Since a lot of other subforums (Cube and Modern) have it, I thought why can't us have it too? It saves the need for threads like the one I did on Tutors on a stick a while ago, while compiling a lot of ideas for those who want to create a custom Pauper set and/or balance the commons in their custom sets, or simply to discuss if an idea or a cycle would be viable. I'll start with two cycles which would improve one of Pauper's most sore-lacking departments: fixing.
Saline Flats
Land - Plains Island
Saline Flats comes into play tapped. (T: Add W or U to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Rotting Pool
Land - Island Swamp
Rotting Pool comes into play tapped. (T: Add U or B to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Sulfuric Crevice
Land - Swamp Mountain
Sulfuric Crevice comes into play tapped. (T: Add B or R to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Blazing Canyon
Land - Mountain Forest
Blazing Canyon comes into play tapped. (T: Add R or G to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Deserted Grasslands
Land - Forest Plains
Deserted Grasslands comes into play tapped. (T: Add G or W to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Corrupted Fields
Land - Plains Swamp
Corrupted Fields comes into play tapped. (T: Add W or B to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Thermal Lake
Land - Island Mountain
Thermal Lake comes into play tapped. (T: Add U or R to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Duskwood Jungle
Land - Swamp Forest
Duskwood Jungle comes into play tapped. (T: Add B or G to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Sandscoured Steppes
Land - Mountain Plains
Sandscoured Steppes comes into play tapped. (T: Add R or W to your mana pool.)
-----------------
Tropical Reserve
Land - Forest Island
Tropical Reserve comes into play tapped. (T: Add G or U to your mana pool.)
While being fetcheable by cards like Farseek and adding to the count of Duals we can play, these would considerably strengthen the Zoo archetype. What are your thoughts? Are these possible? Do you have some other cards to share?
I've had the exact same idea, but didn't bother to come up with snazzy names It's a shame the panoramas specify basic lands. We should also have something like:
LAND
Sacrifice ~this~: Search your library for a swamp or mountain card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library.
For all 10 combinations. These would be great with other etbt basic land type cards (like your proposed cycle), because the etbt downside is already there so you lose nothing.

Possible ... but as rares. I think counting as the basic types is worth at least Scry 1, and the scry duals are rares.
I'd also like a shock-Terramorphic Expanse, where I can search for a basic and opt to take 2 to not slow down my mana development. Probably also rare though.
The Lands urdjur mentions are certainly interesting and pretty good in combination with the Duals I proposed, but they would mean more taplands for the format. What about:
Common Flooded Strand
Land
Sacrifice ~: Search your library for a basic Plains or Island card and put it onto the battlefield. Shuffle your library.
It would have pretty good interactions as a shuffle outlet for Brainstorm as well as being a "dual" for two-colored aggro decks, but the Basic clause makes them incompatible with the common ABUR duals.
What about a Magi cycle like the three that Time Spiral block has in it? One common Mage of each color for an Artifact, a Land and an Enchantment:
Some good Black Faeries since they're probably my favourite tribe and I would love to be able to play UB Faes in Pauper and not be outclassed in every aspect by Mono U Delver with faes:
Killspell Sprite1B
Creature - Faerie Assassin
Flash, flying
When ~ enters the battlefield, you may have target creature get -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the number of Faeries you control.
1/1
-------------------------------
Persistent Flitter3B
Creature - Faerie Rogue
Flying, Persist
When Persistent Flitter enters the battlefield, put a 1/1 Black Faerie Rogue token with Flying onto the battlefield.
Whenever you play a spell during an opponent's turn, you may put a 1/1 Black Faerie Rogue token with Flying onto the battlefield. If you do, you lose 1 life.
-------------------------------
Disrupting Clique2U
Creature - Faerie Wizard
Flash, Flying
When Disrupting Clique enters the battlefield, you may put target attacking or blocking creature on top of it's owner's library.
That "toned-down" bitterblossom is actually better than the real thing, I think. Playing multiple spells on the opponents' turn and instant-speed token creation just breaks this card.
I think MtG needs more Flash creatures in general!

Rocky Tar Pit? I could see that cycle being downshifted and completed. I don't know that we can expect much better than the Tranquil Cove cycle at common, however. A series of ETBT basic-typed non-basics would be very interesting; the concept doesn't seem too powerful or complicated for common, but maybe the superb synergy would make Wizards shy?
The difference between Rocky Tar Pit and these are that the Mirage fetches search for ANY land with the basic type (Duals, Shocks) but comes tapped, where this cycle comes untapped like a normal fetch but searches only basic lands with the basic type, thus allowing for a "dual" land that enters untapped. In Pauper the Mirage fetches would be a strictly worse Evolving Wilds unless some playable nonbasics with the basic type are printed at common.
Oh, right. I wasn't reading carefully enough. Rocky Tar Pit actually has terrible synergy with a ETBT Swamp/Mountain dual. Sure, you could fetch it, but you'd have to wait two full turns before being able to use the dual. The fetch that urdjur mentioned would work much better due to the opposite ordering of the ETBT clause - the fetched land rather than the fetch itself.
