Seems like one of the best ways to fix mana yet, as this can be played as an untapped land as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what this card brings! What are your thoughts on the card?
The closest comparison is Terramorphic Expanse, where you can fetch any basic for free, but it comes into play tapped. This is quite different because you do have to pay for it (almost equalling a tapped land), but also has the option of being played and use the colourless mana right away. Seems like a great compromise! Not to mention graveyard shenanigans are always a thing.
This is pretty awesome! It can fit in any deck and goes a long way for thinning + fixing! This seems like a great addition for Caw Blade as it works well with Brainstorm.
So they release exactly one common, and it is a huge game changer. Actually on-color tri-color decks are a thing if they include green due to Grapple with the Past.

The people is over-hyped but really old Alaras make the same thing and give more flexibility Ash Barrensmake you chosing for Cycling or not but Panoramas can be played and lately use to fecht.
The panorama costs 2 mana to activate and gives you one of three colours tapped, Ash costs 1 mana and lets you get any colour immediately. One versus two mana is a HUGE difference.

Lmao, how could I have overlooked this. I thought there were no new cards for us. This thing is insane and will be a 4-of in every multicolor deck. The only two scenarios where I see Evolving Wilds being better is early game where you have no lands and want to fetch right away, and in decks that don't have absolutely any use for the colorless mana (IE all spells require color commitment). This will have a huge impact in the meta. Is Commander 2016 released online too?
Which are kind of unplayable (except perhaps the Green drone). So while it doesn't matter right now, it might matter in the future when playable colorless cards appear at common (or existing ones like Spatial Contortion or Warping Wail get downgraded).
I usually play 20 lands. (4 GainsLand 4 Evolving W. 8 Basic 4 Panorama) And don't have problems really like the late versatility of panorama if play 2 colors or Shard but maybe Ash need a test.
I can't see myself wanting Panoramas over Ash Barrens. Not only does a Panorama take two mana (1 to activate, 1 because the land comes tapped) vs 1 mana with Barrens, my color needs are usually higher early, not late. In other words, by the time I'm playing my 5th land I might not really care what color it is, so the "oh I can play it as a colorless land and sac it lategame to get the needed color" is less likely to happen. On the other hand, being able to cycle early for just 1 mana and play it later as a Wastes for 0 cost more closely follows the requirements of a typical game.

This is actually a really great addition for any Domain Zoo decks!
