We have another set coming out, so I thought I'd kick off the discussions for Paper Pauper.
There are some interesting new cards, but two really caught my eye so far.
First we have Mobile Garrison. This is seems pretty good to pair with aggro decks that utilize some utility creatures. I see this being an interesting addition to Pauper Elves as it can let you get 2 uses from a Timberwatch Elf or Priest of Titania.
I also like Lifecraft Cavalry. It's a 6/6 Trampler for 5 mana. We have a lot of sac effects available in Pauper, so I think Revolt is a really easy stipulation to meet.
Consulate Turret makes easy energy counters and is also an outlet for them. I imagine people building with Energy in Pauper will be interested in this for its consistency.
I think I just like vehicles in general, but Irontread Crusher just rocks my world.
Alley Evasion is a solid trick that will see no play in Pauper.
Countless Gears Renegade is probably the best common in the set. It has very efficient stats for two mana and an easy requirement.
Wrangle is exciting because that's the cheapest CMC I've seen for an effect like that in Pauper. It can also grab a lot of big players in Pauper, like Hooting Mandrills.
Resourceful Return could be a great addition to any of the Affinity variants that use black for Disciple of the Vault
Mobile Garrison has shenanigans written all over it!
A few that stand out to me...
Embraal Gear Smasher can grind down opponents. It's easy to create artifact tokens, why not turn them into direct damage?
Bastion Inventor is a beefy hexproof creature that should see play reliably on turn 4. it's a serious threat that's immune to all pauper sweepers I can think of other than a late game Pestilence or Crypt Rats. only Diabolic Edict type spells can maybe kill it mid game.
Metallic Rebuke can see play reliably as early as turn 2, and adds to the impressive list of strong pauper counterspells.
After having played with her on the prerelease, I really wish Trophy Mage were a common. I played two of them in a RW splash Blue aggro deck and getting a Renegade Freighter, Aethersphere Harvester or Mobile Garrison was both super fun and powerful. A shame "Caw Trains" will never be Pauper legal.
On a minor note, Maverick Thopterist would have made for a great common too.

Resourceful return is worth mentioning as an interesting brew card.
I'm pretty happy to see something like Wrangle. I think it's a cool card with lots of possibilities.
Unbridled Growth is also pretty decent. Worse than Abundant Growth, but still decent.
