And full spoilers are out! I think the one that stands out the most is Gearseeker Serpent cause it brings back everyone's favorite mechanic: Affinity for Artifacts! And who doesn't like getting a 5/6 for only UU?
Rest is pretty jank IMO. Maybe if Energy becomes a thing in Revolt we cann revisit some of the 2 drops. No good artifacts either. So much for the artifact block and for Fabricate being the most exciting mechanic for Pauper.
Take Down is excellent. I thought we were spoiled with Aerial Volley, but this is something else!
Dhund Operative is essentially a 3/2 Deathtouch for 2 mana, which is an excellent rate. Just a few artifacts plus artifact lands will make its conditional child's play to activate.
Accomplished Automaton is deceptively good. It can be cast on Turn three Tron and have edict fodder. That alone is huge. 5/7 is perfect for dealing with other fatties in the format. It can also come in as a 6/8 if need be. I like this a lot.
They were very smart with their wording on Dramatic Reversal. Not affecting lands really prevents this thing from being broken, in theory.
Failed Inspection may be as close to Dismiss as we're going to get in Pauper, so I'm happy enough. Seems playable.
Affinity for artifacts is back with Gearseeker Serpent. UU might be a bit too difficult to use, but with the right fixing, this could be a real bomb in affinity.
Spireside Infiltrator is pretty good looking. A 3/2 for 3 that pings for 1 when it attacks seems nice.
Night Market Lookout Looks great for Mono Black Aggro! Effectively a 2/1 for 1 that gains you 1 life when it attacks will really help offset the suicide aspect while still being an aggressive early play!
Accomplished Automaton could have been huge if it had Fabricate 2, even if it meant being a 4/6.
Subtle Strike is good but situational.
Dukhara Scavenger blocks 5/5s for days so it might be a roleplayer for some weird Black Artifact Tron variant.
Gearseeker Serpent is obviously a huge bomb and will se play almost for sure.
Failed Inspection is a poor man's Dismiss.
