Strategic Planning is an Uncommon so it isn't legal for Pauper. Might I suggest Ideas Unbound. It's very good at digging and it fills up your GY with more cards than Strategic Planning. It also lets you dump cards in your hand that you don't want there, like Careful Study.
Also, is having only the Crusher enough? A couple of Hand of Emrakul could work if you feel you need more creatures.
Running a couple of Dragon Breath allows to swing the turn you reanimate. Since you have only 4 reanimates, protecting the combo from sorcery speed removal is really important.
He had those in his original list, but it looked like he switched them out for Walker of the Grove.
I'm not sure if Impulse is the best here since it throws stuff back into your library instead of the graveyard. Forbidden Alchemy, while costing one more mana, will be a better option since it can dig for Exhume AND put creatures in your graveyard.
I had a pauper reanimator list that splashed white for Breath of Life. It costs more mana, but having 8 reanimation spells really helps the consistency of the deck.
@Chaam: Your list seems horribly light on creature to reanimate. You should at least have 8 creatures in the deck. How has it worked so far?
That's fine. You don't really need to reanimate more than once since you have so much protection (4 duress, 4 daze, 4 spell pierce). It should be able to stick and swing for a few turns. If it does end up biting the dust you have so much dig/cantrips/draw to get to another one. This list is slower (no petals or rituals) but more resilient (12 disruption/protection) and consistent (even with such few combo pieces, 4 discard, 4 targets, 4 reanimate due to 16 cantrips, 4 cruise, 4 study).
4 Swamp
4 Island
4 Terramorphic Expanse
4 Evolving Wilds
The win: 8
4 Ulamog's Crusher
4 Walker of the Grove
4 Duress
4 Exhume
4 Careful Study
4 Pondme
Instants: 20
4 Forbidden Alchemy
4 Dark Ritual
4 Muddle the Mixture
4 Brainstorm
4 Spell Pierce
First pauper deck. I am thinking of making this or mono blue fissure. any ideas appreciated.
