This is my first attempt at creating a pauper deck. It's a very simple deck, just swing for the win.
For this deck, I chose the most efficient power/cost ratio creatures I could find. Most are self explanatory. The interaction between Skyshroud Ridgeback and Hunger of the Howlpack is very cool: it dies and activates morbid for whatever other creature you have on the field. Slaughterhorn is mostly there as a pump but can be played as a creature in a pinch if needed. I included Snake Umbra for it's shield as well as card draw.
Could use some help with a sideboard. Currently my only ideas are River Boa and Mire Boa against their respective colors.
You're missing an absolute staple to this deck type: Skarrgan Pit-Skulk. I would replace either the Centaur or the Ridgeback for him.
Another very popular choice is Rogue Elephant. He's well worth the sacrificed forest.
Another common package is Quirion Ranger, which allows you to play things like Rogue Elephant and Groundswell. I used to not be a fan of them, but they're actually really good.
A couple Vault Skirges can go a long way in racing against other aggro-style decks. Slapping a rancor on one is pretty unfair.
I really dislike Skyshroud Ridgeback, since, at most, you will squeeze 2 damage out of it. Sure, you can pump it to deal more, but the same could be said of any creature. The 3 toughness does evade shocks, but the creature kills itself, so it doesn't really matter anyways.
I'd just replace it with some of the cards Obermeir proposed, but also consider Scythe Tiger, as shroud is a very very good ability.
Uktabi Drake can be a good replacement for Ridgeback. It still deals 2 damage, but it's evasive so it can connect easier and you can still sac it to trigger Morbid. And if you go into later turns he can stick around when you play him.

I personally like Shinen of Life'S Roar as a 2-of.
Good sideboard options are Gleeful Sabotage, Spore Frog, Hornet Sting, Viridian Longbow, Scattershot Archer and many more.
