Hey everyone. A lot of my decks I've made are usually competitive in my meta, but I'm looking to build something off the wall that will help everyone out, but still has a slight chance of pulling out the W. I know people will say that it will make the combo player win quicker, but if other players know what's coming, they'll likely be able to come up with answers quicker on their part too.
I've decided on two archetypes. One being to let everyone draw some cards, play some lands, and eventually mill the table with cards like Forced Fruition or an overpowered Mind Grind. Stuff like Nekusar, the Mindrazer and Psychosis Crawler have already been done before so something a littler bit trickier. The second option is to give everyone a bunch of creatures and let each player kill each other off while I play into a pillow fort-esque strategy.
I thought about slotting up Sheltering Ancient too for defense/hugs, but I think Windborn Muse is better here. I also have 4xCoalition Relic; wondering if it's a better choice. It comes down a turn later, but ramps harder.
Thoughts on the deck archetypes? Sweet cards I'm missing out on?
I've built many a blue deck which contain Hunted Phantasm + Propaganda. Great blocker for you, dissuades attacks, and encourages someone to send their Goblin army elsewhere.
I forgot to add that I do have a Sultai hunted deck that gives away tokens and then uses stuff like Ratchet Bomb/Illness in the Ranks/Blood Artist to hurt opponents with the tokens too. That's why you don't see any of those creatures in my list, but it is a good suggestion though.
