uril can be very hard to kill.

But since i do have to vote, i'll go for the one with the most to offer, Mayael.
