Here's something I'm fiddling with, but since I've never played with this tribe before, I'd like some input on a few things;
Should I even bother?
Are there better cards or ways to build it?
Given the variety of colours the good cards seem to be in, is a rainbow (5 colour) approach the way to go?
Support;
4 Tutor - Possibly Cateran Summons, Treefolk Harbinger (also allows to find early land), Flamekin Harbinger. Harbingers are an obvious target for *champion* trigger. I'm leaning towards Treefolk here for utility and being a better chump.
Okay. So you guys who have played with Changelings before, how did you do it?
And did you find that a low or high changeling count VS spells/non-changeling creatures mattered all that much?
Having ran a changeling deck in the past, the harbingers are kind of slow since they go to the top of your library and not your hand. Crucible of Fire is pretty legit for changelings. There's also Akroma's Memorial. If your meta allows, I would use Living Wish to tutor up for the lords and other utility creatures, especially if you have Harabaz Druid to make insane amounts of mana. Wolfbriar Elemental, Harabaz Druid and Mirror Entity can make huge creatures fast. Grabbing lands like Starlit Sanctum from your SB to fling your fatties is also sweet.

So my main focus will likely be these;

4-6 Sweeper/Removal effects - possibly Crux of Fate, Whelming Wave, Peer Pressure, Crib Swap (can be tutored for)
Is Peer Pressure the best removal option here? And if it is, is Amoeboid Changeling a must-have too?
2 Didgeridoo Yeah I'm an aussie and have never bothered to learn more than how to make good fart sounds with one.
4-6 Other perms that work with Changelings (Slivers obviously) like Dwarven Recruiter/Goblin Recruiter, Shifting Sliver, Coat of Arms, Crucible of Fire, Sea Gate Loremaster, Timber Protector, Undead Warchief, Megantic Sliver etc.
2 Harmonic Sliver & 2 Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero seem like auto-include here, but not having played this deck before I can only assume how it will play out on a large table.
Maybe 3-4 Ramp creaures in Harabaz Druid or Gemhide SLiver / Manaweft Sliver
Maybe 1-2 recursion like Oversold Cemetery for Lin Sivvi backup.
Maybe 3-4 DRAW like Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study or flavour for Distant Melody
Maybe 1 lifegain like Essence Sliver
For LAND, options will depend on what sort of non-changelings I opt for, to satisfy lands like Auntie's Hovel, Wanderwine Hub et al., Ally Encampment, Primal Beyond, Ancient Ziggurat, Sliver Hive or others like Contested Cliffs, Starlit Sanctum.
Otherwise, a mix of Tri-Lands, Evolving Wilds and 1 of each basic for the budget option.
(sigh) A few things up in the air....

Maybe find cards that benefit a specific tribe and use it? Like Coat of Arms or something
If you run a 5 color, your could probably add a bunch of fun singletons that provide some utility. Flameshadow Conjuring, Palace Siege, Crystal Shard, Akroma's Memorial, Didgeridoo, Aura Shards, Dense Foliage, Rhystic Study, Dragon Tempest, etc.
Pumping all attacking dragons and / or double striking.
Captivating Vampire maybe nice for your wishboard.
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.
Oh!
I hadn't even thought about including a Wishboard - what a thought that is.
Thanks for all the advice everyone, I'll post an updated list in the next few days as I finalise a list.
