I looked on mtgtop8 to see if infect had any representation in the top decks but for some reason it isn't. Nearly all of the Legacy legal Infect deck is also legal. You get the same dudes like Glistener ElfBlighted Agent and pump spells like Vines of Vastwood and Invigorate.
It can even protect its creatures well with Apostle's Blessing. So what gives? Am I looking in the wrong place for the percent of competitive pauper decks in the meta?
Well, first of all, Invigorate is banned, so it´s not an option. BUT, you have lots of pumps at your disposal. So, why it´s not on mtgtop8?
Because of MBC/insert any deck that plays edicts and heavy removal decks. Sure, you are going to win some matches. But this deck lacks consistensy and you are forced to mull in an aggressive way in order to have a decent hand that enables you to kill your opponent in the first turns of the game. Also, good hands sometimes cant deal with 2 removals and also keep up pump for the kill if your opponent plays them smart enough.
The deck is still pretty dang good, but as Paranoyy pointed out there's a lot of decks that can deal with it main deck these days. I'd really suggest checking out local metas and if you find one you feel Infect can be great in then go for it. Before Gurmag Angler become a big bad, I had a friend that would bring g/u Infect and place in the top 4, but there's a lot more Black (even more than after Gary hit the meta!)
Personally I think infect will make a come back in the next year. Pauper has been slowing down due to new printings which have made thresh and madness viable and U control better. The shift to tempo and midrange will make Tron better and better, and infect hunts tron the same way tron hunts midrange.

Legacy Infect has also other tools like Noble Hierarch , Inkmoth Nexus or Force of Will that helps with your ¿combo?
