Vizier of Many Faces looks flexible in design, I like any card I get to use more than once.
Why black hasn't received *embalm*, and only blue/white have it surprises me, but I assume black will more toys in the follow-up....
I am quite happy with the cards from this set for my zombie horde as well. I'm skipping the lords (they have an activated ability). I'll be throwing liliana's mastery in there too. I run my horde with real cards instead of tokens so dread wanderer and miasmic mummy are making their way in as well.
Can't seem to get this one off ground. Like most GRAND MACHINE combo decks that sound AMAZING in your head, it seems horribly inconsistent and fragile and not very competitive in actual games of Magic.
All color trials looks like a blast. It needs some sort of cost reductions, but recasting trial of strength with green or red caratuche's in hand is pretty awesome.
I'll level with you. I've had this thing ~85% complete since the day that the set was released. That being said every time that I take some hours to proof read, update reviews, create decklists, etc. after about an hour or two I end up accidentally closing a window or hitting a key that deletes all of my work. I get frustrated and put it off for another couple of days, come back, same thing happens, repeat. It just happened again and at this point I'm about ready to delete everything that I have written and be done with it. I realize that I probably sound like complete moron (I probably am) because only an idiot would allow this to happen ~8 times but that's the situation. Not really sure what I'm going to do yet but at this point it's causing me way too much grief so I don't know.
Bummer.
Maybe edit in Word (or whatever) before putting it online?
That said, you could just do a few top fives this time with a little description for the most interesting ones.
Or just call the set cursed and skip it...

In magic there's Harry Dresden, Fizban, Sethra Lavode, Dorotea Senjak and me...
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.

I definitely wouldn't call you a moron. I've lost replies like that on this forum too, though none as big as one of your set reviews. It's definitely a user experience design issue with the forum; there ought to be an "are you sure?" prompt if you attempt to navigate away from the page with unsaved data. If it were my product I'd have that story near the top of the backlog.
Anyways, I hope you'll consider posting the review even if it's just in a partial state. I love the suggested deck lists but it's still great reading even without them. I often comb through and reread your old set reviews when I'm looking for inspiration to build a new deck. They're an asset a that I'm sure many other readers are just as grateful for. I'd happy to proofread it for grammar and punctuation if that would make the difference between posting it or not.
I do the same thing all the time, to the point where I started using the Lazarus plug-in for my browser. I highly recommend it, it's incredibly helpful.

Just curious what everyone out there thinks of the set, and what you'll be buying?
Cheers
I'm sure I'll score playsets of a few of the monuments too.

Green - Blue - Red - White - Gold
Maybe next time:

Benefaction of Rhonas looks useful. Nomad Mythmaker & Eldrazi Conscription will like this...
Lord of the Accursed & Wayward Servant are decent options for my zombie-horde pile, I'll pick up new zombie tokens too.

When Parallel Lives was printed, my wife accidentally bought eight instead of four. We ended up totally not caring, so Anointed Procession is a shoo-in, too.
Other that that, So Many Kittehs, Drake Haven (for my 8yo's completely useless Drake Tribal deck that wants to actually achieve something in life now)...

Outside of the horde, I'm looking to pick up Throne of the God-Pharaoh, slither blade, cut // ribbons, and maybe approach of the second sun.
Are you still planning on writing a review? I've been looking forward to reading it.
