B, sorcery: Exile target creature card from a graveyard. Put a 2/2 Zombie creature token onto the battlefield. You gain 2 life.
That's not at all bad for a common. I think this adds new merit to a zombie deck (good with Gempalm Polluter in two ways), but it might also find good application in MBC and MBA. What do you think?

I am planning to run 2 of them in my MBA deck. The issue is that it does not fit well with Gurmag Angler or marshmist titan, which are the decks best ways to respond to big black creatures.

Vile Rebirth wasn't remotely playable before. The card is worse than Rebirth for Rebirth's actual purpose (exhiling a Exhume or Tortured Existence target), it doesn't add devotion, it makes you jump through hoops, and its payoff is a Walking Corpse.
I agree. Vile's instant speed is much better than 2 life, I think, and that card saw no play. I doubt Shamble Back will be any different.
I might need to disagree here. MBA/Suicide Black has possibly the worst burn matchup of all time, frequently dealing 10+ damage to itself over the course of the game. The only way to avoid this is to slow the deck way down by removing the hyper efficient suicide creatures, which makes the deck perform worse in other matches. I will need to test it, but I think gaining 4-6 life in a game will help a lot, and the beater is every bit as efficient as the other ones (although less explosive).

So assuming you run 4 in game 2, you have a 41% chance to see at least two after seeing 20 cards (e.g. turn 12 on the play with two Signs in Blood). Those aren't great odds, but if they were replacing Carnophages for example, the total life swing would be greater (each netting +2 instead of say -2). Were these something you would sideboard to though? You mentioned running 2 maindeck.
Right now I have three mainboard slots which are in flex, I am thinking of running two main because they are very efficient, but the deck cannot play them turn 1. Basically they would let me keep the goal of 2 power per mana spent alive while cutting down on lands.

Oh, these are the Angler and two Shinobi that we talked about elsewhere? Neat idea!
(That's still 6 cards that can't be played turn 1, even assuming Dark Ritual. Probably not a HUGE deal but could conceivably lead to some awkward openers.)

Yeah, I'm fiddling with those slots in my spare time. I have also considered using Read the Bones instead to draw more gas, although what I would not do for a functional print of Sign in Blood. I would love to be able to play six.
Anyways, I think we should move back over to the MBA thread since I have derailed this one.

But what are you exiling? If they start pointing their burn at your creatures, you win anyway. So you'll have to exile one of their creatures. Hoping that they'll hit you with Hellspark Elemental? Otherwise Shamble Back will just sit in your hand. What sort of creatures does Burn run these days? Spark Elemental, too?
I main vault skirge, which burn has to kill or it will beat them by its lonesome. Most that I have played run Keldon Marauders and gonlin fireslinger, so that is a few more targets. I expect that at least one guy will make it into the grave by the time I draw it.

I think there is some credence to this especially if you are running Foul-Tongue Shriek (that card is so freaking nuts in MBA). The two cards together represent enough life gain that Burn still basically has to do 20 damage to you.

2) Use the right number of each card.
