I just downloaded the client for my macbookpro. I run the dmg and then i go to run oracle and no sets appear for me to check. Has anyone else had this same problem?

It's a cool program, easier to use than MWS, and it didn't mess up my laptop. A plus for me.

This happened to me when a new version was released and my install file was outdated. Maybe that's the issue?

I just went and downloaded the most recent version of the program. Lame.

Is anyone else having trouble registering Cockatrice through a sbcglobal.net email domain?

Downloaded program and all card sets, but when I go to make my deck, 1 in every 3 cards is missing! Some examples: Faerie Macabre, Sol Ring, Dimir Doppelganger, Trinket Mage, and many others from various sets. I re-downloaded all sets through Oracle and still have this problem. Any suggestions?

EDIT: control+f on the set info download (cards.xml) found every card... They just don't come up in the deck editor when trying to search for them.

Did you run: file -> "Download sets information"??

I for one forgot about the application menu on top of my screen and assumed there was no button to download the sets information (took me a couple of minutes to figure out what was going on). Silly OSX with its wierd placement of app menus...

When you go to see your library, Is there a way to make the box bigger?

Is anyone else unable to download pictures on the fly right now?

The only issue I have is how tiny everything is in a 4 player game, and you can't zoom in or resize any of the windows.

Is there any league formed for this? :3

Ramna said that they will be working on a way to use the mouse wheel to zoom in on command.

Yeah there is definitely wasted space issues. When it's zoomed out so far, unless there are a ton of permanents on the board, you'll notice all the wasted space on the right hand side of the battlefield. Small price to pay for such an excellent product though.

Hopefully they can make it to where you can find cards by set. That would be awesome.

I have no connection problems at all. Perhaps its a location thing?

Does anybody have a database of the new Commander cards for Cockatrice.

The database is available through the Oracle, same as for downloading the other sets.

after reading through the entire thread, i guess this is worth a try. i've been using MWS, and true enough it does have lots of glitches.

can you play multiplayer solitaire for 3 or 4 different decks at the same time in cockatrice? (something i want to use to playtest EDH decks)

You mean like play 3-4 different decks offline (against yourself)? Yeah, you can do that.

For a free program, it's really impressive. Slight learning curve (for quick, smooth play) but not difficult. If they ever get an awesome AI programmer to work out of the goodness of his heart, this would KILL.
