I'm thinking about completely omitting the leach and starting off with something fresh. Anyone have any suggestions? Is there some other cool creatures I can loop with the leach? Please no infinite combos or I-Win cards.
I mean I no one will ever tell you to remove 4x Survival from a Green deck given that it essentially gives you access to unlimited Demonic Tutors. Hell, it's even better than that given that you can do things like field a singleton Squee, Goblin Nabob to ostensibly draw 2 cards per turn. FWIW Survival isn't busted because of Rec NM, Survival is just "busted" and that's the end of the it. There's no such thing as a fair survival deck because even if you're not tutoring up a 1-card combo kill (Phyrexian Devourer -> Triskelion -> Necrotic Ooze) you're still stacking your draws while drawing 2 cards per turn which is never fair.
Decklist looks pretty sweet. If you had to add green in there too what would your choices be? I'm still on the fences about keeping the lich package. Is there some other Sultai cards that go together that have synergy with Heartless Summoning? Some emerge creatures could be fun too.
SOTF allows me to drop some stuff and add a bunch of 1-ofs.
Not too much of a difference, but here's what I'm thinking if I keep the lich package
I'm not really a fan of infinite or I win cards. Kruphix, Lich, Coffers, and Myr is good enough.
Fair enough.
I started thinking about how I would build this deck if I were adding Green and the only other card that seemed like a "must have" is Vengevine. After all, you're always casting at least 2 creatures per turn, especially when you consider the fact that you're able to cast things like Squee and Fierce Empath for a single mana. It's ostensibly a "free" 3/2 Haste that dodges all forms of non-exile removal which isn't broken by any means but there's no compelling reason to omit it either. For a small investment of mana you can bin some them early on and then for the rest of the game you'll have a strong anti-control plan which is probably your worst MU to begin with.
Decided against Survival of the Fittest and just trying to focus on a deck that can play magic with or without Heartless Summoning. Here's what I'll be sleeving up for some testing.

FWIW Sidisi, Undead Vizier is almost strictly better than Rune-Scarred Demon you should always field the first Sidisi over the first Demon (and yes, I'm aware of the Rune-Scarred Demon -> Phantasmal Image chain).
