@Hugh705
This doesn't seem to be to much of an elf deck. More like green-aggro/tempo mix.
Do you generally have a problem with flyers? I'm wondering what type of flyers you're trying to stop.
• Ranking Canopy can kill fliers if opponent decided to attack. That will actually stall an opponent more then Gravity Well
• Stuff like Mindcrank and Witchbane Orb is actually preventing you from being aggresive, the latter for being "control" to a very few type of decks, in which most cases, burn spells would be aimed at your elves to keep them in check.
Add Seer's Sundial to the list too. Horn of greed tends to be better for land-draw interaction. Mind's Eye could be better then both cards listed.
Jagged-Scar Archers is an elf and with enough power can take out just about all fliers.
Ezuri, Renegade Leader would replace the Wild Beastmaster for the boosting effect gives your elves some trample too, and he can regen your other dying elves.
there's are better elves then Wilt-leaf Liege to give your elves +1/+1, also, I see no white/gold/hybrid creatures to benefit from both +1/+1 statics. Elvish Champion Elvish Archdruid (taps for mana too) Kaysa (a classic card, actually boosts all your green creatures)
I actually never played with doubling chant. I understand what it does, but I don't see the overall appeal to play it.
Overall, you'll cut down on lands 20 > 17 normally. The Llanowar Elves and Arbor Elf are 8 additional mana sources.
Having Silhana Ledgewalker and Immaculate Magistrate on the battlefield. And using the Magistrate tap ability at all times, to pump Lilhana. When i have enough mana cast Joraga Warcaller with a cupple +1/+1 and use The Magistrate on him, to get all my creatures pumped to max!!
Imperious Perfect Enters as a backup plan with presence of Gond and Elvish Promemate. With a lot of elfs Imperious Perfect can become a nice card.
And that is it.
The deck is a little rught yet. But i plan on working on it so it gets ready for some casual competitions!
Set Imperous Perfect over Set Presence of Gond with gond, when elf gets taken out, you lose two cards, plus the buff is much better than a simple aura.
If you're running Ledgewalkers, invest on some equipment and Rancor.
Why do you have Fog effects in an aggro deck? It doesn't really make sense.
If you want to exploit Warcallers and Strength, you're going to need a lot more mana dorks or mana producers. (Up to four Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid, the Archdruids gives pump anyway.)
Ditch Nissa Revane. Overall, she doesn't do much but sit around most of the time.
Primal Rage doesn't do much to be honest. It just sits most of the time when you can find much better cards to use.
You could use Wirewood Symbiote, bounce an elf token, untap a magistrate and buff Ledgewalker again.
The cool thing about elves is you really dont need to many spell cards as many elves themselves have cool and useful abilites and can hit the board fast.
I agree with DarkNightCavalier, especially about The Mana dorks. Mana dork are IMO what makes elves one of the most powerful tribes. Lots of those combined with Glimpse of Nature (if you can afford it) makes for a massive elf swarm.
Nissa Revane, is a plan C on the deck. Get some life with the second +1 skill and when able do the seventh just to run oven the oponent with all the elfs i have.
The deck features the arbor elf + underwrold connections draw engine. Viridian longbow + deathtouch can kill almost anything. Rancor allows our deathtouch creatures to assign a single point of damage to the blocker and the rest tramples through. I'm playing Glissa mostly for her deathtouch + first strike abilities, although i am using the nihil spellbomb draw engine and executioner's capsule.
This is my first elf deck. I'm trying to come up with something that is highly competitive, without the need for super expensive cards... feedback would be very much appreciated.
Pretty straight forward.... Fauna Shamans help bring out what's necessary, lots of mana ramps. Immaculate/Joraga and other pumps are the endgame, especially with Ezuri and the wirewood lodges. Prefer the lord pump of Archdruid over Titania. Thinking of removing the Vigors (although with Joraga its pretty fun and with fauna its easy to get out) and Thorns just to focus on pure elf production. Could add 2 Bramblewood Paragons and maybe 2 Elvish Promenade. Is it worth keeping the super slow Nissa and her chosen or am I better off with say, 3 Llanowar Sentinel??
Hey guys. I've been playing this deck for a while and I'm looking for a few suggestions.
Here cards i would drop first.
-2 Nissa Chosen
-2 Vigor
-1 Nissa Revane
-2 Oracle of Nectars
-1 Tranquil Thicket
-2 Thorn Elemental
-2 Gravity Well
-2 Hunter's Insight

I agree with removing the vigors, thorns and the Nissa Ravane / Nissas Chosen. I like the Sylvan Messenger to replace the Hunters insights.
Just wondering why I would want to go without Tranquil thicket (cycle if I am mana heavy) and Gravity well (virtually nothing for flying defence without it).
This deck usually ends up with more mana than elves so is it worth it to swap Oracle of Nectars for Well wishers??
I've been playing this elf deck in casual games for awhile. With the spoiling of Elvish Mystic I haven't decided on if I should just switch out Arbor Elves or try to add in a few more mana dorks to my list.
Hey I know no one has posted in a bit here but I'm looking for advice on my deck. I think I need something other than heedless one. also, I think joraga warcaller is not right as well. I've played this a couple times and its fun to play but something is missing.
Any ideas that won't cost me 25 bucks a card lol thanks for the help!!!
I believe you need a little bit of focus.
Jagged-Scar Archers are not that efficient. There are much better cards with the Converted Mana Cost that it has, like the Elf Lords, such as Imperious Perfect, Elvish Champion. Asceticism isn't that good, It's just a Steely Resolve with Ezuri, for a much Higher CC. I believe you could remove Lead the Stampede and Asceticism for 4 Sylvan Messenger, Headless One for another Lord.
[deck=Mono G Aggro Elves] - Mana Generate
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Elvish Mystic
4 Priest of Titania - Lords
4 Elvish Archdruid
4 Elvish Champion
4 Imperious Perfect - Utility
4 Elvish Visionary
4 Wellwisher (Wanting to remove 2)
4 Sylvan Messenger
1 Ezuri, Renegade Leader
1 Wirewood Symbiote (thinking about putting 3 more, since they can bounce Sylvan or Visionary for CA) - Spells
3 Corcondant Crossroads
4 Green Sun's Zenith - Lands
2 Gaea's Cradle
14 For
Cards I've been thinking to add
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Wirewood Symbiote
Suggestions?
Solid list I think u need a finisher like craterhood behemoth to just end the game and maybe quiran ranger to help double up priest of titaina so u can pay for it without using additional elves. Wirewood symbiote will do it to at the expensecof picking up an elf I rather keep all my elves on the field for one large attack when I pill out the behomoth

Also id remove wellwisher gaining life is overrated. With craterhoof behemoth you should be able to win as early as turn 3 or 4 no need to gain life
My only concerns with this deck is that it severely lacks spot removal and board protection especially with the worst case scenario of my spells getting countered. While Akroma's Memorial provides some protection for the deck I feel as though it's not enough, cards like Beast Within and Asceticism came to mind for extra board control while Nullmage Shepherd is too slow If I don't have enough creatures to tap to make good use of it.

Sylvan Messanger is an elf and potentially draw 4 cards (elves)

Perhaps throwing in some priest of titania, Elvish Archdruid, and winter orb to slow down your opponents, but you can keep cranking out elves to overwhelm them.
The cool thing about elves is you really dont need to many spell cards as many elves themselves have cool and useful abilites and can hit the board fast.
Ezuri, Renegade Leader awesome card!! Thanks.
Primal Rage Is a way to kill someone with a big Warcaller and a token. Win with one attack.
I'll put some nice Equipments and Rancor into the deck.
About the mana dorks. How the deck would like with it? What can go out so they can come in?
4 arbor elf
4 deathrite shaman
4 thornweald archer
4 Wren's Run Vanquisher
4 Glissa, the traitor
4 abrupt decay
sorceries: 2
2 maelstrom pulse
artifacts: 6
2 viridian longbow
2 nihil spellbomb
2 executioner's capsule
4 rancor
4 underworld connections
lands: 20
4 Gilt-Leaf Palace
4 overgrown tomb
4 verdant catacombs
5 forest
3 swamp

So, any thoughts on this?

Does it have more tricks and gimmicks that make it more fun?
Here's a Mono Green Elf Combo deck I whipped up recently tell me what you think:
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Elvish Mystic
4 Devoted Druid
4 Quillspike
4 Elvish Archdruid
4 Scryb Ranger
4 Genesis Wave
4 Flourishing Defenses
3 Coat of Arms
3 Elvish Promenade
3 Gaea's Blessing
2 Slate of Ancestry
2 Akroma's Memorial
15 Forest
The idea is to combo out with Devoted Druid so that you can Genesis Wave your entire deck in one turn for game. Since Presence of Gond gets discarded from Genesis Wave I decided to go with Flourishing Defenses instead which enables my combo much easier, Scryb Ranger is there to pump extra mana with Elvish Archdruid while Gaea's Blessing is this deck's answer to mill. I'm thinking of taking Elvish Promenade out for something but I'm not sure what at the moment.
