I've got 35 written out so far. I'm just a few cards shy on most of them.
I still have 14 decks I'm looking at, but haven't finished writing out yet.
I doubt they'll all make the cut, though.
Here's my big ol' list.
Excuse the notes on them, but it's difficult to keep track of what I'm missing without just writing it into the decklist.
Everything actually looks relatively balanced, as you seem to have toned down a lot of the bigger archetypes, which is a good idea, as it will keep the game interesting.
I need to say though that when I look at the mercenary deck... oof... How does one go about playing that? The mercenary shell is just... so bad. You could be playing any other random assortment of great black creatures. Why Mercenaries?
I'd love to see Horned Kavu and Blastoderm in the same deck. That would be so awesome.
I really like your zombie deck! I feel like Gangrenous Zombies and Aphetto Dredging should be in there somewhere. I can also tell you from past experience that 4 Shepherd of Rot is 1 too many. Great stuff with the Nameless Inversion! SO broken!
For the 5-colour control, I was really under the impression that going with "big" spells would be the best way to go. Get a bit of mana fixing, then play all the good stuff from all the colours you want. Mulldrifter, Jilt, Tribal Flames you have, etc. It's also the opportunity to play multicoloured creatures that might not be playable in other decks, but might be great here. The Skyreach Manta you had mentioned earlier might be really good! Top it off with an Ulamog's Crusher who doesn't care with what mana you play him.
That this point, I think talking about card choices will be a good thing.
I want the decks to be fairly balanced, but I want them all to be good.
Bouncy Castle
This is actually one hellaciously fun deck. It takes a few turns to get going - first few are generally bouncing critters back and forth to block freely - but once it does get going, it runs through the deck fast, and just starts laying waste with Reality Acid. I've seen a couple of vaguely similar WU lists, but I like the splash of green here. I may end up splashing a little more (Farhaven Elf?). I don't know how competitive it'll end up playing, but it will definitely be fun.
Affinity
I highly considered Atog & Fling, but I considered it a strong gamble. If I sac out, and they kill it irsp - even flinging irsp to that - I won't have much left. If I do end up going with Atog over Nim Lasher, I'll use it more sparingly and skip Fling. The Servitors run well here, and I'll basically have a 3/4 or 5/6 each turn for cheap.
Mercenaries
I haven't had a chance to actually try them out, but the theory is: Drop a 3cc merc quickly (hopefully Rit), then start pushing out the 1 and 2 drops quickly while I edict away any defense they have. A simple Ritual->Brute puts 6 power out over 4 critters by 3rd turn while still having 6 cards in hand.
Zombies
I could definitely lose a Shepherd. Also considering losing the Tendrils of Corruption. Gangrenous would kill my whole board, although if I sac'd all to a Feeder, it might work. Dredging is decent. I'm not sure if I need more recursion over Ghoulraiser and Ghoulcaller. Playing with yesterday, it felt like I needed a bigger body that I could drop. Dead Reveler, maybe?
It's also hard to stay true and not splash green here. Putrid Leech hasn't made an appearance in this whole thing yet, and Shambling Shell curves in nicely too. Add in Grisly Salvage, and some other random graveyard shenanigans, and it could be a decent Graveyard Zombies deck. I do have 4 monoblack decks. Losing one to a multicolor wouldn't be horrible.
SRB
I was fairly underwhelmed with the SRB deck. Part of it was my choices. I especially don't like the Evolving/Terramorphic. Those will get dropped. I think I'm going to end up with a Black-Red burn deck. The new Tyrant's Choice made up my mind to try it. (Read it as: 1B - Each opponent loses 4 life). I'm still keeping a set of tap lands, since I'll need the guildgates, but I think it'll end up burning through a lot faster. Sixteen total 1cc Bolts has some good speed. Tyrant's Choice and Staggershock up the total with 4 damages apiece. Total damage is 108 in the deck - meaning I should average kill range within the top 11-12 cards. Manamorphose and Read the Bones help me get there just a little faster. It's worth considering Gitaxian Probe and/or Street Wraith as possible deck cutters as well.
I went with Red-Green because I think it would be more interesting. You could actually go BU, GU, BR, or GR for this deck. Of those, I think Red-Green would definitely be the most entertaining, and possible even the best at what it does (although GU gives me answers to noncreatures). Red gives more ping enchantments, and while black has an extra 1-drop deathtouch, green is overall better without the ping. It also allows me more creature protection if I want to fit it in, and the all important Commune with the Gods, which sets everything up perfectly, digging for either piece I need.
All that said, it's still very much in development. It feels like it needs more aggressive/disruption against the noncreature decks. I'm not fully sold on my finishers. I wanted to stay fairly cheap, but have things that can win the game quickly. Panther's fast, and has that extra toughness which can be important. Sacred Wolf is a nice hexproof body. Since he'll have a clear path, it's a hard card to stop. I could perhaps drop the panther, drop the land count 1-2 (curve would stop at 3), and add in more aggressive cheap finishers. 4 Sacred Wolf & 4 Pincher Beetles?

This is an amazing thread. A friend of mine just recently started working for a bookstore that has a small casual group of players and I think that Pauper and Pauper EDH would be perfect formats for when we get together. Have any of you been working on updating these decks since Khans of Tarkir was released?
I've definitely started tweaking these and looking at new decks since KTK.
I just got more cards to help build the hard copies of all these decks today, actually.
I'll most likely update this once I get done.

Of note, the SRB is definitely switching to the RB Burn a couple posts up.
If anyone was curious, running Evolving Wilds was horrible.
Most other changes are small, excluding KTK changes I will be doing.

High tide + .....
The infinite combo is Mancer +cloud + Flicker = infinite mana
mancer + flicker + mancer = infinite spells/draw/mill (compulsive Research)
Mancer + Flicker + oracle can also draw out your good cards as well.
This is one of the best High Tide lists I've seen.
The only thing I'd need to change is the Frantic Search and Temporal Fissure. As they're both banned in Online Pauper, I'd consider them banned in paper pauper. (There really should be an official Paper Pauper list). I would probably up counts elsewhere, and add a singleton Capsize. Perhaps add in Brainstorm, and adjust counts for the three power draws (Ponder/Preordain/Brainstorm).
Definitely got my wheels turning on this list.
Definitely much better then the WUB Familiar versions.
Extort is interesting, especially with the Retrace there.
I would love a 2nd BW deck. That may very well make the cut.

if you have fissure and Search banned you can try this instead, You need to become much more serious about protecting cloud of faeries. Muddle is a very good tutor here as it lets you find a number of very important cards and also some SB cards as well.
There is also a full on arcane deck that is interesting that uses splice, not sure how good it is.
If there was an actual paper ban list (even if I dont agree with it) alteast I could get people behind playing it. At the moment that is the only thing I see keeping pauper from being a format for real.

The only thing I'd need to change is the Frantic Search and Temporal Fissure. As they're both banned in Online Pauper, I'd consider them banned in paper pauper. (There really should be an official Paper Pauper list). I would probably up counts elsewhere, and add a singleton Capsize. Perhaps add in Brainstorm, and adjust counts for the three power draws (Ponder/Preordain/Brainstorm).
Definitely got my wheels turning on this list.
Definitely much better then the WUB Familiar versions.
Extort is interesting, especially with the Retrace there.
I would love a 2nd BW deck. That may very well make the cut.

There is also a full on arcane deck that is interesting that uses splice, not sure how good it is.
If there was an actual paper ban list (even if I dont agree with it) alteast I could get people behind playing it. At the moment that is the only thing I see keeping pauper from being a format for real.
