So, I've always liked the Banneret creatures. The Kithkin one seems to be the best because it has so much support and fits well with the White Weenie decks. I decided to make a deck for Brighthearth Banneret. I feel it has the best ability as multiple Bannerets become redundant so you can turn it into a pump.
I've been seriously considering making a Peasant Fanatic of Mogis RDW deck, a port of the now Standard red devotion deck. Heartlash Cinder might be a nice addition, Fanatic of Mogis' lesser cousin, but still dangerous nonetheless. And Gorehorn Minotaur contributes to red devotion as well.
For your deck, consider using Seismic Stomp to pave way for an alpha strike, maybe one or two for the sideboard against other aggro decks.
Here's my list so far!
4 Brighthearth Banneret
4 Cinder Pyromancer
4 Coal Stoker
4 Gorehorn Minotaurs
4 Heartlash Cinder
2 Inner-Flame Acolyte
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Searing Blaze
2 Flame Slash
2 Bonesplitter
The deck has some good burn so I can take out threats and the pump spells make some of my weaker Elementals better.
Coal Stoker is awesome with Banneret out. You get some good value off him.
Gorehorn Minotaurs is also a pretty efficient card.
The deck has done pretty well so far in testing. I've won against a few control decks and some other decks too.
Advice, suggestions, comments?
EDIT: -2 Reckless Charge, +2 Bonesplitter
For your deck, consider using Seismic Stomp to pave way for an alpha strike, maybe one or two for the sideboard against other aggro decks.
Good thinking! Would you feel it would be good to replace Reckless Charge for 2 Boneplitters or something else?
Probably the right call,
